Lady at the cash was extremely rude, she kept telling me I needed a sleep test for something I am already diagnosed with. Left a prescription for a new cpap and 2 weeks no call back.
I know see why this is not well rated.
2 words. Customer service!

My husband went in to get me a brace
Thé lady told him I needed to be there to be fitted so he came and got me and went there to be fitted
We got back and the woman completely ignored us and started fiddling with stuff on shelves etc. The older man stood at the cash and ignored us. He finally came over as we were opening packages ourselves and trying braces on. He pointed out some options then walked away again. Made sure he said is that what you want and I was like I dunno. He wouldn’t even look at what’ll the doctor had written nor help us with fitting. So now I have the wrong kind and I am out money

All the store are not customer friendly at all.nothing is organized or stock put out on shelves and when you call the stores they are cannot confirm if they have a certain product in stock even if you give them the sku number. Prices are always higher than the online store, at times by up to $10 for a 30 or 40 dollar thing, means 30% higher. Folks who pick up the phone are really not equipped to help customers or even willing to look up things. Not sure how shoppers is till in business and not going bankrupt. Will go to other local stores selling medical devices or equipment. Also selection they carry is very limited compared to other private stores.

What a joke of a place! Go online looking for a product on Shoppers.ca, and the closest place with stock is this place. Price is just over $10 online. Call, confirm stock, and put one aside for me, never thinking to confirm the price given it's online. Drive 10 kms to get it, and they tell me is $25. Excuse me? Their explanation "there is the online price and price in store is different". Again, WTAF? Wasted, time, gas and most importantly, my time going to these gougers. Disgusted with Shoppers for actually allowing this to happen. And this is why I have been doing all my ordering online.done with shoppers, period.

What a horrible place! My husband purchased a tummy wrap brought it home and it was ripped. After bringing it back (10 min later after purchase) he was told it his fault for not examining the package first. Are you serious? What a horrible place! Awful stuff sold by rude people! 0 stars!

Just like the other reviews on here about rude staff and useless. I was looking for a Nexus walker for my dad. I tried to adjust the walker and the staff that was helping me wasn't happy that I was adjusting the walker, she rudely took it away from me. The bad attitude I was given when asked about getting a new walker instead of the demo. One staff tried to say she just put it together and started to wipe it down and pass it off as new. Shoppers should seriously audit this location. At the end I picked it up at the Carling Wellwise location very helpful and professional manner.

Actually didn’t want to believe the 1 star reviews but it seems apparent that is more than Wellwise deserves. From the initial phone call, it was abrupt, and the lady couldn’t assist with what I needed in regards to cpap and accessories.even though they are all one department, the communication there is ridiculous.

Here you come to buy cheap products (not even at times). Do not expect any level of service.

I visited this store to get an AirCast boot prescribed by a doctor for my foot fracture. I was served by a middle-aged woman wearing glasses and speaking with an Eastern-European accent. Her customer service skills were utterly poor. First, she created the same feeling that another user mentioned below: like I was contagious and will get her sick or contaminate the surfaces and merchandise in the store. I haven’t experienced such a bizarre attitude at any other place in the 18 months of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Second, when she was fitting the boot on my foot, I politely asked her not to touch my toes because I had a fracture there and it hurt. She told me to pull and adjust the lower strap very tight. I mentioned again that I couldn’t do it because of the fracture and pain. Her response was inappropriate (if not insolent) : “When we give birth it also hurts. You have to overcome it”. She didn’t care that I had a broken bone where a simple touch or excessive pressure would aggravate the pain.

WellWise is a place where you expect professional and compassionate service. Instead, this employee has demonstrated the profound absence of customer service skills.

If I have a choice for no star, I would.
The staff at this location are truly useless and rudeness. We brought Nexus walker on March, 2021. The walker is not function on 1 side (Oct, 2021), brought in to the store and ask whether it is still under warranty period, never get answer for warranty, left the walker to the manager to examine what’s wrong!
When picked up after it fixed (the manager fixed it!), asked what’s happen, so we know how to avoid it happen again. It’s look like we are not allow to ask what’s wrong, the staff only said it fixed, no charge. I asked 3 times, and the third time, I become frustrated, I feel like I don’t have the right to ask what’s wrong with the walker! When asked again the warranty period, I never got the answer as she walked away.
I chose that store location because it closes to my house, I won’t go and not recommend, to that store anymore (Wellwise at Hazeldean Rd), it is not the first time to experience rudeness, same experience couple years ago when we rent the walker.
Deplorable customer service, absolutely no manners or patience, extremely rude staff.
They are only helpful to explain the product you brought at that time, like a saleswoman. After the sales, no support, no customer service, no helpful information how to use the product and how to avoid the damages. Act like no commission, no help!

The staff at this location are truly useless. I needed a two wheel walker following hip replacement surgery. The Wellwise website indicated that the Hazeldean store had this is stock. When my wife arrived to pick it up the employee said that there were none in stock and that this is how the website is designed: to direct potential shippers to the nearest store. The employee refused to call another Wellwise to see if the walker was in stock, and said she couldn't look it up on online. Absolutely bizarre and worst customer service. Why does Wellwise exist? Right, to order from Amazon.

Had a great experience. Murelle (I apologize if I spelt it wrong) was very helpful and so kind! She was quick to come over and assist me with finding a knee brace, measuring to determine my size and assisting me with trying it on.

As a company they have a big building with many choices of different fully stocked products. I understand during these times we have to be careful not to get sick or get anyone else sick. From the time that I walked through the doors I didn't feel welcome. I felt like I was not allowed to touch anything. Even the employee made me feel like I was contagious and will get her sick, even though I was not. I felt like I was rushed out the door, and left to go to the Wellwise on Carling Ave. This is where you should go even though they are half the size with an older building. The staff there are extremely friendly and helpful.

One day three employees were at the front complaining about their job while I was the only one in the store. Not once did anyone ask if I needed help. Yesterday, there were about 6 customers in the store with one employee on cash. Will not return.

Staff very helpful. I needed a raised toilet seat for my mother-in-law. Was informed by staff that if I came between 10 and 11 a.m. I could get 20% off with PC optimum. So came back next day. Because I was up the night before with my mother-in-law, I was a bit groggy. Bought the seat but forgot to check the box if oval or elongated & of course picked up the wrong box. Did not open the box & called them back immediately after getting home and explained. They advised me that due to Covid-19 they could not do returns. After explaining to the manager she allowed me to exchange it. I was so grateful. Thank you for understanding.

I came here today with my three kids. Got here early cause hours changed.there was an employee witting outside as well. She did not tell me they would be opening late. I waited until 11. Store still not open.
11: 05 lady showed up with the keys and I was told one minute. She came out again and told me 15 minutes. Why didn't the employee waiting outside tell me 25 minutes ago the store would be opening a half hour late. This is not the first time I ahve had bad service here. Strongly do NOT recommend. If I could give zero stars I would.

I tried the product on store with the supervisor and I bought it (unsealed, by the way).
No warning at all that it was a final sale.
I did not use it because my doctor said it was the wrong product.
I came to return it and they said I could not return because it was a final sale and I was surprised because no one told me that and there is no signs on the receipt.
Now I am stucked with an expensive product. Advise to any customer, even if you try the product, ask for a sealed box.
The same product was found online with the half of the price. First and last time at this place.

Yesterday I walked into this store needing to make some purchases. I had been at physio due to a mishap on a flight of stairs at home. I severely strained my back. I told Sarah my problem and she immediately suggested a compression back wrap (gel pack). Also another large size reusable gel pack. Sarah recommended Biofreeze to help with the back pain. I purchased all three items. Her friendliness, knowledge and empathy impressed me. She made my shopping experience so much easier than expected! Sarah went above and beyond my expectations. I got immediate relief from the Biofreeze and slept well through the night. Also my pain is being reduced from the ice therapy. Also another staff member TerriLynn was very kind, friendly and helpful. It was an amazing customer service experience and I will return.

Nice people and quite helpful. They were able to repair a problem with our mobility scooter in house and show us how to keep the problem from reoccurring.

Sarah looked after me and my wife's caregiver on 11th July 2018, and she was outstandingly helpful and sympathetic. She spent time to carefully explain options to us, and provided samples we could try. I did not speak to Sarah's colleague but she seemed nice also. There must have been a recent change in staff at this store, I cannot imagine anyone now getting the poor treatment that some previous commenters have described. Unless something changes I will be a repeat customer here.

Called in to get a price on an item. Had model number and full name of item but the person that answered the phone kept telling me that it was all the way back in the stock room and it would take her 20 minutes to get the price. She kept repeating this fact no matter what I asked until I gave up. 3rd time I have had sketchy service from this store both on the phone and in person.
