I order food via drive throu so I do not know how the inside of this Wendy looked like, but the guy who took my order was polite and got my order correct. He did it in a quick and professional manner. The food was hot and quick.
The drive throu layout is somewhat confusing but just follow the signs and you will be fine.
Honestly I never feel like giving a review to a fast food place cause meh.it's fast food. But today service was plain awful. Went through the drive-thru, ordered 2 baconators combo with large fries and large drinks with no ice, 12 chicken nuggets with sweet and sour and bbq sauce, and 1 Chilli cheese nacho. Since I'm driving home alone I can't double check the contents in the bag, once I got home, small fries, drinks were no large and the cups were halfway full, only bbq sauce for the nuggets and 1 straw crushed in 3 pieces. I get it, you hate working at Wendy's but by all means service was not great and this is the food I get to take home. Maybe the staff don't care cause it ain't their food, but if I'm paying almost 50 bucks for my order, I expect some quality standards. Haven't been to Wendy's in a long time, not planning to ever go back.
It was so unfavorable experience, the restaurant was so unclean, the trash bin was overflowing, the coke machine was not working, the vegetables was rotten Even worse no one care even if you complained which I did but no care
Wendy's has an automatic job application process. My daughter (teen first time job) had an interview schedule. Next day she received a cancelation of the appointment. Why not be more conscious and give an explanation why is been cancel? Why crash the self steam of kids? Remember (manager or Supervisor) your first job? Where you lucky enough that somebody got it for you or you were rejected with no explanation? Been a manager is caring for your team or future customer's. Do I want a contact back? Yes from your manager or district manager! Is so desapointed how kids are treated!
Filthy, kitchen smoked out, a bunch of teens working, almost every order we observed was wrong. Line up of people coming back with problems, including coming in from drive thru. Chicken fingers barely warm. Won’t be back at this location. Upper James is the best.
This is the most frustrating Wendy’s but it’s my local one lol My order is simple. Chili with cheese and onion and a sour cream on the side. They messed it up 8 out of 10 times lol
The sprite was carbonated water only. No sprite. I didn’t feeling like driving back. Then I discovered they gave us no ketchup. The food was good with a family coupon. I guess there was lack of help there too as I drove to the second window to pay and get the meals.
Typical Wendys fare from a Tim Horton's / Wendy's duo location. Was very surprised that neither the Tim Hortons or Wendys facilites had any hand sanitizing stations for patrons and the first table we sat down at was dirty. Wasnt a usual stellar location.
I've gone through the drive-thru and eaten in the restaurant many times and have never had any issues until today. I ordered a taco salad and got the lettuce, tortilla chips, salsa and sour cream but no chili which is a big thing in their taco salad. Next time I use the drive-thru, I'll check to make sure my order is 100% complete. I star for this visit.
Got all the way home to find no chicken fingers in the bag but don't worry i got the dipping sauce. Poutines have about 4 cups of gravy on them making them barely edible. Should have kept driving. Find somewhere else
Had a very frustrating day and was quite "hangry" but the gentleman at this location's drive thru (I believe his name is Avtar? I hope I got that right) had such a courteous and cheerful disposition, it made me realize what a difference that can make to the entire takeout experience. My order was ready as soon as I pulled up to the pick-up window, despite it being the middle of dinnertime rush, so the team prepping our food merits a shoutout too!
Ordered from skip from Dundas they only sent one order, skip wouldn't help. Called Wendy's they said we had to drive upto golf links there to get it. They said they could up size our frosty for our troubles. Ya tipped Ubber and drove from Dundas to golf links and your just gonna up size my Frosty, Ya just give me my food never again.
Was here yesterday and even though we only picked up a few of their limited time strawberry Frostys, the gentleman that served us was the pure picture of fantastic customer service. Definitely need more people like him in such a service industry, not enough with similar personality as him.
Foods usually pretty good, but countless times I see the same teenagers working and standing outside the kitchen talking to the boys that sit in the eating eara an dont even order anything, an now today, i see about 6 people workin.but the one guy thats not wearing a mask is the one prepping all the food.
Not hot, not fresh, and never right. Who trains these people? Management needs to step up their game. I understand after the first 10 mistakes. But enough is enough. I’m moving on to other establishments in the area.
Ps. We’re Wendy’s, we don’t answer our phone or don’t respond to deserving negative reviews about our mistakes and inefficiencies. Move on.
Visited last Saturday and thought I was getting the Bacon Deluxe instead I got the Baconnator - not what I would even consider. Today I asked for a side ceasar salad expecting ceasar dressing but I got the ranch. I dislike ranch dressing. Both times the staff had trouble hearing. I am trying to support our local restaurants during Covid-19 but I am really disappointed and will take my business elsewhere.
We just came from ordering food from the Golf Links Ancaster location. ALL of the food was cold, one of the fries containers was completely empty and other parts of our order were incorrect. I tried calling several times and no one picked up the phone. I spent $50 and am extremely disappointed. I did not even get a receipt. I hope that management will reach out to me.
I've been to this location a number of times but this time, it seems that half the condiments went missing since they renovated the store. I ordered the usual, but this time, you had to ask or be offered by the staff ketchup for your fries. In the past you could go to the ketchup machine and serve as much ketchup as you need. Also, in my past few visits, the staff are either slowish or they don't make the orders decently. As for today, my burger was not decent. In fact, half the cheese wasn't even melted. But surprisingly enough the meat was fully cooked, and they were slow on the fries. And this order did not take place during rush hour so I can't understand why when a cheese burger is ordered that the cheese can't be fully melted?
I don't really go to Wendy's anymore are patties have no flavour you have to put lots of stuff on them to make it even tastes good and it's kind of expensive but their chili I love that's probably the only thing I would get there
Aggressive lady working at the window with attitude will not be coming back ever again. I came here thinking it would be normal I was wrong I think her name was Jane she's on the heavier side and has wrinkles on her face with black or brown hair
I don’t think they have ever got any of my orders right. They gave me a taco salad without cheese today. With lots of soggy brown lettuce and a random piece of celery.is there even celery in taco salad?
Absolutely the worst Wendy's around. I wasn't expecting much but their burgers have gotten worse. Paper thin tiny fries taste like paint. I actually feel ill now. What happened Wendys used to be good. Service was terrible too.
Very fast service and lovely staff. Have never had an issue with my food. Unfortunately the location is not the greatest; the seating is uncomfortable and there's no station for ketchup or anything else, because they share the (rather small) building with Tim Hortons. No drink mixing machine here either, which is a real shame because they're so cool! But the staff and the quality more than make up for it.
Quick and friendly service. To be honest there are not many things I can eat here, but its a great place to grab a coffee or a soda while waiting for the bus across the road during extreme temperatures.
Horrible experience today. The woman working behind the counter was very rude from the start, and then more so as time went on. If you don't like your job, find a new one.
No salt on any of our fries, and then when I asked for some, I got attitude about it.
Also when we asked for ketchup, our table of 4 was given 4 sachets. One per person policy in play now? Or just a poor attitude?
I asked for her name, she refused to give it. I shouted to the guy behind her, and he said her name was Jane. I asked for a manager, she identified herself as the manager. Josh, the other manager told me her name was Hope.
Josh was polite and chose to de-escalate as much as he was able. Hope on the other hand was confrontational, rude, and ignorant. She was also rude to several others as we sat and tried to enjoy our food.
Hopefully Hope can find a training course on how to properly manage a store, or a job better suited to her - away from people.
