Wendy's

Ordered a spicy chicken sandwich with fries for lunch at 12: 30. As you can see in the picture there was barely any chicken. They used to give a nice piece of chicken and now it's basically just bread and toppings. The fries were also cold and soggy, which is ridiculous for lunch time

The staff is always really kind whenever I come in. They are really nice about lettuce wrapping my food and have never made me feel bad for asking for that. The food is always nice! Favorite Wendy's!

I came here before 11: 00 a.m. For breakfast, unfortunately and to my disappointment, they don't have any breakfast (ready and pre-cooked food) menu that moment according to the supervisor, so I walked away and went to Mcdonalds next door. Wendy's have to step-up their service and menu offerings. If their issue is MANPOWER, then, they have to IMPORT MANPOWER from Asia. Just my $0.02.

Best sandwiches, tasty patties, and even if you want a salad you won't be disappointed

The drive thru was mixed in what the Time. Hortons drive thru so it was a bit confusing and hard to maneuver the turn. Could barely hear the person asking for our order. The food was amazing though and the service was quick.

Sean is the best on the Merivale location! Never had wonderful service like that! Its worth a detour!

Very busy area during Lunch time but the burger I had was made perfectly. The staff there is professional & efficient. One of my Favorite Wendy's to attend to.

At this point, I literally can't trust that everything is in the bag when they give it to me. COUNTLESS times I have had to go back because fries were missing from the bag. I never leave the restaurant anymore without checking my order, and I never order delivery for this reason because I dont want to deal with a refund. I wish I was joking, but I'm not.

The wait times are also ridiculous, mcdonalds is a hell of a lot better, and that's probably saying something to some people.

They mess up your order half the time. The other half the time the food is cold or overcooked. This location sucks!

Update: dec 28 2021, this place makes mistakes about 50% of the time through drivethru. Got home to learn I am missing a sandwich. Strongly recommending checking your order before you leave the parking lot.

I have been.using the drive thru for several years and found the staff to be just wonderful, especially Jeff, Melanie and Matt. So friendly and fun.

Got it for take out. Ate the meal within 15 mintues receiving my order. Got the chicken burger "combo #7" not sure was the chicken burger was sitting there to long or over fried, it was just dry and stialed. Other wise the chilli was good.

Wendy's has always been my favorite fast food joint, but the last visit the spicy chicken sandwich wasn't as fresh as I had remembered. I'll obviously try another time but was really looking forward to it. The Baconator is always good though! And the caramel frosty was good!

I went to this Wendy's for lunch today, and tried for the 1st time to use the mobile app they're promoting. I order my food and wait. And wait, and wait. Turns out that despite making the order in their parking lot, it was actually generated across town, 20 minutes away. Having already used 20 of my 30 minute break trying to figure this out, I had no time (or desire) to make the 40 minute round trip that would be required to get my food. I wait and speak to the counter girl to advise of the predicament, but she tells me she can't help me at all, other than to advise against using the app, just as she always advises people. So now I've left without any food, even though I've paid for some, and no time left on my break to get something else to eat. I call the 1-800 number, but it says it's unavailable. The chat function just indicates to try contacting in normal hours. It's just after 1pm. I will not be using the wendys app again, and as a consequence will not be going to wendys in the near future, as I prefer apps where possible these days.

I like this place! I love their 2 burgers called Dave's Single Cheeseburger and their Spicy chicken meal. To be honest, the prices are a bit expensive and they look smaller then what they look on the image. Their salads also look cool! I never heard of the fact of having strawberries on a salad and this is where it's made with very good creativity! Their fountain drink machine has many options to choose from. They have many drinks and even flavours for example cherry coke, peach sprite etc. You should try the fruit flavours! But you should preferably use sprite for them, it's the best choice in my opinion. I recommend you to come here but not always of course! This place is very popular and crowded by the way because there is a Tim Hortons beside it and of course Tim Hortons is gonna attract a huge crowd. Wendy's also has huge lines.

The Two male managers that worked on August 2nd, 2021 Monday morning at the 1595 Merivale road, Ottawa, Canada branch. The two male managers where very rude and yelling. They acted very unprofessional and acted with racist acts. It's a serious matter and should be escalated to the next level.

As far as Wendy's goes, this is an upper-tier one. One of my favourites to go to in Ottawa for fast food.

We received an order 5 minutes ago. It is missing 2 items. I have called the phone number given 3x. It rings about 20x then seems to be answered by a fax machine, lots of beeping and scratching noises. Not very helpful!

Most disgusting place ever. Washrooms are not cleaned. And I mean disgusting! I ordered my food, went to use the washroom and saw the state they are in and left right away without touching my lunch. If they can't handle cleaning the washrooms, imagine how clean their prep stations are or the employees. You will catch something way worse than covid if you were too eat there. This would of been 0/5 stars if it would let me post.

Wendy's Merivale has again for the 3rd time served me a southwestern avocado salad with NO Avocado.

I always go to this location and always use the drive-thru. The staff is friendly and service is quick. I have a disability that makes my left hand and arm shake, making it difficult to use the Interac machine easily and to take the bag quickly. The staff is always patient and make sure I am able to manage both.

The order is always accurate. Never a problem.

The staff is always helpful and nice at this location, and the baconator is always delicious! It is fast food, si of you're expecting a high end lunch, you may be wondering about the 5 stars, but if you want an excellent burger and a soft drink served fast, I highly recommend this location. It's a quick in and out (don't mix yourself with the Tim Hortons drivethru though, both are serving at this location).

Quick service, friendly staff, hot and delicious food. The drive through is a little confusing if you've never been before but it's not difficult to figure out. Or just go inside, I guess.

Always great service & delicious food, I got my usual which was amazing as always & my daughter got the kid's cheeseburger meal & loved & devoured it!

Have to remind the staff that the promotion is for my order before they charge me full price. Several employees standing by cash taking no orders. Also they let a customer in without a mask. Never again!

Ordered a plain bagel with double baccon. It was hard as a freaking rock, and had two pieces of bacon. I paid for extra bacon, but I didn't look until I was gone or I would have taken it back in.

Food was good. The layout of the drive-thru has you cross the Tim Horton's drive-thru. Weird layout for sure.

Went ordered 30 bucks of food waited over ten mins got my food asked for a straw she argued and said she put on in the bag I told her I couldn't find it and she just didn't give one cause she said she did already so I left went to the car to find no straw as I told her and had to walk all way around for the lady to give me attitude for her not knowing how to do her job and giving me trouble for a friggen straw cheap. Should hire dumb people very unhappy. Also managed to mess up the order not happy and they won't answer the phone when I call.

Honestly don't understand how this place messes up orders constantly, don't order delivery from them go to the place itself so when they mess your order up you're right there to fix it smfh

It's a half restaurant, sharing space with a Tim Horton's. The food was good for its price, and the service was speedy. Wasn't impressed when I found the one bathroom stall for men was out of toilet paper though, and less impressed when someone else discovered that fact 3 hours later.

Wendy's is a holy place for us. We all must partake in the consumption of all of their fresh, never frozen burgers. So good. Praise to our Goddess, Wendy. We thank thee Wendy for the glorious food. -The Cult of Wendy

Terrible! They messed up me and my girlfriends meals. She ordered a 3 piece chicken strip meal with a bacon poutine. There was no gravy on the poutine and I ordered a baconator with fries and received a bacon delux and 2 small fries. Completely terrible!

Missed items in my order (which I either missed being called or picked up before it was called) during peak dinner rush, and they made it right.

Clean, fresh and received special requests orders right away. Would be 5 stars if the cashiers spoke a bit better English, don't even try in French.

Terrible service. They only pay attention to drive through and Skip the dishes orders. Waited, first in line, for almost 10 minutes without anyone taking my order. Decided to leave and go to McDonald's. Definitely not what it used to be.

I only ever visit this Wendy's when I am in Ottawa visiting family but I love Wendy's! I tried a poutine for the first time and it was very good surprisingly (for a fast food place not in Quebec) and my burger was fresh and full of toppings! It did not leave me hungry and I was completely satisfied as I always am at this location! It was very, very busy that evening, but the service was quick and very friendly! Great for a quick bite on the go!

For those that haven't been, fast food burgers, fries, salads, soft drinks, lemonade, and more. The baked potatoes are also really yummy. I find their food a notch up in quality from other fast food.

So nicer than before since they had an awesome makeover in the room. Much better and more welcome. Food is always same. All good!

I like the options for side dishes. But Spent the evening in the bathroom After my last visit. Staff are not friendly. The drink machines were not work. Not worth a return visit

I personally like going through the drive-through for any type of fast food for the exact meaning behind the word, “FAST! ” I can tell you the staff here that work the drive-through will listen to what you say exactly, They don’t talk over top of you, they wait until your finished speaking and most importantly they always always seem friendly, professional and Fast to meeting your expectations and calm that rumbling in your tummy in the blink of an eye! That’s A+

How does someone get a cold burger ordered at the counter and the wrapper came off within seconds after receiving it! And what happened to the taste of the "meat"

Excellent service, friendly staff, best experience with this Wendy's at this location.
Would definitely have lunch there again.
