Wendy's

The food was fresh and tasty. They forgot to put bacon on one of the burgers but, quickly fixed the burger. The staff was friendly and were all smiling. My one concern was the men's bathroom. My son and his friend (8years old) went in the washroom and seen a lot of graffiti that included some hate speech written in bathroom. Please clean the graffiti off or paint over it. No one wants their children to read things like this.

Inconsistency, The place is dirty inside, and there are a lot of flies flying around in the food making area. Workers were the same gloves that they use in the cash register. The manager of the police do not use any gloves while handling the food. I had to call him out on it. When you order your food to the drive-through really think about it maybe it’s a good idea that you go inside and order it instead. Staff is OK. Not very friendly but also not rude.

Friendly staff and good service. 99c small frosty is an awesome deal and until the end of August they are offering free small coffees. Coffee is pretty good and on par with Tims and better than McDonalds which is very hit and miss. Lots of space inside and lots of parking outside.

Needs a real over haul at this location drinks are warm fries are cold seem it's going downhill at this location

If i could give one star i would.when i walked in the restaurant, there was ice all filled up in the drink machine, im talking about a pile-up here.when i went to order, the cashier just stood in the back not coming to the register to get my order.when she finally came, she was rude and very cold towards me.when i finally got my food, (i ordered a kids 4piece nuggets & fried) the nugget was soggy on one side.i still ate it not suspecting anything, but that night i spent throwing up.i had not ate anything else that was bad.this happened a few days ago still, and my stomach feels horrible still.honeslty don’t go here.even if i was the rare exception, vomiting all night sucked.

I was there for my lunch. First of all they did not make order correctly. I did not see a good customer service there. Staff was not polite and welcoming.
I have witness one incidence. One delivery partner was there for pickup. He told staff order number but staff asked delivery driver to show his cellphone, which he refused rightly and asked staff, whether she need any other information regarding the order. He mentioned the name of the customer for which he was there. Meanwhile all of sudden 3/4 south Indian staff members gathered at the cash register and tried to scare the driver and spoke rudely with him. Staff behaviour was very rude. I must say this Wendy's food store need well behaved staff who know the good cutomer service, other present staff will ruin the business.

Mixed up my order. Wouldn't make my burger the way I wanted. Told me to do it myself! Told me to take my burger apart and add my own mustard if I wanted it! Really? Not cool. Mixed up the guys order after me. Table was sticky. I asked for chili they only filled container half way! Brutal.

Took a while to get my order, and left with no sauce in the bag. Also went by one morning and they couldn't get their systems up. Overall it's an okay location, but I may pass from now on and go to the one by my house.

Always understaffed. Management is rude. Never anyone at the till to take your order. Feel sorry for the employees working for such a mis managed location.

I enjoy eating Wendy’s occasionally. The food is good, the staff are nice and the price is right. My reason for 4 stars is because the place is in desperate need for a renovation and sometimes there is a bad smell.

Just went there to grab a quick bite. There system was down so that wasn't there fault. But the entire restaurant was dirty and sticky.bathrooms disgusting as well. Then wife and I decided to eat in our car cause of how dirty it was.and one of the employees seen a friend come in the store and was swearing in front of customers about how the systems were down etc.the only reason y I'm giving any stars at all is because the food tasted great. And the employee who served us was very polite

Tried the sausage egg and Swiss croissant breakfast meal. It was OK, but the breakfast wedges were the star! Coffee was weak.

This Wendys was a horrible experience, on a 40 degree day in the summer they did not have air conditioning running or anything. Completely unacceptable! This place needs new management.

Needs improvement fast with your new breakfast and coffee offers. Obviously very little training on this matter with your manager and staffs. I had a few coffee out there last few days, once coffee is not hot. Another time found sugar in it when I did not ask and I disliked that very much. Another cup of coffee leaks out between lid and cup and dripped all over my dress shirt to work. Manager there also is not so friendly when he sees coffee customers as he may think customers are just looking for free things when in fact I am a loyal Wendy’s supporter but will like to try the coffee to find out if it is to my liking. So far my answer is no. Bad bad bad and bad. Improvement is needed or u will not get the public support that I am sure.

I work in fast food and even when there’s a rush i’m never rude to my customers, the lady in the red visor, naruto mask and grey shirt today needs to properly learn how to handle stress and not get frustrated at customers during rush hour.

The customer service here is absolutely disgusting. Management has no regard for customer concerns and they allow staff to behave in the most demeaning disrespectful and unbecoming manner. Highly discouraged visit in this location.

Food order wrong. Slow service in drive-thru. The menu sign was not lit up. Then the manager chewed out an employee in front of customers. Very unclassy.

Easily worst Wendy’s in the world. Staff is always so rude (especially the Spanish woman in drive thru) and they haven’t updated a single thing inside in over 15 years. Most recently they gave me all the wrong food in the drive thru, and then blamed it on me and told me to give it back. Why is it my fault that they gave me the wrong items? Anyways this was like incident number 7 or 8 of overt ignorance, so after some less than parliamentary language I headed out with no return date in mind. They got a new one out on Winchester and Simcoe that’s pretty good, so I’d say go there.

What is happening to this place? !? Does anyone even read the comments? It is a disaster! I had to wait for more than 15 minutes for 2 chicken nuggets kids meals? ! I was the only one in the drive thru and they asked me to wait in the parking. I had to go inside after 15 minutes to check on my order and still waited around 10 minutes inside as well. I am a kind of a regular as I live near by and I see this place closing down soon if no one pays attention to it.

The staff is well trained and we get usually our food in a good time. Food quality is the same for a franchise. Best is that they listen to you and they follow what you want on your order. Great team at this location. Other locations make you wait longer. Keep up the good work.

Poor customer service from staff. Lack of freshness on ingredients; tomato, lettuce. Please step up your game! I know its wendys but people come to you for food not trash!

Ordered Uber Eats delivery from Wendy's and they completely botched my order: missing a large chocolate frosty and I got the wrong drink.

This has to be the worst Wendy's in Durham. If they don't get your order completely wrong, then they will forget to give you something. Today they forgot to give me the fries I ordered. Is this a training location for new employees or something? I have a feeling it isn't and they simply need to do better.

Love me some Wendy's, great treat every now and then. Staff has always been good, never had an issue

Won't be coming back to this location whover was working drive thru Tuesday night was absolutely ridiculously ignorant it was like it was an inconvenience that we came through drive through and ordered two frosties! I got so much attitude from the young guy that was working I wanted to say something to him but I didn't want to stir up drama!

During last few months, using drive-thru ordering, when I get home, I found they charged me for full order but I get less! Missing combos and so on! The last time was today that I ordered 2 combos and one extra sandwich but I just got two combos and they did charge me for extra sandwich! When I called them directly went to voicemail with out any return! I will never go to this place again

We enjoyed 99c choclate frosty many times. Most of the time this place was empty, so we had whole place with ourself.

Awful service. Infact never had bad service like this. In fact one of the employees a young girl was so rude and ignored me for 5 min when i asked her a question. She made fun of me when i asked her a simple question. Didn't know people were allowed to behave so rudely to customers. When talking to the manager she as well seemed to not take it serious.
Never going there again.

Not sure if there was an issue with under-staffing or what, but I have never waited in a drive-thru for 36 minutes.
The gentleman at the window/taking orders was calm, cool and collected and I sincerely hope her appreciated for his hard work.

Horrible Terrible service. They had charged more when I showed the family coupon. It was supposed to charge $18.99+tax. But they did charge $24.86 from me. Bad experience

Quick service for takeout. Used my coupon for 2 burgers, 2 fries and 2 drinks. I thought they would have used the cheaper fries because of the coupon combo but the fries were hot and fresh and very tasty. In and out in no time at all. People are good at following the rules for Covid-19. Pleasant experience

I have had the burgers, sloppy.chicken, dried out and the service unprofessional!
I have given this location multiple attempts to 'make it better', but without fail this staff continues to give low quality products and service. I do not recommend it as an option to spend your money at.

“PATRONS BEWARE! ”
Went through the drive through yesterday. When I pulled up to the window to pay and receive my order a young lady was there and rubbing her hands together as though she had just applied some type of product. She was not wearing gloves, but did have on a mask. As I drove away, my car seemed to be filling up with a very strong scent of perfume. I’m sensitive to perfumes as I have asthma. I eventually pulled over to see where the smell was coming from. It was all over the bags and containers my food was in. I turned around and drove back to the restaurant. This time I went inside to speak to the manager. The same young girl who served me at the window identified herself as the manager. I asked her if she was wearing perfume or a strong scented product? She said no. I told her that there was a strong scent of perfume all over my order. So much so that my car filled up with the odour and still smells of it. She said she didn’t know why. Then an older man came out. I explained the problem to him. He said it was just the smell of the bags. They would not take ownership of the problem and there was no apology for the issue either. At the end of it all, he said he would replace my order and did. Both of them handled my second order as well. Yes, the second order had the same perfume smell only not as strong the second time. I turned and told him that one of them has something on there hands as I began to cough as I left. He said ‘it’s just the smell of the bags’. I call BS to that. Talk about insulting my intelligence. What a joke. Why aren’t they wearing gloves? No more Wendy’s for me!

In three recent visits, the order has not been correct. Asking for a "large chocolate frosty", having it read back, then given a regular and that I was only charged for a regular, is poor.

The staff are garbage. The drive-thru experience is garbage. I haven't been inside since last year due to COVID, but I can only imagine they're as terrible at cleaning as they are at every other aspect of a simple job.

Avoid like the plague.

This spot clearly knows how to please their customers. Consistently with a kind demeanor. The food is fairly priced, constantly delightful and neat.

Grate food and all. Sadly their bathrooms are not open. I use them before ordering food. But because I could not. I just left to go else where.

I don't even give this place a star. The service is so bad. The food, well it's eadable. Talk about the filthy please. There is 1 little lady, management. Total rudest person ever. Her people skills are just nasty. She shouldn't be in management.maybe this place needs to be reported.

I was not to happy first of all the rap is is very small that’s why it only costs 2$ so if u wanna be full order 2 of them also the workers are careless for example I watched them pack the food and they just tossed the fries sideways into the bad and gave it me me like that. The food was good but service was bad and the better make their rap bigger.

Excellent excellent I have been going there for years and years every time I'm up on holidays I get my car done they're very friendly the very courteous and I do a fabulous job I wouldn't consider going anywhere else

I find the fries a bit on tbe salty side. Other than that, nothing bad or good that I have to say.

I love the spicy chicken sandwich. Service and food is good here. I recommended the frosty for a sweet treat.

Just excited that I was able to actually sit in the restaurant for the first time in Months. Whitby location. Us Torontonians aren't able too yet!

My Apple Pecan Chicken salad is always on point! The fries has been salty on few occasions. Good experiences overall

They Discontinued vanilla Frosty's. I know dislike Wendy's (the only reason i went there was for the vanilla frosty)

I was here the one time the staff tried to give me my food on a tray that was previously used by someone else. Had a ketchup stain right on it. The lady got all offended when I asked for a different tray

Staff is always friendly in the drive thru. They have never messed up my order or forgot to give me the sauce I ask for. Pretty quick as well.

Friendly staff, hamburgers were ok. Cola was warm, even though they have ice in the cup. Ice in the machine was broken. Also washroom was smelling with something unpleasant, degrading overall experience.

Not the cleanest restaurant ever, but what do you expect for $14/ hour!? !? I have found out that the store manager makes only $15 and hour. Where is the insentive to move up? And why would you want the extra responsibility for a dollar more? And who is going to take you seriously if your only making a dollar more an hour then them? But I'm sure most places are like this, BAD IDEA. Food was good, reasonably priced, and if they could have had one of the people behind the counted clean a few tables it would have gotten a better review.

This is a standard Wendy's. One thing it has going for it is that the drive-thru seems to be fast and efficient. They've never gotten an order wrong when I've gone and the fries are always hot and fresh.

However, the one time I did eat inside, the restaurant appeared dirty, the trays and condiments were all over the place and the bathroom was not clean. I haven't been inside the restaurant since. The restaurant itself also probably needs a facelift, it doesn't seem to have changed much since it opened.

Food and service was okay but my salad did not look like the menu at all. The picture had pieces of avocado but my salad had mashed avocados. Disappointed.

I've always enjoyed Wendy's it's a good place for a nice meal or even just a Snack (a drive by Frosty is just makes you HAPPY)

If i could give this place zero stars i would. As far as customer service is concerned this is the worst reasturant i have EVER been to. On decmeber 16,2018 me and my friends went through the drive through to order food. At the drive through we tried to make 3 orders and instead of saying "im sorry we only can do 2 orders" which i would have unsterstood and been fine with, the drive through operater says with attitude "Im not doing a third order.drive up". So even thogh he was rude we still combined our order paid and left. 5 minutes of driving later, realized we were missing items. Went back and was then told that we were lieing and making it up and were talked to very rudely. So my friend goes into the resturant to order and pay again beacsaue they refused to give us our order. And FROM THE DRIVE THROUGH i can here the employee screaming and yelling, insulting and swearing up a storm at him. Calling him fat and all sorts of nasty things. At this point its getting ridiculous so we ask to speak to a manager for a full refund. The manager comes out and when asked why he allows his employees to talk to customers in such a way he replys "i dont no the sitiutation so i cant comment on it". YOUR THE MANAGER. As a manager you should never let yout staff disrespect your customer over missing fries and a burger. Even after the situation was explained the manager did nothing and continued to say nothing as the 2 employess continued to be disrespectful. And then to top it off they refused to give us a full refund. Anf only gave us a partial refund. It was just all extrememly disrespectful and i will be calling head office and making an offical complaint. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE.

Advertising for mushroom melt was still all over the place, even at the cashier monitor. But stopped selling it because it was over so I couldn't have one. Bit that's why I went. Sad.
