Wentworth-Halton X-Ray and Ultrasound Inc

I have normally had pretty good experiences here. I was recently contacted by them because my doctor had faxed a requisition directly to them for several types of xrays and ultrasounds. My appointment was made for today for some of those tests. I've also received 2 reminder text messages about my appointment for today. When I arrived to check in they no longer had a copy of my requisition and refused to do my testing.

Took my daughter for an X-ray today. Front staff friendly and patient and the X-ray tech couldn’t have been more professional and kind. Was very pleased with our experience today.

This place needs a lot of improvements, no digital display to let you know how far you have reached in the queue, it's like waiting endlessly to see the queue move slowly, one time they skipped the name from queue at all, I don't know in digital era where this place is feels like so 90's in the way they manage

Called well ahead of closing time to warn that I'll be there for an urgent X-ray with my toddler, 20 minutes before I got there. The receptionist said ok but if there's a line up, my toddler might not be able to be seen. I get there 15 minutes before closing, there's no one in the waiting room and the technician already left for the day. Terrible experience and staff.

If you have mental health problems don't expect service. Probably will get send away. R. I. P.my son

Horrible on following up with x-ray results, I have been waiting almost 2 weeks for an x-ray I was told I would receive in 3 days

Wentworth-Halton X-Ray is in violation of Halton By Law 47-20, unless excempt. I am medically excempt from wearing any face covering. I had discussed this with family doctor 6+months ago prior to a recent situation with Wentworth-Halton X-Ray. I am being denied medical attention from this company because it's their policy Face coverings are mandatory even though all high risk By-Law enforcement has been revoked as of June 11th 2022. Even if I'm medically excempt they said (from head office) I would need to wait until their (in house) face mask policy is lifted before I can receive medical attention.or go somewhere else. Because I'm medically excempt, receptionist and staff has labeled me as aggressive because the company deliberately falsely canceled my appointments saying (I canceled my appointments) when I had a July 8th booking confirmed at 1060 Speers rd location. I have every right to be frustrated when companies lie as to the real reason I'm being denied medical services. Because I show frustration over a By-Law that I'm medically exempt from I'm immediately labeled as (agressive) I never once name called anyone.never once was I Condenseding towards staff, never once yelled at anyone but because it's a policy breaking By-Law 47-20 that I'm excempt from they can deny me medical attention? Their policy overrides by-law? I'm calling Oakville By-Law and I'm going to get this matter dealt with. I talked to Head office/ management and they wouldn't even acknowledge they were lieing or manipulating a situation to make it look like I was the one canceling my own appointments (fraud) so they wouldn't deal with my (medical excemption) and because I showed frustration over fraud I'm immediately labeled as (agressive). This is a joke right?

First call: Myself and receptionist had a good pleasant conversation. I explained I was medically exempt and by-law lifted everything June 11th anyways for all High risk environments. Booking was confirmed for July 8th @ 11am 2022 @ the 1060 Speers road location. Receptionist said if there are any issues management will call me.

Second call. Receptionist called me back a week later or so to re-book an appointment I cancelled (Which I never cancelled) I was put on hold twice while she looked into the matter. After holding twice I told her "I bet you I know what happened " she said "what" and then I told her " It's probably management canceling my appointment because they don't want to deal with me wearing a muzzle " (receptionist immediately hung up) and before I can fully explain I was medically excempt I was disconnected.

Next phone call. After reporting them as refusing me medical treatment. I was labeled as being agressive towards staff and talking down to them.

Not once was I Condenseding or abusive to staff in any way shape or form.

Because I'm being labeled as (Agressive) and because they can't follow (By-Laws) they admitted to denying me medical services I now have to call Oakville By-Law.

I'm tired of private ownership bullying around people and not respecting the law. Private ownership believes they are above the law. Well I guess I'll be calling By-Law and getting this matter resolved.

There was a bit of a wait, but completely understandable, nothing outrageous - maybe 10min after checking in. The front staff seemed tired, hopefully they're getting enough breaks and support, working intake is never easy. I was nervous for my ultrasound but the tech, Elena (sp?), was amazing, very nice, very gentle, and made me feel more at ease.

If you are looking for a top-notch ultrasound facility with a very professional group of people, then this is the place to go. They are experienced, knowledgeable and pleasant to deal with. Please realize that when you come for a consult, these technicians have other patients to attend to as well. Be considerate and know that they will go by the book (i.e. Doctor's instructions), as they are strictly regulated by the government. If you're looking for a nice and pleasant chat about your life story, then you need to go somewhere else, like a coffee shop or a pizza place. Otherwise, if your purpose is to get a proper medical diagnosis, then look no further. Highly recommended!

Called in to book an ultrasound appointment on phone. There’s no one ahead of me in the call queue since 33 minutes. Clearly, they don’t want your business.

I was here the other day for my anatomy ultrasound. As this is my first baby I was expecting a fairly pleasant experience and also finding out the baby’s gender. Unfortunately the technician was extremely rough with my belly and I was in so much pain I needed her to stop before I passed out. I did mention this to her during the ultrasound as well as a follow up call to cancel future appointments. As a first time mom this was a terrible and heartbreaking experience I wouldn’t wish on any pregnant mom.

Unprofessional and rude service on the reception.went there to book ultrasound and they said they don't book on spot and someone will call me after a week to get the appointment. It has been more than a week and nobody called.

I came here for x-rays but ended up having the go to the Brant location for the special kind I needed. Even though I didn't get my x-rays done here, the staff who helped me out were extremely kind and helpful despite it being the end of the day! Thank you for being so kind and professional!

I drive to Burlington from my home in Flamborough just to attend this xray clinic. All of the staff are kind and professional. Twice this week I have been in and out for xrays in 30 mins.or less. Outstanding. Thank you for all you do.

Did a walk-in for an X-ray. Didn't have to wait very long and staff were polite and professional.

Went in for 3 ultrasounds over the course of 5 months and had no issues. Was able to book early morning appointments and was seen right at the time of my appointment. Would go back in the future.

I highly not recommend this place! I had really bad pain in my foot, and I needed x-ray fast. After taking the x-ray they told me the server is down and we don't know when it will be fixed we can't give you or the doctor x-ray. So I was stuck with the pain! And yes the reception is rude not helpful at all! ZERO!

AVOID for dating ultrasound! Its a long story, but a beautiful experience like that should be done ANYWERE ELSE!

Super unpleasant experience. Went in for a pelvic ultrasound and had the tech ask me a couple of unprofessional questions, example " are you married? Are you allowed to do this test if your not married? ". I felt completely judged and mistreated and felt like i had to explain myself about why I had an ultrasound.

This was completely unprofessional and DID NOT feel like a safe space!

, 5 minutes late for appointment.they tell me take a seT. I wait 2/2 hour then they tell me they can't see me.and some back in a week. Five mins late for a scan and can't do it?

Unpleasant and unprofessional staff that have no knowledge of service to patients. The staff is impatient with the elderly. Needs to change- do not recommend this place.

Very efficient staff and the facility is great too. Special thanks to Zanaib - an U/S tech who was very efficient and understanding and had patience to do the u/s for my 6 year old child today. Keep up the good work.:)

The receptionist need training how to respond to clients in a nice way - reception desk need to be organized to get the paper quickly

I called to book an appointment for an ultrasound only to be yelled at by the receptionist named Elaine. If my first point of contact is going to yell at me over the phone why would I go there? Based on the reviews, I’m no longer surprised by the way I was treated. I did go for an ultrasound here about a year ago and the tech I had was also very snippy but nowhere close to the anger that lives inside the receptionist that works there. To the people that work there: getting an ultrasound or xray is as a result of checking on a medical condition. Be kind to other people as you don’t know what they might be going through. If you can’t be kind, find a new profession.

I waited for at least an hour to know that they can’t do my kind of X-ray! They don’t have the technology to X-ray while standing! And no one even apologized. My kids and wife were waiting for me in the car!

Before few days i booked an appointment for my ultrasound while i was doing my registration 1 lady from ultrasound department she came out in a very very rude manner she pulled my hand and said where is your registration i said am doing that she behaved in very rude way and said come first do your ultrasound then do your registration i went in.i told her that i will not come alone i want my husband with me its my first medical examination she behaved worst and said he is not allowed to come in then she pulled me again she was just like forcing me i didnt went for examination i told no i cancled my appointment then front dest peoples where also rude to me. PLEASE FIRST TEACH YOUR STAFF HOW TO BEHAVE WITH PATIENTS AND HOW TO TALK WITH THEM RATHER TEACHING THEM MEDICAL PLEASE TEACH YOUR STAFF SOME MANNERS. I will never ever come back to this centre nor i will suggest any people to go their worst place i have ever seen.
