I needed to have an x-ray taken and was told to have it done at West End Diagnostic.
Upon arrival I checked in at the front desk and was told to sit down.
After waiting for close to an hour, I was told that the technician had left and that I would have to leave and return another day.
Thanks for wasting my time West End Diagnostic!

This is the third or fourth time that I come to this place just because it is close to home. Wait times were insane even when the place was empty. Today, when I handed my requisition for an x-ray to the receptionist she told me that the wait time was going to be 20 min because there was another patient inside (really? Are there people that need 20 min for an x-ray?). Regardless, I waited. After 40 min of waiting, I approached to complaint and they took me inside to wait for another 15 min. At that point, we were 3 people waiting for the X-rays and they let in the other two before me.
I would have passed to write this review, but it seems that it is a consistent behavior. The other times that I went happened exactly the same.

Horrible service very disappointed and staff need to really learn humility and how to speak with customers needing service. Ive felt dehumanized and automatically walked out just as i seen enough to feel like a number and not a valued customer.

Every time I have come here (three times for x-rays) it's been a terrible experience. The front desk staff are consistently impatient and rude, and when patients ask questions or try to get clarity the staff can be aggressive. I showed up today at 8: 30 (when they opened) for an x-ray and was told I was "second in line. " I was not seen until 9: 55.

As I sat in the waiting room this morning, I witnessed the front desk staff tell every patient coming in for x-rays that they should come back another day because the wait would be at least one hour. They actively discouraged patients from being seen today. This is consistent with my own experience, when I came in last week for a walk-in x-ray and was told "there's nobody here to do it, come back tomorrow. " No explanation, no empathy. It's a truly discouraging experience for a patient seeking answers and assistance with their healthcare.

If I had a choice in where I could go to get my imaging, I would never choose this place. I'd also advise anyone seeking healthcare in a supportive environment to look elsewhere if you can. This is a miserable experience that increases anxiety for patients trying to receive care.

Took my mom here a couple weeks ago. She is in a wheelchair. Asked for a washroom and the front desk tells me down the long hall to the left. Could barely fit her wheelchair in the bathroom, had to keep the door open. The hallways are so narrow, we barely got though. This place is not wheelchair friendly. Even though I called prior about her wheelchair & they said sure. Ultrasound technician was awful. He lacked people skills. Was rude and he was very unprofessional. Don’t come to this place. We were not impressed.
Oh and in the 2nd waiting room around the corner, I found a huge washroom after the fact. They failed. Only positive was no waiting. Oh and the parking is horrible.

I started going to West End Diagnostic about 3 years ago for my annual mammogram and ultrasound. Lynn has always done my mammograms and she's wonderful! She's polite, carefully takes me through each step, and tells me what to expect. On my recent appointment, Olga did my ultrasound and like Lynn, she seemed very thorough too. I feel my care is in good hands when I attend this clinic.

Fairly fast and efficient place to get your scans done. Have been a couple of times and the wait has never been long if you pre book your appointment.

Terrible experience due to poor service from receptionists.

I had an ultrasound and chest X-Ray appointment at 12: 30 today. I went at this appointment on time and the receptionist told me to get an ultrasound first and then a chest X-ray.

When the ultrasound was over, I gave information when I came to the reception. There was another employee inside and she told me to wait. Many people followed me while I waited. Again I asked another receptionist and she said I appeared in the first row. Again, I waited a long time and those who came after me were taken. I think it's been 45 minutes and the receptionist who made my first transaction came and I reminded her again. Looks like nobody brought my test paper. Despite reminding me, no one investigated why I waited so long. I waited another 10 minutes, then they let me in. For the X-ray, I took off my clothes in the cabin, dressed that was given to me, and waited there for more than 10 minutes. Again, I insisted that I was in a hurry. Meanwhile, no one has made a single statement.

As a result, it was between 12: 30 and 14: 00 where I went and I still couldn't get a simple chest x-ray. I had to pick up my little girl from school and I couldn't wait any longer. So I got dressed and left without a chest X-ray. My sugar dropped from stress, my body started to tremble. Even though I sat in front of the receptionists for about an hour, they didn't think it was anormal to wait this long. Elsewhere, you won't find three receptionists who can't organize their work properly, who don't feel the need to look at the source of the problem despite my warnings, who just look at the screen and say you’re first row.

On 8 of September and again today, 7 of october i was mistreated by an employee who is doing x rays. People who arrived after me anddid not have an appointment were called in way before me. When i complained she was rude. Even though i arrived before people who

We are waiting in the waiting room for ultrasound for 45 minutes. People that have appointments after us already been accepted. It looks that the paper the receptionist gave to technician got lost. But definitelly, they had time to introduce new employee to all the staff and show them around. Where are the priorities?
After I went back to a recepcionist, she went to the ultrasound are to look for a technician. He was not in his office. After he came back he was just hanging out in his office. Receptionist went back and said to him "Your 1: 30 appointment is still here" and technician responded "I KNOW". That happen at 2: 30. So for the full hour he knew that patient is waiting for him! He simply chose to ignore it.
It seems that he is there not to do his job, but to collect his paycheck. Do you really want this kind of employee working for you? That was an Asian technician. We not sure what his name is.

This is my go to place. All the staff behind the desk & technicians are caring and extremely kind. I have been in a few times, called and everyone has been delightful.

Today I did my first trimester ultrasound at 1301 bloor street west location, staff was very nice Caterina did my ultrasound, I liked her very much she was very kind and friendly, this is my first time when I felt so comfortable while doing ultrasound.

First time here and it was a pleasant experience. I was nervous because it was my first X-ray. The receptionist was very kind and helpful. While I was waiting, she handled a very busy and demanding desk fielding both phone and walk ins simultaneously. One patient actually came to the wrong location and she called the correct location right away for them without being asked.
The technician Lynn made my first time X-ray very comfortable. She was patient with my questions and explained everything slowly and step by step.

From the beginning to the end, I had a very good experience. Sansha Joseph at the front desk went out of her way to ensure that I have all pertinent information in my email. The US Technician Nasra was kind and compassionate. Outstanding service, fast and easy!

Do not trust results from this clinic. I had an ultrasound completed on both shoulders due to sever pain. No issues were found, so I was diagnosed withe myofacia pain. A few months later I decided to get a repeat ultrasound from a different clinic and they found tendonosis and fluid buildup. How was this missed?

I met the worst ultrasound technician ever at your laboratory. He was absolutely rude, disrespectful and unprofessional.
Because of my condition I always get xray and ultrasound to be done and I never have to deal with a technician like him in my entire life. From now on, I will never put a foot in this laboratory.
I would have to be crazy to put my health in this person's hands

Bad reception service. I called to book an appointment fo mammogram on March 23,2021. Appointment was scheduled on April 06 at 1: 40 pm. But no record has been entered in the system or it's been deleted later. When I came at appointed time they couldn't find my name in the schedule. Apologies were not offered.

Awful awful place. I went for a routine ultrasound at 3 months pregnant where they discovered my baby had died. I started to cry and said that I had had a feeling something was wrong, and the technician told me to control myself, and that my baby had died because I had negative thoughts. ‘Negative thoughts negative outcome’ she said. Then she proceeded to tell me it was probably because I wasn’t taking care of my health. Awful, traumatizing experience. I can’t even walk by the building without getting upset. This place should be shut. AVOID.

The ultrasound technician left the curtain and door open on a few occasions during my ultrasound. She never apologized but turned around and said it was not her fault for being so busy since I had come so late in the day.it was also my second time coming in since I was not informed of the exact amount of milliliters to drink prior to my ultrasound. Stay away at all costs! It's not worth the frustration.

I never leave bad reviews but this place was horrible. The front staff were okay, not very friendly.
The ultrasound technician on the other hand apparently doesn't know how to treat someone like a human being. Rude to begin with, cell phone kept going off which was unprofessional, and caused pain during an internal ultrasound but didnt care at all.
Just stay away from this place unless you want to feel violated.

Not a positive experience at this place. We went in for an ultrasound of our baby and the staff was super rude. We were 3 mins late, apologized and still were given attitude. We stayed humble even though they felt they had to mention we were late three different times 2x in the waiting room and once in the examination room. During the ultrasound we were expecting to have some things explained: like the baby’s anatomy but we were told nothing. We were also prohibited to take any pictures or, heaven forbid, have some pictures printed out for us. When asked about the baby’s heart rate, the answer was: “Your doctor will tell you”. What? During the very first ultrasound at a different location, we were told the heart rate and even allowed to take pictures and got more information. Do NOT expect that at this location. It’s like you’re not allowed to know ANYTHING about your own body/baby! We get that these people are not allowed to diagnose you, but a simple friendly attitude and a print out picture of your baby shouldn’t be this hard to get! We will never go back to this place again. Please stay away and go ANYWHERE else.

Front desk is extremely rude. Going on an extreme public rant about politicians with a room full of customers. When asked to be more polite about her comments, she turned her backlash on me. I'm there just waiting for my husband.

- Ultrasound - if you want to be treated as person, not a thing, better to go elsewhere. (e.g. Callous attitude re pain.) The US report did not even include a couple of things my MD specifically asked them to check.
- The front desk is personable, and reasonably prompt.
- The X-ray guy is professional, efficient, and considerate.
