Always an excellent Sunday date with my husband. Great place, good food and the staff is always friendly.

Went for brunch for opening time 11 30 a.m. Food was just coming out.all hot all fresh. No issues with the food.

We went there for dinner the other day and we pleasantly surprised by the variety of different Chinese food they have and the price was about $17 a person which to me is a good deal for the price, will definitely go again

It was okay this time alot of pork but I found it dry. They need to switch up the food sometimes and maybe do something different with the dessert's.

Good again. A few hits and misses over the years but, its always are go to when undecided where to go. It didn't disappoint:)

Lunch buffet was just ok. Went to lunch here and was greeted promptly and seated. The buffet was filled with all the basic Chinese favourites, I’ve provided as many photos as I could before being asked not to. Everything was very clean, food was hot and came out fresh. I gave a 3/5 because I would have liked a bit more variety in meats. There was a lot of Canadian food choices, I would have rathered more Chinese food choices instead. Rice and noodles were bland and needed more flavour. Wonton soup had a weird aftertaste. Unfortunately there was nothing that I would especially go back for. Paid $35.00 for 2 lunch buffet only waters to drink.

Food is okay but my issue is regarding the sad 3 fish up front with absolutely nothing in the tank with them. What a horrible existence. Also makes for a very sad dinner outting with family

Food was great, we got the dinner buffet. Huge variety of items - everything was wonderful. Price was very reasonable. Staff are friendly and attentive. Highly recommended.

I have not been here in a long time. Frankly there quality was questionable then. What a change this time. Fresh, hot, and great quality on every item we had at the buffet. And the staff were on point and very accommodating. This is now a place I want to go back to again.

Disappointing Visit. This place usually has Top Notch Cuisine; But, Today's offerings were truly disappointing for me. Many of the Hot Buffet items were either just above frozen (had ice crystals in my mashed potatoes.not joking.) or was lukewarm at best. This was not what I expected from a usual favorite restaurant. Hope they do better in future.

Food was good. First time going there. Drove from Cambridge to this place with my family. I wasn't disappointed. It was worth the drive

I love the sweet and sour ribs. I am waiting for the mandatory masks to be removed before I dine in. But if I am over near Brantford I will stop in and grab an order to go.

Finally open for dine-in! Limited seating, but there was lots of room available yesterday. Seems like nothing has changed, except the covid procedure in effect.

They are sooooo nice and friendly.love this place. I don't live in Brantford, but I drive here for take out because it's that's good.

Ordered a veggie chow mein, got charged for the chow mein. Went home, opened it up only veggies without any noodles. And they never pick up their phone! Better check your food before going home, good luck with a tons of plastic wrapping!

Trying to support a local business we ordered quite a large order for pick up. Got it home and opened it up and what a disappointment. Everything was dried out and overcooked. The wings they sent us smelled to high heaven, the chicken was quite obviously spoiled and not just a little, had to throw in the garbage. Called and let them know, all we got was a sorry. No offer to make right. We have been customers for years, sadly no longer.

Time travel and unlimited lunch buffet for $7.99? Who could refuse!

Stepping into the restaurant is like stepping back into 1989. Original marble floors, original carpets, original everything and the glowing neon lights over the food area provide ambient lighting. Sure the aesthetics are a bit dated but at this point it's part of the appeal.

The food was hot and fresh especially the chicken wings for an unbeatable price.

Always our choice of Chinese food & very reasonable priced. Just can't wait for buffet to open again. Since we moved to Brantford we have found they are the best all around & consistant with their cooking.

The customer service is consistently quick, great mood, very nice staff members. I will visit here again when I get in town.

I try to order from restaurants during Covid to support local business, but this was a huge mistake. I know times are hard, but really.does the food have to be inferior? I'm still paying full price. The Cantonese Chow Mein used to be pretty good. Now it's mostly broccoli over the noodles; hardly any other veg and the meat was scant. The West Garden Platter was NOT what they offered before. Now it just has chicken balls and thickly battered small shrimp, a couple of fried won tons, a couple pieces of dry pork, and a couple pieces of chicken wings. It was horrible! Well, they lost a customer here. I can't afford to throw my money away like this.

2 stars due to the insanely cheap price. However I would not suggest this place. The last time I went the food was drenched in batter and only half fried. Food isnt very unique or appealling. Go here if you need a quick cheap lunch, not to impress your new girlfriends parents.

I always regularly visited here very friendly staff, did a wonderful job of how they serve the customers with COVID-19 changes, they'll bring you the trays of food rather than you getting it yourself to maintain social distancing

Price is right but you literally get what you pay for. It doesn’t seem like this place is very clean. Lots of empty dishes and dried out overcooked foods.
Saw a staffer eating something off menu one time and it looked delicious in comparison to what I had on my plate. Shame you don’t serve that!?

Have eaten here several times and the food is good for your purchase price is reasonable and quality of the food is good. Always have courtesy of the staff. Price has increased by $3.00 but still good value.

I have been going to West Garden Buffet for many years now, and always enjoy it. Although you don't get the variety that you find at King's Buffet or The Mandarin, what is available is nicely prepared and always consistent. And you cannot beat the price! Chicken wings, chicken off the stick, sweet and sour chicken, sausages, baked ham, and chilled peel and eat shrimp are some of my favourite main course items. Fresh cantaloupe, honeydew melon, and orange sections are always available, as are a variety of fresh vegetables.

Prefer West garden to the other chinese buffets. You always know what they are going to have, which is a good thing. We went for a small party. Never had any problems with any staff there. Pleasant with them and they are pleasant with you (like anywhere else). Wew were late for our reservation but they still held the table. Restaurant was nice and clean and incredibly busy, but there was no waiting for food.

1 star because 0 star isn't an option. Dinner is total waste of money.wouldn't return here if food was free. This coming from someone who loves Chinese restaurants

Great food. The lobby still smells like dirty old socks from the very old carpet though. The wonton soup tasted a bit off. The rest of the food was delicious. Waitresses were attentive to our needs. Reasonable price too.

I can say it was pretty good today, we were a group of 18, and came for noon hour Sunday, got the party room, and all the food was set out on the buffet, we were all hungry and it was good time

Food was hot and fresh. Promptly seated with a welcoming attitude. Have eaten there on multiple occasions and service was top notch every time. Recommend for small or large groups. If Large groups I would call ahead. Great value.

I have been going here the past 5 yrs or so and have always enjoyed myself.how ever the last 2 times going here including tonight just as I make it to my car to go home I've threw up everything I just ate? So I'm not sure I will ever be back.

Amazing service. Had a table of 20 and everyone of us could not have been more pleased with our service. They even joke around with you. Makes it a fun place to be

Very small container for a takeout lunch buffet. Not worth the 9.72, that it came to. I won't be back.

The staff was super friendly.
But unfortunately the food was cold and awful.they should take a little bit of pride in the food they serve to people. I’m not even sure if I would call that food. Nothing there was edible.

The food was nice, however, the cleanliness factor of the restaurant was sorely lacking. The table was dirty, the wall beside the table was filthy, and so on. They really need to spend some time getting things in shape.

Not great, food was ok, but the table I sat at had a dirty table cloth and the plastic on the table that was to protect the table cloth was dirty the building is old and needs some repair.

I enjoy the food, the atmosphere and the location. It is good, but the variety while pretty large is just a little bit lack luster

Always good food and wonderful people. I only gave it 4 stars because it is pretty outdated looking and the chairs are the most uncomfortable chairs I have ever say in.

Lunch buffet was hot, fresh and a large variety. Food was very good. Was very pleased with the quality. Priced under 10 bucks

Wow, what a buffet, no shortage of food, everything I had was delicious, and great prices, never seen so much food for such a great price. Worth checking out.

I have been going there for about 15 years and no complaints on my behalf, great food for a great price! The restaurant setting is a little dated but, I enjoy the fact that it is well kept up!

Exactly what youd expect for 8.50 lunch. Better than your average cheap chinese. Everything was to par and decent selection.

I think it's pretty okay. My grandma thinks this place is off the hook. She's from the Jello generation and you can tell by the way she loads up her salad plate

This place is an underrated and underappreciated local gem. The food is delicious, fresh, and almost unreasonably cheap. The lunch buffet is under $10 which is wild considering the huge variety of food available, including an entire section just for desert. The staff is helpful and kind and always provides great service, especially to large groups.

Surprisingly nice experience! 20% cheaper than the other buffet but had healthy food selection that we are looking for. Would revorecom!

Everything kind of tasted off. My husband had a bite of chicken and it wasn't cooked in the middle.
The waitress was very nice and friendly, also very attentive.

Haven't been in a while and I was pleasantly surprised! The crispy chicken wings alone were worth the visit but lots of other selections to choose from. Only thing to complain is the bathrooms could use an update.

Usually it's a good place to eat but today there was a hair in my shrimp. I didn't notice until it was in my mouth. Yuck. It will be a long time before I go back!

There is a large selection of food. We have always had good service. Every time my family gets to Brantford they go to West Garden. It's usually fairly busy.

Typical Chinese restaurant / buffet with good food, good service, owner seems very friendly. And the fortune cookies are free! Unlike at Oriental. No complaints.

Not bad for the price of lunch. Basic buffer favorites and some are on the more saltier side but otherwise decent. Staff are friendly as well.

Great wings, but the restaurant itself is dirty. Which is too bad, because this was always my go to place! The light fixtures are missing, and lights are missing, stains on the carpet, and bathrooms smell like sewage.

Best price in town for a buffet. Only $8.49 for all you can eat lunch. Some of the foods aren't the best quality but the wings are incredible and I always find many items I enjoy. They could use an upgrade on the interior but very good place to eat.

It's really good place to eat fresh food warm friendly staff and environment I would recommend this place to any of my friends
