Bridge access was closed since July 10th for tree trimming! Nothing mentioned anywhere on provincial sites. Drove a long way (from Ottawa) not to be able to see anything.

I visited this place about 5 years ago, I was able to walk down to river. This time there is no access to river, it's all private property. That was beauty of it. I didn't like my experience this time. Land beside Rivers, lakes, beaches shouldn't be sold to private developers. Public should have access to it. I was very disappointed

It was interesting, I didn't know there was an old covered bridge that close to home. It doesn't take long to check out the bridge but there are some nice motorcycle roads in the area that made the trip worth while.

Cute little bridge in a very residential area. Private property in the area is *very well marked. There is a small parking lot just down the road - not suitable for anything larger than passenger vehicles. Worth a quick stop-in if you're in the area - iconic for movie buffs.

Interesting historic bridge in a rural area. Lovely to visit as the trees are changing colour. A peaceful village for walking, biking, driving.

Great little stop on the G2G trail. Such a beautiful bridge. There is a little Park with a picnic table and washroom. Washrooms were really clean.

It is a beautiful historic bridge. It is located in a small village with little parking. We walked through the bridge and along the river road trying to get a good view and photo. All the beautiful park like area along the river is private property. It's residential and not at all set up to accommodate tourists hence the 3 stars. I wouldn't suggest this as a day trip destination. If you're visiting St. Jacob's it's worth the short drive and quick visit.

Great place to brush hands with the past.

Thankfully, a horse and buggy went over the bridge while we were there.it was as if we had stepped through a portal into days gone by.

Beautiful little covered bridge and piece of local history. Park on the west side of the bridge about 2min walk down the road. Don't be discouraged by disgruntled home owners, we use this spot to launch our canoe all the time, the property lines are publicly available for download if you are unsure!

Beautiful area for a drive and stop at the bridge. Would be nice to be able to have a picnic on the waterfront. Busy bridge and worth the visit

It is exactly what it says. A lovely old covered bridge. We loved the whole little area it was in. What would have made it even nicer if you could actually step by the river to get pictures of the bridge. The whole area along the river was roped off as private property. It made getting shots of the bridge damn near impossible. That was pretty disappointing.

Quaint reminder of a quieter past. Mennonite country is a stark contrast to downtown Toronto. Many l traveled with want to go back!

Nice spot to stop for a few pictures. There is a parking/picnic area not far away and it was a short walk to the bridge.

Great little side sight. Be careful crossing the bridge, be sure to take turns driving across as nly 1 lane. Enjoy

Beautiful drive to the historic Covered Bridge. As a child we would come here fishing A short drive outside of Kitchener.

A great picture setting for a summer drive which can be enhanced if access could be provided to the river. (The river side is private land and cordoned off) Wish the landowners decide to share the place.
