Just moved to the area and my wife and I have been looking for a good dentist. Saw this while walking by and booked an appointment for a cleaning.
1. I got my wisdoms out a few months ago and wanted the dentist to inspect the site. I brought this up to the reception when booking and she told me she will leave a note to have the dentist pop in. When I went in for the cleaning, I learned that the dentist was not there due to a personal matter. I would have appreciated a call before the appointment to notify me that the dentist was not going to be there.
2.the push to sell is on here. The hygienist asked if I wanted to do an x-ray. I told her that I had them done about a year ago, and I've gotten very comprehensive x-rays done in the past months since I got my wisdoms out. I also told her that the insurance wouldn't cover it until the end of the year. I told her that I can have all my x-rays and dental history forwarded from my previous dentist. She kept pushing despite me clearly saying no several times. She also kept bringing it up during the cleaning. In the middle of her harassing me for x-rays, she asked to do a measurement. I said yes just out of sheer exhaustion of continuing to fight off her sales tactics. I'm not sure if I needed one (again, I got it done last year), and I was trying to avoid getting additional services until I was confident that it would be my new dentist.
3. She said i was all done and sent me out to the reception. I realized I didn't get a flouride treatment so I asked the reception (my previous dentist asks at the end of the appointment). She said that I had to get it done while in the room and it's too late now. The receptionist was not very pleasant and made me feel very awkward. She had already billed my insurance company and I think she didn't want to do the paperwork to resubmit. I felt awkward and didn't feel like pushing back. I left with an even more sour taste in my mouth.
4. The receptionist didn't give me a bill at the end either. I realized on my bike ride home.
The hygienist did do a good job cleaning but the customer service here is very lacking. I was about to give 2 stars since she did a good job cleaning, but the uncomfort that I felt due to the pressure sales tactics and the other issues really annoyed me enough to deduct even that star. I understand that it's their job to ask, and asking once or (even twice if it's significantly overdue) is understandable. However, it is not appropriate to repeatedly ask when I have definitively said no multiple times. Needless to say, we will not be returning.

Very friendly staff, excellent genetics service, good advise from the dentist, and clean interior! All you need from a dental clinic!

Everything went smooth from walk in at 10: 30am to appointment 12: 45 for one hour and my aching tooth I requested to be taken out was done! Thank you westClair

Cleanly space, professional and very kind staff! Great first impression as this is not my regular dental clinic and was looking for a place closer to home.

Great staff and customer service! I hadn’t been to the dentist in almost 8 years and went somewhere different and felt like a cash cow because of my insurance. West clair dental has taken care of me and made me feel safe going to the dentist. I now bring my whole family! Highly recommend

The dental assistant Krystal is so so amazing. Super kind and took her time to throughly walk me through my X-rays.
Dr Vaez is also very helpful, such a welcoming individual. I need a lot of work done and she helped me to figure out the best place to start.

I had one of the most amazing experiences at this clinic. My boys and myself got our teeth cleaned which was one of the best by far. The staff was very welcoming and friendly and thoroughly answered all my questions and gave the best advice. My boys also got a referred for a specialist.

My go-to dental clinic! They try to minimize the discomfort and make you at ease. The place is clean and organized. Staff is friendly and professional. I enjoy my experience there. Thanks to the team for taking care of my teeth!

I have been to Westclair several times since last year for wisdom teeth extractions as well as fillings. In my visits, i saw both the doctors there and my experience was very smooth and easy. The doctors are very careful and thorough. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Thanks to the team.

I've been going here for a few years now. Hygienists are great, very informative, they always explain exactly what they are doing which helps with any anxiety you may have. Recently had an appointment with the new dentist there, Dr. Vaez. She was great! Appointments are are always on time which is a plus!

It was a warm and inviting welcome by Angela. The technician was an absolute doll and the Dentist explained everything to me step by step as well as sharing my x-rays with me…never experienced this before. They have tv’s on the ceiling.wild. When I was leaving a I was gifted a care package like nothing before. I have been looking for a Dentist like this a long time. Thanks WestClair Dental
