Westlake Watersports - Prince Edward County

We had a great experience on this tour. Our tour guide was very helpful and friendly, and customized our tour to our interests. Would highly recommend this to anyone visiting PEC!

Rented a jet ski with westlake watersports and it was such an easy going experience! The guys working there were very helpful and had a good vibe, the trip down there was super worth it! The windy conditions didn’t stop us from having a good time, very easy to understand brief lesson prior to being let out on the water. Parking was a breeze, and the overall process was very smooth and pleasant. My trip here was nothing short of amazing and I will be spending more of my time here next summer for sure! Great service guys (also, would recommend trying Tambo’s a 3 minute drive from here, delicious burgers!)

Update for anyone concerned over your security deposit: I received my deposit back in 5 business days! Patience is key

The staff were very friendly. The rental process was seamless. The boat seemed new and very clean. I would recommend this activity for any large group.

Skylar was our ATV driver for our Zip & Sip adventure around PEC and he was THE BEST, hands down! So professional, fun, knowledgeable and polite. We will be repeat guests, for sure!

They rented us a broken boat, said they would give us a credit, and then ghosted us.

Very disappointing

We made reservation for an 8 seater pontoon boat for today Sunday (August 6th) for 3: 15 pm for 6 hours - reservation was made 3 days ago.

We drove 4 hours from Mississauga and reached there at 3 pm (15 minutes before our booked time).

They checked us in, got the waiver to sign, took security deposit for damages and then asked us to wait for our time. We were sitting right in front of the cabin.

We waited till 4 pm and went back to the booking office and they told us that there has been confusion and the boat was either double booked or was given to another customer who were in a larger group.

We had to drive back 4 hours to get back home and spoiled out whole Sunday.

Update as of Saturday, August 12th

Been a week since I emailed complaint to the owner but no response yet. So I guess will have to take it up with respective authorities.

We enjoyed the perfect day out on the water with our pontoon boat rental from West Lake Watersports. The staff is very friendly and gives straightforward and thorough instructions. This is our third time renting from this company and we have had a great experience each time. We highly recommend their services.

VERY UNPLEASANT for EXPERIENCED Jet Ski drivers. Their sensor system and speed control is left up entirely for the system and not the rider. In other words, you can be going 50mph but if you're near another one of their machines, you drop instantly to 7 mph. These interrupt the experience and ultimately flipped the jetski over for me and my partner. Their locked compartment was not locked, and I lost my phone and thankfully hers was still in the compartment. They stayed ignorant and didn't care. Horrible experience overall. Experienced jet ski riders, never come here for jet skiis

We were a group of 10 who rented a pontoon boat for a 4 hour excursion. We found the entire experience to be easy and pleasant and we would highly recommend Westlake Watersports to potential future customers. The online system is easy to navigate and the staff are super friendly and helpful. Plan to do this every year!

The worst experience ever. This company is a complete scam! In the boat there is a map with with all the safe to park spaces for your trip. They show you and recommend you routes to take. WHAT THEY DONT TELL YOU IS THAT YOU IN FACT NEED A PERMIT TO STOP IN ANY OF THOSE PLACES. THEY ALSO DONT PROVIDE YOU WITH THAT PERMIT EVEN THO THEY HAVE IT. When the police arrived we called the Westlake sports right away. After 10 minutes on the line someone finally picked up. They sent a guy 40 minutes after the first call was place. Just to put this into perspective we were 3 minutes away by a jet-ski from the place however could not leave since the police had our IDs. Unfortunately the police didn't stick around that long and we received a 255$ fine. When the owner Warren’s son arrived we learned he knew all along the place was not safe to park without a permit, despite sending us out on thw water without one. At this point we wasted 1h of our trip just arguing with police officers and westlakewater sports. The guy said it was not his problem and completely disassociated himself with it. We’re never returning and you should never book this spot as well!

This was an incredibly unpleasant experience that I wouldn't want anyone to endure. The service was consistently terrible, starting with the company's attendants providing incorrect information, leading us to a location where a parking license was supposedly not required, but we ended up with an OPP ticket. Adding to the ordeal, the boat had a broken ladder, which caused an injury to my feet. Moreover, there were no instructions on how to locate safety vests when needed. These unfortunate incidents, coupled with the rude and uncaring customer service, made for an overwhelmingly frustrating and stressful time. I cannot recommend this company if you're seeking a relaxing and enjoyable experience. Interestingly, other boats that arrived around the same time as ours also faced similar issues.

We did Jet ski here for the first time in our lives and it was worthy. If you are lucky, you might find Jet ski available on the spot, however, book them in advance.

The staff at Westlake were helpful and soon got me on my way to fish West Lake. They provided helpful instructions and tips on the best fishing locations. Caught several nice bass too! They were there to meet me when I came back to the marina. The boat was well outfitted though the seats could have used some cushions.

They do not treat customer well and their behavior was very worst! They have the very worst washroom.
Few good things: Lake, Kayak and Pontoon services are good.

There was a mess up on the booking timing from my end and they accommodated and pulled through on making the changes to accommodate our group, despite it being a busy long weekend. Appreciate them in a bigggg wayy. They were willing to work with me to see how they can help to resolve the issue. The service, equipment, everything was great!

Awesome experience! We booked the zip and sip tour, which is a winery/brewery tour on a quad through the trails. It was a beautiful experience. We had the best guide Skyler, who was super knowledgeable of the community, and pointed us to the best eating spot. He was friendly and really made the experience whole. Thank you!
