I don’t want to give any stars but there’s unfortunately no zero stars, on Tuesday around 1-2 pm I was entering the pharmacy and I saw the owner Maha being discriminatory things around her Indian staff and I’ve noticed it few other times too, also she’s ignorant towards brown students too.

I spoke to pharmacist today regarding my Dad relocating to Peterborough and having his meds in blister packs and my options. She was so kind, understanding and explained everything I would need to do. Fantastic customer service

My wife was told her prescription would be ready by 3pm, but when I called to check on it, they said they couldn’t make it and she would have to wait till Monday to go to a different pharmacy. My wife was in a lot of pain and needed her prescription filled and Westmount failed us miserably. I had to race to Newcastle to get her prescription filled because I found out so late. We will never trust Westmount for our needs again.

Customer service has gone downhill so fast. Had so many problems here over the years, one of which being I was charged for an $450 IUD, to which I paid because I thought I would have to only for my doctor to say no no, I need to go back because they shouldn’t of charge me, as I’m covered under 25. When I brought back my receipt and ask for a refund, it was a big song and dance, and he said if I didn’t look so old, he wouldn’t have charged me lol. Today I was on the phone with them for 20 min while they tried to find my information and then refused to fill my prescription even though I had refills on file. Not fun

Very disappointed. Took a prescription in to be compounded and came out will lorazepam that were not even cut exactly in half

Westmount Pharmacy is a rip off. They charge the highest dispensing fees for horrible and rude service. They also continually have difficulty bringing up insurance policies, go figure!

I am now a customer at another pharmacy because after 20+ years of excellent customer service things have gone downhill very quickly since the new management took the reins. Nothing like the pharmacy it use to be. On top of that the dispensing fees are the highest in town. Why more? Is your medication better? Your customer service sure isn’t……

Call to ensure rx is ready for a dr appt pick up, Ensured by pharmacy it was.
Get there, don’t even have what was ordered after being confirmed. Worst customer service.

Absolute garbage customer service. We called 3 times today, starting at 9am to get a prescription filled, each time the employee assured us it would be ready, and by 4pm it still had not been filled. If you are expecting a prescription to be sent over from your doctor, insist the person on the phone actually have it in their hands before you hang up. They NEVER check email or fax unless YOU tell them too! It never matters the time of day you go in, you will have to wait at least 20 mins because, even though you’ve called ahead of time, it’s never ready! Save your time and energy and just go to shoppers drug mart! I fully support local businesses but Westmount does nothing to actually try and keep your business.

Excellent customer service for flu and booster covid shots. Staff went above and beyond to accommodate our needs in a timely and friendly manner. Thank you so much for your help!

Slow and disorganized. Call in advance for a prescription refill and they make you wait for 30 minutes even at the appointed time

After switching pharmacies because westmount was charging me over $50 for a prescription I’d get for free at shoppers an older lady called and and harassed me for switching pharmacies.yelling and not letting me speak. Calling me a liar about the free prescription at shoppers. Terrible customer service.

Between the owners unfortunate and untimely death, and now everything COVID-related that has affected the business, things are.slipping in some ways. The once famous huge magazine selection now empty. Routine maintenance lacking (e.g, burned out lighting, poorly lit parking lot at night), what was to have been a cafe that then become a flower/gift shop now closed and blocked off. I hope that the family who own it will devote more time to it, or consider selling it to someone of the late Murad's personality type; someone who will whip things into shape and keep it that way.

The huge renovation that was done a decade or so ago created the beautiful interior we see today. But, there were a couple of errors made. There should have remained a separate convenience store. The former one was popular and very busy. The postal outlet and former Country Style outlets were also very popular, busy, and drew a lot of traffic to the pharmacy as well. What is now the closed off former cafe/flower shop area should be separated from the pharmacy, turned back into a convenience store and/or Country Style location, with it's own front entrance. Westmount may also be a good location to establish Peterborough's first drive-thru pharmacy (for things like pick-up of Rx's that have already been called in). Such a drive-thru would likely adequately address security concerns w/ being open 24/7. Peterborough having lost it's 24/7 pharmacies some time ago when Shoppers Drug Mart stopped staying open at night. It's too difficult/problematic to open the entire storefront/pharmacy at night, but a drive-thru window would work. It could likely also be staffed by a pharmacy tech, w/ pharmacist consult by phone/video.

Great pharmacy, friendly staff and unlike shoppers drug mart they still have time to answer your phone call and give you a little bit of personal support/attention. This type of service is unfortunately becoming rare to find.

I had the worst experience here filling multiple prescriptions for my newborn. At 3 weeks old he was diagnosed with reflux and needed to be on an acid reducer. They had to compound it and were making it completely wrong. He would scream in pain and broke my heart to have to give it to him. I asked them to flavour it- you try giving your baby pure medicine that tastes like salt and sodium bicarbonate. They told me they couldn’t for children. I phoned many pharmacies to find one that compounds and drive 45 minutes now. My baby is so much better taking it from the new pharmacy who is making it correctly and with flavouring. Please save yourself the tears and go elsewhere!

We came here to get an RX filled for put 7 week old daughter. We were told the wait would be an hour, so we stayed in town and did a few errands. Came back a little over an hour later only to wait for more than an hour longer as he kept checking out other people. This did not make me a happy momma!
