Westney Heights Medical Centre

For a walk-in clinic I was quite impressed. Friendly staff and doctors. I was seen very quickly on a busy winter day.

My wife and I have been to this clinic a few times and I must say that we are extremely satisfied with the efficiency by which their staff go about their work and the level of care provided by the doctors. True, there may be times when the wait would be long but as in any service provider it would be helpful to find out when the traffic is less heavy. We have both consulted with the doctors and had x-rays done and are very pleased with the service. I would like to particularly recognize Dr. Donna Li who attended to both my wife and myself, for her understanding and knowledge of our medical issues and recommending treatment that has been effective.

I wouldn’t mind to consider ever more star above all. They have quite efficient individuals jenefer @ the front desk is so compassionate & understanding. I haven’t dealt with anyone to comment about. All the technicians are quite efficient professional as well.
Keep it up!

THE WORST WORST PLACE TO COME. Wasted two days coming in here only for them to tell me they can’t take me. When they told me to come in during working hours. Find other place they don’t seem to caring. Disappointed.

3 hours waiting time to see a doctor in a walk-in clinic is ridiculous. When we came to register we were told to come back after 2 hours and then we came and waited another hour and still waiting to see a doctor. I will never come here again.

If I could give zero stars I would. Absolutely the biggest waste of time. 2 hour wait time to be refused treatment by the doctor is absolutely ridiculous. I understand doctors transgression, but when you've been told by other doctors on what is needed to be done and still are refused is outrageous.

Worst clinic in the area. Front staff is rude and do not know how to explain things clearly. Today is nov 7th 2023 with health Canada no longer making masks mandatory yet this clinic forces you to have it on. If you don't have it, it isn't free you need to buy it. This sounds like a money grab by unethical clinic!

The Dr’s as well as staff are extremely rude. Before the Dr even saw my injury, he slid a prescription for OxyContin across the desk to me? ! I would not take them. Then he got impatient with me. And gave me the ex ray requisition.
2days later.
I told them I was Covid positive and they insisted I come in to get results. Of course I did not go in. This place needs to be shut down

I went in to see a doctor to get a prescription for amoxicillin for the strept throat that I currently have, was told that they will not treat anyone with a sore throat (there was also a list of other random symptoms as well that they will not treat you if you have). Since when do doctors pick and choose what and who they treat unless it’s privatized health care? Ridiculous.

Dr. Donna Li is very professional and knowledgeable. I would like her to be my family doctor. Many thanks for your care!

Came in waited 3 hours could not see any doctor as they had one doctor for over 10 patients.

Myself, my mom and my kids have been coming to this clinic for at least 10 years. We always call and ask when Dr. Donna Li is in. She is amazing and very kind. She is very thorough and very quick in getting any referrals. Anytime we need refills on prescriptions she calls to make sure we are all doing okay. If you need a great doctor, I suggest Dr. Li.

I was worried when I saw all the bad reviews but didn't have too many options. After going I have to say I don't understand the bad reviews. The receptionist were kind to me and all the other guests. The wait was about 45 minutes which is typical of any place. The doctor was one of the best I ever delt with, she was kind and took the time to explain the possible problems, even drawing little digrams to make things clear. Over all great experiences.

Dr Donna Li SAVE My Life.
Before I seen Dr. Li I had been to a Doctor that said I don't know what to do I have no idea what wrong with you I when to the hospital you have an infection somewhere no answers So I when to a walking clinic and Dr Li seen me and it was the best day she helped me in days I was happy.
She new I was really sick and wouldn't give up until she found out what was wrong with me.
Today I doing really well Thanks to Dr. Li.
So for all you people that think you have to wait it's a walking clinic what do you think you have to do. Selfish people.

I have gone to this walk-in clinic pretty much all of my life (23 years) and have been very satisfied. The doctors listen and provide the best possible options. They also care to ensure that you are update to date with regular health checks depending on your age, and are willing to do them themselves if they can. They also care to educate me on better alternatives/ solutions for my health in the long run. They educate me on any risks or benefits of my options and ensure that I am satisfied with our collaborative choice that is suitable to my possible financial/time/lifestyle limitations. They do have longer wait times, but it is because they’re good ant what they do and have such high demand. Ultimately it is worth it to me to attend this walk-in rather than my family doctor. The doctors allow me to present multiple issues per visit and are able to assist with each one with effective communication and problem solving skills. Special mention about Dr. Li, she is excellent at listening, caring for her patients, being personable, and providing high level care. She cares to actually get to know about her patients with the limited time available, both in regard to their prominent issue and in their general life (if desired). I will continue to attend this walk in clinic over others and my own doctor due to their wonderful care.

Although it took me 2 hours for my turn but I was treated so well by their receptionists especially Jenifer. She was quite sympathetic and helped me get an early appointment for ultrasound. It helped me save one extra visit to the center.

Honestly the worst walk-in I’ve ever been to. Do not waste your time. Always an hour wait, and masks are mandatory. They don’t even supply them for patrons they told me to go buy one. I’ve always hated this place. If you’re going to enforce a rule, it should be up to you guys to supply the masks at the front desk. I’d give it a zero if I could.

This place need to be shut down.
