To begin, I'd like to clarify that this incident took place at the UP Express station. Upon entering, I noticed several tapping machines. Eager to board the UP Express train, I tapped my card on one of these machines. While awaiting the train, a fellow passenger kindly informed me that I had tapped on the wrong machine. So, I tapped again using the correct UP Express machine.

Upon arriving at Union Station, I explained the situation to the staff, who were quite understanding and issued me a complimentary ticket for my return journey. However, in the evening, as I reviewed my Presto account, I noticed two unexpected charges: an additional +$11 for not tapping off and an extra +$3.5, the reason for which eludes me.

Seeking resolution, I visited the station today to clarify matters. I encountered a GO agent who, unfortunately, couldn't offer any assistance beyond advising me to contact the relevant authorities via phone. It's worth noting that I hold no grievances against this agent.

My concern lies with the UP Express station itself. The experience highlighted a distinct lack of explanations, signs, or assistance available to passengers. What is particularly perplexing is that I was charged for a service I didn't fully utilize. This points to a glaring oversight by those responsible for the station's system, suggesting a lack of consideration for customer needs and satisfaction.

Weston, located in the northwest part of Toronto, is a charming and diverse neighborhood with a lot to offer. I had the opportunity to explore Weston recently, and I was pleasantly surprised by its unique character and vibrant atmosphere.

One of the standout features of Weston is its rich history and architectural beauty. The area is dotted with beautiful heritage buildings and landmarks, showcasing its past and adding to its overall charm. The historic Weston Village area, in particular, has a quaint small-town feel with its charming shops and eateries.

The community spirit in Weston is evident through the various local events and festivals that take place throughout the year. I had the pleasure of attending one such event during my visit and was impressed by the lively atmosphere and the strong sense of community pride. The residents were friendly and welcoming, adding to the overall positive experience.

Weston also boasts several parks and green spaces, providing opportunities for outdoor activities and relaxation. Cruickshank Park, in particular, offers a peaceful retreat with its picturesque walking trails and scenic views.

In terms of amenities, Weston provides a good range of services, including local shops, restaurants, and grocery stores. While it may not have the same level of variety as larger commercial areas, it still offers the essentials and showcases local businesses.

One area for improvement would be transportation options. While Weston is well-served by public transportation, including bus and train routes, it can sometimes be challenging to access other parts of the city during peak hours. However, efforts are being made to improve transportation infrastructure in the area, which is a positive development.

Overall, Weston is a hidden gem in Toronto, offering a delightful blend of history, community spirit, and natural beauty. Whether you're exploring the local shops, enjoying a walk in the park, or attending a community event, Weston provides a unique and enjoyable experience. I highly recommend visiting this charming neighborhood and immersing yourself in its welcoming ambiance.

Nice station and all but it'd be nice if they were open during the hours that they have posted. The signs state that they close at 9: 30 however it's not even 6 PM and the doors are locked?
