Fantastic Fish & Chips! Westside has a variety of food on their menu. As a senior it was wonderful to be able to choose mini meals, Served at any age. Dawn was super friendly and amazing. Check out their fantastic Teapot Collection! We will be back again and again!

Nice as diners go, hasn’t been updated (probably never but it’s a diner so perfection) food has been great the 4 times I’ve been there

Lovely breakfast served, fresh pies, fish and chips, homemade soup of the day. Lots of parking, one wheelchair accessible washroom unisex with baby change station. Fast & friendly service. Loved the decor. Hundreds of teapots and artwork on the ceiling tiles. Prices reasonable. Will definitely return.

Over the many years we've been coming here, the food and service has always been consistently excellent. On our last visit we had the haddock and chips, fish chowder and Greek salad - all well made and delicious. Additionally, the young lady who served us was very patient and friendly, making our visit extra special. We really hope to come back here next year!

Excellent food, friendly service, good value. We were thrilled to find this delightful spot in the area. Everyone at our table kept saying how this conjured up the best memories of having fish and chips growing up. We'll definitely be returning the next time we're in the area!

One of the best places to have fish and chips. The coconut shrimp was yum too! They have a huge variety of food options. Loved the decor, they have so many cute tea pots. Also, tried there sample cheesecakes loved the mango cheesecake.

Westside Fish and Chips is our favourite restaurant to visit while in Huntsville! The staff are very friendly with excellent service. The restaurant is very uniquely decorated with hundreds of teapots and has an interesting family history. The food is amazing (we always have the fish and chips but there is a lot of variety) and served hot and fresh with ample portions. The homemade pies are worth taking home if you are too full to eat them there! We highly recommend Westside Fish and Chips!

I had previously highly recommended this establishment as the quality is great. We had just got out of Algonquin park and were ready for some fish and chips. When we arrived to the restaurant the indoor dining wasn't busy at all which was great. However, we waited to be seated for over 10 minutes which turned into them saying there was a minimum of an hour wait. I understand the restaurant is more than just dine in as there are orders to go and apps such as skip the dishes to fulfill, but turning away customers is not ideal for any business or customer. One star is a bit harsh, so I've changed it to two. Hopefully the next visit we will get seated and get to enjoy.

Went there for lunch on our way back from Orillia on a recommendation from a friend. Nice homey place, nice people. My wife and I both had the 1 pc. Haddock and chips. Very good, at a reasonable price. Will return.

Went for the dinner with family yesterday. We always try local restaurants. Great food and wonderful service from owner and staff. Had the haddock fish and chips and it was indeed delicious. Portions are generous, coleslaw fresh. Loved the food and people. Kudos to the unique collection of tea pots This is going to be our favorite local restaurant in Huntsville to drop in every time we visit here

We enjoyed our lunch. Had grilled cheese, fries and gravy.
Mini spaghetti with meat sause.
Its very mini spaghetti, kinda wish we got a bigger one.perfect for kids or to have on bread.
Still very yummy lunch.

We had Fish and Chips here for dinner. The Fish was super light and crispy. The service was excellent too. They have a nice collection of teapots and beautiful paintings on the ceilings. The following day we had breakfast too. The breakfast was good as well, especially Eggs Benedict.

The fish and chips were actually pretty good. Unfortunately the over weight cashier had a major bad attitude not sure why?

Absolute banger eggs Benny, French toast will slap your mother it’s so good, the pie is truly unreal. The teapots are dope. 10/10 would recommend

Tourist review here. Terrible portions for the price and the food was not the highest quality. Fries are good, fish is ok, and the coleslaw was not fresh at all. Do not come here.

Fish and chips was great! Slight crunchy batter, soft and tender fish inside. Chowder was nice, but turned runny quickly.

Excellent. Exactly what we wanted. We were looking for eggs Benedict, found it! It was basic, but it hit all the check marks and nailed the craving. The homefries were fabulous.
The staff was amazing. Really accommodating of our family's size, they found room for all 10 of us for a special birthday breakfast.
They put so much effort into keeping the restaurant clean and the customers and staff safe. Really fantastic! We've been before, and we'll go again!

Smaller portions (for the price) awesome beef gravy. Very friendly staff and prompt table service. Lots of parking in rear of building (near laundromat).

If you are visiting Huntsville and are in the mood for fish and chips this is the place to be. The food is amazing and the portions are great. This feels like a very cosy place which is perfect for dinner with friends and and family. We had both halibut ans haddock and both were great. Highly recommended.

Friendly, efficient service, excellent food (halibut and chips, with coleslaw as good as I've had anywhere) and a fair price. Bonus: coconut cream pie was deemed "fabulous" by my companion, and my raspberry pie was delightful.

I always stop by Westside Fish & Chips while in the Huntsville area I’ve never had bad service or food always a great experience sorry forgot to take a picture of the mouth watering pies we ordered for dessert Muskoka mud pie is by far my favourite but all the homemade pies are great

It is my second time dining in and the service and the food is consistent. You would never know if anyone here is having a bad day, because their customer service skills are top notch. They are friendly, attentive, and follow up with every customer after they have started eating to ensure everything is great. If you need something, you don’t need to wait long. They are very attentive to their customers. The fish and chips is on point. Crispy but not greasy. Gravy is smooth and tasty. Definitely recommend.

Absolutely rude people! They all had terrible attitude! We were two family with kids and did not except that. Worse experience ever!

Save your money and eat somewhere else.

It is Impossible to behave unfriendly to the Guests. I Think they forgot to look in the mirror tomorrow
When they get up. The guests cannot help, if the staff have private Problems at home.

I've been eating at Westside fish and chips since I was 10. The food's always been delicious and the pie is my favorite. There's just nothing better than their coconut cream. Thanks for always being a great restaurant! One day I think my kids will probably take their kids there too.

We were wanting fish and chips while staying in Huntsville. This restaurant was recommended online so we tried it. We were not disappointed!
We were seated right away despite not calling ahead (this is recommended during busy season-we didn't know).
The fish and chips were honestly the best I've had in a long time.
Decor is so cute with a collection of teapots lining the walls. Definitely eat here if you are visiting Huntsville.

Place is great. It has tons of beautiful #teapots in different size and look gathered from around the globe.
I had ordered #Fish&Chips - #Haddock & #GarlicBread. Both were super tasty.

My wife and I frequent here when we visit our daughter in Huntsville.
The food is excellent, homemade fish and chips; the batter is light and does not hide the fish taste. I usually order the one piece of fish and quarter pound of shrimp with fries- fantastic.
Other items on the menu are homemade.
For dessert, my wife and I shared a bite size cheesecake sampler, melt in your mouth - made on the premises.
I highly recommend this restaurant if you are in the Huntsville area.

Great food at affordable prices! Definitely worth stopping for some of the pasta or fish & chips! Be sure to enjoy a milkshake too!

We ordered at the counter and they brought our fish and chips out to the truck. The young man then ran, literally, back in and out with our tartar sauce - which we had forgotten. Super friendly and courteous, and our meal was delicious!

We didn't have a reservation but luckily enough there was a opening for us. Definitely make a reservation next time! Always love their famous fish and chips!

I gave a 2 star because right from the moment we walked in, it seemed like we were bothering the lady behind the counter. I ordered the fish and chips and the tastiest part was the spiced chips. I didn't find the fish that great. I asked for another glass of water and i got a look like i shouldnt need more water.

Food is ok. Didn't like that they serve you with plastic plates and utensils as it is not good for the environment. Service isn't great as they don't have have patience for you.

Really yummy. Would like a bit more fish for the price but that is fairly standard. Good service too.

I know prices are going up everywhere for everything so it is understandable. Westside is worth the treat!

We asked if the fish is fresh or frozen before we ordered. We were told it is fresh. It was absolutely disgusting, it tasted like frozen, very mushy inside. We had had fish and chips at different places many times before and it was delicious and flaky inside. Also the portion of coleslaw was very stingy for $21.

They have Patio with 2 tables of 4 seats each. Laundry Mat business and playground. Food was good - #6 Fish n seafood: Battered 1 piece Haddock and Shrimps with fries and coleslaw (half n' half) $14.99 + tax, and the turkey club on Rye $12.99 + tax and extra side - the half n' half $2.99. The price was okay for the portions which could have been bigger. Staff was nice. I would go back to try their spaghetti.

Have been here most of my life and never tried West Side Fish and Chips.

Wow we didn’t know what we where missing. Absolutely the best fish and chips we have ever had!

Fish was perfect! Golden brown FLAKEY breading, and the fries where the best ever!

Fast, friendly, fantastic! Grab the #6 Fish and Shrimp Combo for a delicious mix. The Club on Rye is refreshing, with moist shaved turkey, crispy bacon, and just the right amount of tomato. A new pitstop fave.

The on site playground, and laundromat make this a must-go for campers visiting from Arrowhead provincial park. Get a load of laundry in while you sip a cold one on the patio.

*didn't try the food, but food looks great from the reviews! * Walked in at 6: 30 (the restaurant closed at 7), heard one of the staff utter angrily "What? We close in like 20 minutes! " to another member of staff. Asked if we were too late and we were told bluntly "erm yes". Quite rude. Walked out and people were receiving orders still into their cars (so obviously still receiving orders).

This place is out of this world with their “off the hook” fish and chips. They were extremely busy but I can say that 45 minute wait was well worth the catch. The staff was helpful when we got lost looking for their place. I know the next time I come up to Huntsville I’ll be returning to try some of their other entrees. Thanks

Good family restaurant. Food was great with really big portions of fish. We had the family dinner and it was more than enough for 2 adults and 2 teens. Friendly staff made all the difference 8n our experience. Next time we'll try the pie!

Came here for fish and chips with the family. We all got the halibut and found it very fresh (which says a lot as my parents were just on both the West and east coast).

Great Fish and Chips. Fish isn't soggy and greasy, fries nice and crisp, not skimpy with the tarter sauce, malt vinegar, reasonably priced, and pie! What more could you want?

Fries were uncooked and chicken nuggets were bland store bought. Burger was very good but tiny portions for the cost

Environment even better than food, and We get the best service. I been there with two kids and they found park and good toys in restaurant.

The most amazing Fish I've tasted, tried all 3, Haddock, Whitefish and Halibut. The service was great and there is an outside patio with a cool children's play space. Inside decor is very interesting as well as teapots!

Friendly staff and quick service. Enjoyed the Halibut with shrimp and fries. Delicious! Finished our night with an apple crumble.

This was honestly the best restaurant so far at our stay in Huntsville. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The fish is absolutely delicious without exaggeration. And the best part is that they are super child friendly! With 3 of my kids under 10 all being entertained and saying this is the best restaurant! They have a swing and slide area outside, and toys for kids to play with. The decor is cheerful. Overall an excellent experience and definitely going to come back before we leave again!

Best fish&chips in Huntsville! Great staff as well. Get the "half and half" and enjoy the coleslaw. Bet you can't count all the teapots in there!

A nice little stop for a bite to eat. The fish is the first obvious choice. The breaded halibut was very good. The French fries are so/so but not bad, just not what you'd expect for fish and chips. Will certainly eat there again!

There's a huge of really cute and unique teapots, including some tealights too! Went for breakfast, staff is incredibly affectionate, making it feel like home.

Very good food, recommended grilled fish with mashed potatoes and salad or soups. Place doesn't look appealing from outside but don't worry. If you're very hungry I would take double portion of fish.

We've been coming here for years and have never been disappointed. The food was delicious and the service was great! I highly recommend the mudslide pie for dessert.
