I didn't receive any service from this clinic because online it states it closes at 3pm, however, they do not accept patients after 1pm.

Quite an awful experience. As new immigrants in search of a family doctor, we got a reference from the Ontario government and after calling them they told us to come at 9: 00 AM on Sunday. After reaching there, we found out that the clinic was closed and no one was answering our phones! If the clinic was shut why was the appointment given? Needless to say, we will have to search for another doctor now after this poor experience. Not recommended, even if they're expecting new patients.

The staff at this clinic were extremely helpful and kind throughout my recent visit. The nurses, reception, and Dr. Pejman Nourian all worked diligently during what appeared to be a very busy day. During all of my interactions with the staff I felt my needs were addressed. I'm glad I chose Westway Medical Clinic.

Sure, it can be a long wait, it’s a walk in clinic. The staff here are absolutely working their butts off, they are doing everything they can to get everyone the care they need. Dr. Norin is fantastic. I just don’t think the low star rating is justified. They are kind and hard working.

I had only a great experience at Westway medical Clinic. Reasonable waiting time and Dr. Pejman Nourian is the BEST.

Receptionist experience the worse, I’ve been taking my son to the clinic for over a year so I’ve given the clinic more than one opportunity. Receptionist is so rude all the time. Then the doctor have barely any time to talk to you when you finally get to see her less than 10 minutes most of the time. The final straw for me was the receptionist yelling at me in front of all the people in the reception area. That morning the doctor wanted to collect urine sample for a test since there’s not a lot of room in the reception area I decided to take my child out for a walk while waiting then it started raining so I decided to go back to the clinic, I can’t me walking in the rain with a sick child, then the receptionist started yelling- what are you doing here! Do you have an appointment! I answered her back and just walked out, I sent a message to the doctor about the receptionist, the receptionist when I went back pretended that nothing happened and didn’t even apologize. Reception zero.
Dr- was very accusatory why my son is so pale and insisted he is anemic, and insisted on blood work. Never once considering that my son is half white of course the blood work came back normal. I wrote this review after considering it for months. Find another clinic.

Wait times are ridiculous. Make a baby wait an HR to get into a room. You not only changed my appointment but booked me at a time when it is so busy. Poor scheduling. People are here to see a Dr if you cannot see your patients at a reasonable time then you shouldn't have that many patients. Poor system. What country do we live in.

Our children have been patients of the clinic for years. We see the 2 female paediatricians - Dr. Calpin and Dr. Harrington. The clinic is always super busy but they are sure to give great service and care. If one of the doctors is away, the other one is available to help. Their follow-up process makes a huge difference too. We also cannot say enough about their nurse, Seuranie. She has a way with kids and gets them smiling. If they are accepting new patients, we would recommend them.

The staff including the medical doctor working at this clinic are a shame and disgrace to our healthcare system. I asked for a strep throat test and they refused to do it. Rather, the doctor called me over the phone and prescribed antibiotics without even asking any thorough questions or examining my throat. He refused to look at my throat or do a strep swab. I suggested that they do the swab outside the clinic if they are concerned about transmission and the doctor said the nurse doesn’t want to do that.
This clinic keeps the doors locked and they make you wait outside on the street until it is your turn (which is over 1 hour) and then they call you over the phone and cannot see you in person or do any tests.
So my question is what is the purpose of this health care service and why are they funded? If a walk-in clinic cannot do swab tests or if they refuse to see anyone with cold or flu symptoms, what is the point of that clinic?
No wonder our ERs are overloaded as we scratch our heads trying to figure out what we can do about the ER crisis.
Well, let’s start with not allowing walk-in clinics to refuse basic tests or prescribe medication without examining patients.

Dr Nourian is a great doctor! He spends as much as time you need it and explain your issue. He is following up with patient and makes sure everything is ok. Highly recomended.

I was told I would receive a call and should wait in the parking lot because the doctor will see me after the call. After waiting for two hours in the parking lot, I was not permitted inside the clinic despite being told otherwise. He prescribed me with antibiotics before I could explain the symptoms I was experiencing. He cut off the line and transferred me to the receptionist. Dr Sebastian Gerome is rude and unprofessional. I waited for 2 hours for a 2 minute call where he did not let me speak or listen to my symptoms/reason for visit. The other ratings are an accurate representation of my experience. No stars if that was an option.

The lady at the front desk is really really rude. I don’t know who to to tell but her way of talking is not professional at all.
She started shouting over the phone when I asked her what time doctor will call me. She didn’t listen and hanged up.

Went there today and I was met by a rude stuff. Although the signs says walk-in they don’t take walk-in only appointments and they had only one patient and turned me away saying they are fully booked for today that I should come the next day but few minutes later when my aunt went they let her in without an appointment

The Westway Children's Clinic is fantastic. We have been with Dr. Harrington for 3 years. We have also seen Dr. Calpin. Both are very thorough with exams, great with answering questions and overall they just care.
The nurses and reception are top notch. Happily have recommeded theses pediatricians and this medical office to expecting parents.
I decided to write this today when they fit us in with no appointment scheduled when we urgently needed them too. However this positive feedback is long overdue.

Dr Pejman Nourian! Best family Dr i ever had, He is very helpful, caring, accommodating, he understands and listens to me every time i have been sick! He will call back everytime i leave a VM, Multiple times he prescribed me medicines and it gave me instant relief, He is a Healer, great human being and a Great Dr! It is such a blessing to have such a Capable, efficient, knowledgeable and Helpful Doctor on whom you can Trust! Based on my experience of 5 years i would Highly recommend him!

About the children clinic I don't recommend any one to go there Firts they are out of respect of time or scheduling it latterly like a jungle even animals hospitals are more organized than them.
Second the staff and pediatricians have no common sense making excuses I've been with them for a while i am talking about something I know, I went to other clinic and I feel really waaaaay different. I don't want to say too much if you are responsible and respectful person I dont recommend you to go there.

DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE. YOU'RE BETTER OFF DOING YOUR OWN RESEARCH ONLINE OR GOING TO A HOSPITAL. THE JAMAICAN/CARIBBEAN DOCTOR SUCKS LARGE. HE SHOULDN'T BE A DOCTOR. DOCTOR HAD A HUGE CHIP ON HIS SHOULDER. THIS DOCTOR SHOULD NOT BE PRACTICING AND SHOULD BE REPORTED TO THE COLLEGE OF PHYSICIANS AND SURGEONS TO HAVE HIS LICENCE REVOKED!

This place should be SHUT DOWN! The doctor does not do his due diligence to find out what your problem is. I had to do my own research online to figure things out. He was very argumentative. The doctor has terrible bedside manners and doesn't know what he is doing. If I could give 0 stars, I would. I didn't fill the prescription I was given, as I did not trust his judgement.

On the plus side, the secretary at the front desk was friendly, at least the one I dealt with.signed EXTREMELY DISGUSTED AND FRUSTRATED!

The receptionists are rude and patronizing. They lack proper training for telephone politeness and manners. It is baffling to read all the comments about this same issue and it seems the doctors are ignoring the problem. Clients call seeking relief. It is NOT okay that we feel anxious to call.

We live in the west end of toronto, they made a referral to an eye check appointment at $8: 45 am for my baby, I dont drive, and its on 1333 shep ave east, its -20 on the winter. We had to leave our place 6: 30 in the morning and had to wake my baby up.

The most unorganized clinic in terms of getting to one's Family practitioner. Staff is rude over the phone and do not care. Looks like they are just open for business for themselves as to taking g care of the patients.
I will have to change my clinic as this place seems not accessible.
Sad but true.

The worst ever experience with a clinic. They dont çare anything. They dont even open the phone or put you on a hold until i give up trying. It takes a week to make one call with someone. The recepcionist is so rude. Dr is the same he doesnt care what i say and just keep interrupting. You see my name above guys. Please delete my records i am not coming there again.

Doctors at this clinic really don’t care. I’ve dealt with 2 of them. They interrupt when your trying to explain they don’t follow up and they never recollect what your issue are and everytime I speak with them I have to explain from the beginning. Very annoying when your not feeling well.

Might as well come 40min late to any appointment and you'll be right on time. After waiting with kids in the car for +30 after our appointment time, they called us to come in. Except they didnt let us in, or even give any indication how long they expected us to wait outside in the cold, with kids. They truly have zero respect for thier patients.

VERY UNPROFESSIONAL MEDICAL STAFF!

We all know everybody is adjusting with this Covid19 pandemic, but to be rude to the people is not a valid reason. For the lady working in the front desk, please be professional and do your job accordingly.

Came here 8am in the morning being first in the line, called and got an answer. Then, everybody went inside and we got the last one. What is this? Waited 2 hours. PLEASE
Do something about this poor service.

Really bad place to visit. We went for a pediatrician and the experience was the worst. The value and morals that doctors are supposed to have for life, this clinic is all about money. We forgot our health card and they didn't want to see my baby, they were asking us for $80. Costumer service is the worst that I've ever came across in my entire life.

Idk who is running the place but just don’t even go! How is the doctor late for my appointment no one tells me he is running late then the appointment takes longer then needed. But if I’m late you will charge me but you can’t even apologize or show that you care for wasting my time. People have things to do same way the doctor has other patients. Yes it’s COVID time but there is no excuse to be this late the. Take about an hour to do what needs to be done when it normal takes less then 30 minutes. Customer service training is needed for all staff. Because if I was late bear who is you will charge me 50 and maybe tell me my appointment is cancelled.

I highly recommend. I always have nothing but good things to say about this children's clinic. Great reception, very friendly staff and Dr. Harrington is amazing and highly recommend her. I'm so glad I get to take my little guy here because I always have comfort in knowing that he's in great hands!

Dr. Harrington has been seeing my daughter for 6 years and now my 6 month old also. Dr. Harrington was the only paedeatric to give my 6 year old the proper diagnoses when others did not. Amazing and highly recommend.

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! Please save your time and go somewhere else!

I called in to see if my doctor was available and this Filipino lady was very rude and ignorant. She was having a conversation with someone else while I was on the line and hung up on me. I called multiple times after and could not get through. I think she was hanging up on me.

The receptionist is the first point in contact with a custoner. Therefore, they should be courteous and deliver a polite and professional manner. This was the WORST experience ever and because of this woman I will never step foot again in this walk in clinic.

Please train your employees because it is important to treat a customer as you would treat yourself! My 2 year old has much better manners than her.

In the end of the day I can't blame them 2.5 stars if I was able to give a 0.5 I would!

I just called to see how long their line up was or if there was one. The receptionist told me that they were closed. It is 2: 30 pm, not 8 pm like it is stated on line. They are supposed to adjust their hours on the website to state any holiday changes. In fact this is December 30th, not a holiday. Must be nice to be able to work any chosen hours that are convenient with them.

Dr. Calpin and Dr. Harrington are experienced, understanding, extremely knowledgeable and capable pediatricians. Dr. Calpin is our family's pediatrician, and we have been her patients (3 of them) for 4.5 years. They are fantastic, and I can't say enough about Christine (receptionist) and Surani (nurse), they are such wonderful people. The wait times are long, but worth waiting if you want your child taken care of properly.

The doctors are great; my son goes to Dr. Harrington but has also seen Dr. Caplin. They both know their stuff and Dr. Harrington has even provided her personal cell phone number on one occasion in case our son's symptoms got worse.
The wait time is horrible and it gets extremely busy which is why I provide it a 4 stars.

Arriving for your appointment on time and having to wait a FULL HOUR with your infant child before being admitted it's not acceptable.
