The venue itself is fine. Very pricey for concerts etc. But, the venue is fine. However, the food (Pizza) the display picture has this nice looking, thick, fresh slice with large slices of pepperoni on it (for about $13 with a tiny pop) but when they hand it to you, it was a disgusting, thin, dried out, cold freezer burnt, with small shredded peice of what was supposed to be pepperoni on it. I understand it's not a 5 restaurant but it was false advertising and absolutely disgusting. To make matters worse, if you smoke or need to go to your car for something, you are not " permitted" to leave or re-enter. For these reasons we'd likely not return. Very unwelcoming to guests. The excuse was " if you go to your vehicle and get drunk, were responsible" no other venue I've recently been to has ever implemented such a ridiculous rule. Stating " it's province wide". Guess you should just get drunk at the venue and sneak a smoke inside. Go to Caesars Windsor if you want to the freedom to do as you please and eat decent food. And pay much less.
First time going to the wfcu centre. We watched a sting game. Great seats. Great customer service. Everything appeared clean and orderly. We will definitely be back.
Went there for my 1st vaccine shot. It was a long walk and pretty confusing, but they had a wheelchair for me and a lovely and friendly volunteer to take me to the nurse and then back outside afterall.
Went for my Pfizer shot today and let me just say what a fantastic job all the people are doing there. Absolutely fantastic. Thank you for making this so easy and safe.
Went for my Covid-19 shot.very well organized and a giant shout out to the staff for being so positive, helpful and friendly during this difficult time
Absolutely Fantastic Thank You Health Care Workers everyone across the entire Covid stations security guards everyone involved did an amazing job today. My heart to everyone!
Amazing setup, The Windsor-Essex County Health Unit and the City of Windsor have done a phenomenal job with setup and organization. Very friendly staff.
Visited for my vaccination. The place was super organized. They have a very efficient set up. Smooth flow from. The time we walked in until we left. Everyone was extremely friendly and kind.
Thank goodness they have lots of wheelchairs and friendly porters. Very clean and organized, many double checks almost to redundant. Everyone was very friendly and very willing to answer questions.
Covid vaccine for my 91 year old mother in law. Beautifully orchestrated and a pleasure to attend. What a relief! All that was missing was the fireworks!
Watching hockey here is a blast, snack pricing is a little high but this can be avoided. On top of holding basketball games (Windsor express) and Hockey games (Windsor spitfires) this arena hold a variety of community events, their hall rentals are of decent quality and you'll get what you pay for. Parking during games is impossible so get ready for walking a couple blocks in order to get inside and if you're planning an event ensure you do not plan it the day of a game or you'll end up with a lot of angry guest. The arena has a couple of House league hockey teams, the dressing rooms for which are a little small but still a good size compared to other local rinks. The organizers of the teams don't often do much and teams typically struggle to find coaches and goalies. Based on all of this I'm going to have to put this arena like so: -5 stars for events hosted and event availability -3 stars for food -3 stars for the house league teams -1 star for parking/accessibility
Great arena! Ample parking! Staff seemed friendly! Prices for food and drinks are high but that's expected at a venue like this. Overall very happy we saw a game here!
First time here since it's been open was tonight (I know I'm way behind) I must say this place is amazing! Way nicer than the old barn. Nice large clean restrooms, good but expensive concessions and comfortable arena seating. Parking is a little messy but it's not terrible.
I went to a hockey game. The crowd was surprisingly and disappointingly small and reserved, but the arena staff was friendly and helpful. The concession stands were overly expensive, but consistent with similar venues that I have been at.
Great options for seating. Lots of extra room for younger children to be rambunctious. Bathrooms are clean and decent food vendors options. Close to other amenities if you want to eat elsewhere.
Nice center for hockey & other community events. Main hockey venue is very nice for OHL games. Wish they had a more viable restaurant on premises but probably hard to stay in business without off the street customers.
Saw a Spitfire game recently against the London Knights and I believe that we lost, anyway I had a great time with my granddaughter and hope we can go again soon Xcellent time
Great place, it's always clean and they have good food. I love being able to get a Tim's coffee while waiting for my son to finish his practice. The Spits games are always a good time for the entire family, go Spits!
I have done a few expos here for the 50+ event. Last year the event went great, however, this year they approved multiple events during the two day duration that I was there. The other two events caused a lot of issues as parking was limited with the majority of the parking lot being used for the other event. As well traffic was terrible and backed up approx 30 min wait to get onto the property. It was poor planning that negatively affected the event that I had paid to attend.
This is a great arena with many programs available for people of all ages. If is located on a large property with ample parking for even large sport events.
Okay, yes. While I enjoy the entertainment for whatever event is happening at the time; I come here for the pizza and the funnel fries *lol* These pics are from Multicultural Night at a Windsor Express Basketball Game.
Always a good experience when we come here for any event. The skating with the Spitfires is a family favourite in our house, but we get there for any event possible!
