It was a good place, it would be amazing if they had some proper craft beer such as from the brewery Counterpoint across the road.

The had liver and onions, which was a wonderful find.

Good food, overwhelming menu.
Lots of options, but would appreciate an ADHD friendly menu. Lol

Service was very slow but that is likely a staffing problem, not a server problem as she was dealing with half the restaurant on her own, Buffalo cauliflower bites were good though!

This was our first time trying this restaurant and we ordered in. One of the items ended up not getting delivered and once I got a hold of the restaurant they quickly rectified the issue and sent us the fish and chips! We also had the chicken parm, nachos, fries, onion rings, sticky toffee pudding and brownies. Great food and even better customer service.

What a great place. Lunch was as good as I have had in some time, quick and taistful. Our server, Mary, was a rock star. Was a very busy day and she made sure everyone was tended to promptly. Atmosphere later in the day, just as amazing. Looks to be a great "locals" hangout.

Really liked it some unique menu items, wanna try 'em all. Maybe the best Fish n Chips we've ever had! Great service!

Place was great on St Patrick's Day, Fish and Chips were delicious, and the Nachos were phenomenal, stacked high, plenty of cheese and topping, and not just on top, alot of places have a mediocre nacho like Casey's across the parking lot but this one was worth the review.

Great pub atmosphere, super friendly and good food. Fish & chips are good portion and the steak and Guinness pie is savory is always delicious here!

Visited Whale & Ale British Pub, and I must say that the ambiance was perfectly British as the name suggests. The atmosphere was very soothing, and the beer was served cold and refreshing, making for a perfect outing with friends.

Despite this, our overall experience was quite pleasant, and I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful evening out with friends on Victoria Street near Breslau. A noteworthy perk of this pub is that there's a beer store nearby, so if you want to drink more, you can easily buy from there.

I would like to give special thanks to Haley, who was our awesome host during the visit. She provided us with excellent guidance on the beer and food choices, and was very accommodating when we mentioned that we did not enjoy the chicken wings. We meant no offense to the chef, as the other food items we tried, such as the onion rings, fish and chips, and spinach and artichoke dip were all awesome.

Overall, Whale & Ale British Pub is a great spot to enjoy a few beers with friends in a charming British ambiance, accompanied by delicious food options.

Terrible! I ordered the brie and pear panini. It was not grilled like you'd expect nor was it warm or gooey. It was a cold sandwich with leftover turkey and a piece of brie and what I hope was a pear. Unfortunately it didn't taste any better. Disappointing for $19!

Great food for a good price and loved the atmosphere! Service was great as well. I had the lamb burger and my boyfriend had the poached pear and brioche panini. It was so delicious, we really enjoyed the food! It was our first time coming here and we will definitely be coming back to try the other items!

Great atmosphere and delicious pub food! On the high-end price wise for pub food, but will definitely come back again.

We’re to start with this place. The service is as good the bartender/ server was very nice but that about it. The food is as horrendous, undercook and burnt at the same time. 30 bucks for for 7 wings and that not including the tip or taxes. The veggies we’re rotten. The shepherds pie and hamburger tasted disgusting. Stay away from this place until the Kitchen is figured out

Excellent! Re-ordered our fave, Whale Burger, fresh cut fries, real beef gravy & a meal sized fresh salad. As always, did not disappoint! Highly recommend! Huge portions, freshly made, excellent quality & flavour.

Service was good, $24 for fish and chips, I thought was a little expensive, but overall a good experience.

Classic pub feel. All staff were helpful and attentive. Had simple chicken fingers, but they were very delicious.

Always a good place for lunch when we venture to the city.

It's a decent pub with decent pub food and a decent selection of draft beer. My IPA was great and fish & chips were decent. I'm so glad restaurants are open again. I've been there a few times now and each time has been a pleasant experience with good food and excellent service.

50 dollars for 4 peice of fish, fries were well seasoned, were good hot.the coleslaw is better then average, tarter sauce is really tasty but the container was half filled very small portion of tarter sauce.the fish is what we paid for and the fish was not special at all it was bland. The staff does not tell you the price throughout the order proccess. Once you tell them what you like they print you a receipt that has the price on itthat is a sham as they didnt give me what i asked for i asked for 1 large with 4 pieces and she charged me for 2 meals. Looks like they just want to make ends meet then have a happy customer return. For 50 dollars for 4 piece of fish and fries? Not worth it. I would not recommend, and will not go back.

Usually great food. I had the schnitzel parmigiana. The rose sauce was incredibly delicious. Unfortunately the schnitzel was shoe leather tough. Next time I will have chicken. Fish and chips is also a great choice
