Whiffletree Farm and Nursery

I bought a few special apple trees last year and considerably more this year. Compared to some bareroot plants I’ve received I find the trees are packaged very well to prevent them from drying out. They come with a care guide which is a nice touch, very useful and everyone I’ve dealt with has always been helpful and pleasant.

This year I sat in a long line of cars for a clearance sale and I was sure that stock would be sold out by the time it was my turn. I was very happy to discover I was able to buy pretty much everything I wanted - so a sale here is actually a sale for everyone.

I was most impressed with the attention and care every customer received. Yes it was a long wait, yes there might be better ways to do it but every single person was treated with respect. If they didn’t have what you wanted they provided suggestions and genuinely tried to make everyone who was waiting happy - customer service is top notch. It’s a long drive for me but one I’ll definitely make again when I need trees.

I realized I was going to be out of town for my requested delivery date. Sent one email and they shipped everything right away so I would get my plants before I left. Plants look great so far, too.

I have to write this review becasue I am not able to reach the company. I got my order in May without an apricot tree. They promised to refund for it. I called the company three times and every time I was told that the refund would be done right away. Two months have passed. Still no refund.

If you guys notice mildew or issues with your product, please please, don't send the tree out for delivery. Just refund the cost right away.

The selection that Whiffle Tree offers is great, the delivery is great, plants arrive is perfect condition. Problem is the variety of fruiting plants todays nurseries sell are all prone to diseases. You have to fill your whole backyard with pesticides just to keep these plants from infection. "Hardy, disease resistant", sure.

I made a small purchase with Whiffletree. The plants were well packaged, and they shipped when expected. There were a couple of items I had to follow up with. I was shipped a near dead fig, and short one strawberry crown. It took time for them to get back to my concerns, they however eventually did, and they were understanding and they were fair in their handling of the outcome, I will definitely purchase from them again, thank you for your service. My main suggestion for them would be to (if possible) have someone handle the customer service requests directly so they don't languish.

If you need bareroot fruit trees, shrubs, and plants, this is a great place to get them. Great staff, ordering system, and pickup option.

Love the wide variety! Simply can't find some of these anywhere else. Very well packed and great customer service
