Whitby Lions Promenade

It's a nice spot to go for a walk. You can walk out to the lighthouse. Watch the boats go by. Lots of families enjoying the green space.
Nice view of the lake. Often see people fishing. There is a food truck. Good fries.
There are a couple of portable toilets at the parking lot if you are really desparate. Enjoy!

Used to be much nicer but they need more garbages and to stop closing off the lighthouse area, enter at your own risk is good enough.

On a clear day walk a bit east and you'll see downtown Toronto and the CN tower. Pretty promenade by Lake Ontario, can be windy but a nice walk nonetheless. Free parking albeit a but tight of a parking lot. You can see the boat launch into the lake in boating season. Breakwater across seems useless on a really windy day.

Nice, calm and scenic place to spend some moments either alone or with Family and Friends at any part of day or night. You may experience a flock of geese floating lazily on nearby lakes. The waterfront trail is another attraction for a quick walk.

Beautiful park and waterfront. Always so refreshing. Feels so good to be surrounded by nature. The geese, ducks and all other variety of birds. I love going here for walks not only in summer but in winter too. Truly a gem!

The migrating geese and swans were A+. Their racket brought us curiously over from another neighbourhood, so well done on making your harbour available for their wintering journey. The lifeguard pole is a surprising yet pleasing feature; good to know that rescue is potentially at hand should one fall over the railing. (Don't lean over the railing! Don't do it!) Lovely, scenic, would love to return sometime during the day.

I Remeber every late night talk in the car I've had at this place. Lots of laughs, lots of tears, lots of memories.

What a great place for a stroll especially on a hot summer evening, watching the boats motor back in. But when I went down at end of June Brock Street was a tad flooded!

It's a nice park.usually I just parked here and look at the water at night it's pretty relaxing. But I walked down along the water a few times there are some benches to sit on as well which can be nice on some trees for shade.

This is a great place to be near the water and away from some of the business of life for an afternoon! Nice parks for kids plus a walking trail and even work out area!

If you are into Pokemon Go there are several stops and gyms and usually a few others playing as well.

The long shoreline of this area attacks many cyclists and joggers on the paved area! Many picnic tables attract families to have picnics on the well maintained picnic tables. The memorial benches offer resting spots for the many, many visitors! The sail boats in the distant harbour sail by, out into Lake Ontario. The marina is to the right of Whitby Lions! Large numbers of sailing vessels are docked in the marina! There are people fishing and enjoying the natural beauty of this place by the hundreds everyday!
