The staff are amazing! Very warm and friendly environment. I like how everything is explained to you before and during your appointment and they work with your insurance to make sure you stay within your coverage. I would absolutely recommend Whitby Smile Centre.

I’ve been going to this office since it was run by Dr Ranson, well over 20 years now and Dr Majedi has done a great job maintaining the excellent practice set by Dr Ranson. Jane is always super friendly as my regular hygienist and I’d highly recommend this dental office.

I had 7 teeth extracted which was then replaced by dentures at Whitby Smile Centre. I needed to find a dentist and a denturist for myself and I wanted to have the convenience of being treated all in one place. It was the great reviews that drew me to this place. It was also great that they gave free consultation and estimate of the work to be done so that I could make my decision to start my treatment there.
I have not been disappointed with this place. Amee the receptionist has been great. She's that cheerful voice you hear when you call and she is helpful, efficient and prompt. Sara Majedi the dentist is not only professional and experienced in extracting my teeth, getting impressions for making my dentures and making adjustments to my dentures but is also very personable. She listens, does not make you feel like you are being rushed out the door and always addresses the questions and problems I have with my teeth and denture.
Louisa her assistant, too is friendly, helpful and knowledgeable and takes time to listen and answer questions.
What a great team! This dental clinic gives you the sense that everyone is happy working there. Much credit goes to Dr Majedi who has created the warm, pleasant environment.
I have not had my teeth cleaned there yet but I have no doubt that I will continue to experience caring, professional treatment from the dental hygenists there.

Its just been my second visit and I am so happy with my decision of being a patient with Whitby Smile Centre (Whitby). The staffs are friendly and know what they are doing. Dr. Majedi is really good, I would definitely move all my family members under her care. The office is so neat and clean and not to forget the positive, vibrant and excited receptionist. Truly had a good experience and will continue with them.

It is called Whitby Smile Centre but I certainly did not leave with a smile but rather an unpleasant experience, a sharp jabbing tooth, a jaw that is in pain and a doctor who did not take responsibility for her actions but rather blamed the shape of my tooth. My tooth felt normal and fine before I went into this place. This review is not as a result of emotions, since it took many days of thought but rather a warning to others; the staff are nice indeed, however, they do not allow nice people to play in the NHL but rather people with skills. I went in for a filling, the drilling was so intense that I can smell my teeth burning, the filling used had a sharp edge causing a cut on my tongue, when I went back the next day, my teeth was drilled out of shape and still not corrected. I will be complaining to the regulating body.

I have been a patient of Dr. Majedi’s for just under a year. I had nothing but good experiences there until I disliked a crown that was made for me at the lab they use. The moment I said how much I disliked the crown that looked more like a potato and nothing like a tooth, Dr. Majedi took great offence to my thoughts on the matter. She asked her assistant for a piece of paper and took that paper and a pen and placed it on my lap while I was laying there and said, “then why don’t you draw me the tooth you want”…I have never been spoken to like that in my life by anyone. Especially considering it was because she was mad that I didn’t like the crown. So rude and argumentative. I will never step foot in there again. She lost my trust when she decided to be ignorant to me. The only reason I’m giving 2 stars is for the rest of the staff who I found very delightful

Had an amazing experience here! Jane, my hygienist (I think that was her name!), was absolutely wonderful — as were all of the staff. So pleasant and friendly, but also super thorough and informative.

It was my first experience with them and I have no bad things to say! The staff was amazing, making sure all the COVID protocols were being followed. The hygienist and dentist were diligent and efficient! I felt super safe in all matters! Totally recommend.

In my opinion, the most important thing a dentist should be is gentle and these people are so much more. The appointment was on time. The staff was personable and friendly. I had no insurance and they worked with me to best manage cost, even to the point of requesting information from previous dental offices.

I have two kids and they both preferred this experience over their last dentist. I highly recommend this place.

Dr. Majedi and her staff are all super professional and amazing people. I always feel comfortable when visiting for my appointments as everyone is super friendly. She's compassionate and genuinely cares about your wellbeing and does everything to help.

Whitby smile centre is by far the best dentist I have been too. All the ladies are so sweet and kind and genuinely care about their patients they do a great job paying attention to the details and only want what is best for their patients.

I have continued to stay with this firm through the current dentist Dr. Sara Majedi, even though I moved to Guelph almost 4 years ago. I love Whitby Smile Centre and Dr. Sara. Previous to this, I saw the same dentist my entire life until he retired. I was nervous to find another dentist but my grandparents suggested we come here and I honestly couldn’t be happier. Dr. Sara is knowledgeable and has a very gentle manner. All of the staff there are fantastic. It’s made all of my visits very pleasant, despite having some cavities filled haha.
It’s very clean and up to date. Super thankful to have found this place. I 100% recommend.

I've been going to Dr. Majedi since she took over the practice from Dr. Pearson. She is very careful and gentle. I've had good results with all my fillings. She did an excellent job of my bridge and recently recreated two teeth to fill in where one had broken. They look better than the ones she replaced! Her staff are lovely and helpful. Jane, who does the cleaning, has been doing my teeth for over thirty years. I'm always happy to see her. Ashley and Louisa are always cheerful and polite. I would definitely recommend Dr. Majedi and her staff to anyone looking for a great dentist.

Wonderful professional friendly. My family and I have been going here for years. It is a pleasure to see the staff and we have always felt well taken care of.

I have a small bridge with two false teeth. A small piece broke off one of the teeth. A call to the Smile Centre got me an appointment very quickly. I had a morning appointment to have impressions made and my bridge was sent to the lab for repair. I returned to the Smile Centre later the same day to have the new false tooth adjusted and I was very pleased with the quick response and the end results.

I have been here twice now and had a great experience both times. Very accommodating with scheduling and comfort. Would recommend this dental team!

I started coming to Whitby Smile several years ago and even though I moved to Peterborough last year I still come to Whitby for the dentist because they are so great. I appreciate that they do direct billing to my insurance and gave a courtesy when I didn’t have insurance.
