Dr. Awan and his team are a extremely compassionate professional group. I had a severe herniated disc where as I was bedridden, and his team coordinated to get me see a neurosurgeon, who was able to perform surgery within weeks!

I am forever grateful and so happy I have my life back to normal!

The most effective doctors office I’ve ever been to. All of the staff are great, I’ve read the negative reviews about specific doctors, and I cannot say I’ve had similar experiences at all. Overall very efficient, and quality service.

Very disappointing experiences thus far with White Rose and Dr. Awan. After waiting several years to find a new GP, I was excited to finally become a patient there. The office hours are awful; only open 4 days a week for minimal hours and inconsistent hours for each day of the week. After filling out the necessary paperwork I was told by front staff that there was a longer wait for a full physical for Dr. Awan, than a regularly scheduled meet and greet. I waited the additional 2-3 months for this appointment and after 10 minutes I was practically shoed out the door by my physician. As another client has previously mentioned, I too found it extremely unprofessional and inappropriate for a doctor to discuss his loss of funds for a client visiting a walk-in clinic. He seemed completely numb to the fact that he is a DOCTOR and likely one of the highest earners in his community. Further, it gives the patient the impression that their health is secondary to his pay check. After tests completed at another office, I was told my doctor should have results in 3 business days. I called White Rose 7-8 business days later after receiving no call. I was informed that a phone appointment had been scheduled for me at 4pm on the following Tuesday (now 10+ days later), and still didn’t receive a call until Wednesday despite blocking off a portion of my day awaiting a phone call from the clinic. I hope things improve here, but I have been unimpressed at best so far.

Having lost my former GP, I was relieved to become a patient of Dr. Awan. Not knowing what to expect after having such a great relationship with my former doctor, I can honestly say I am delighted with the quality of care I am receiving. Dr. Awan shows patience and takes the time to listen as well as explain. I am very relieved to have a doctor again and especially happy to have Dr. Awan as my service provider.

Don’t go there. The front desk staff NEED help to do their job properly, every time they speak to you, they make you feel stupid and inferior. They would arrange your appointment in a close time, then no one called you, of course, until you called them. They are so impatient and will tell you to WAIT. Excuse me? Then what’s the point of making an appointment time? Even when I was finally ALLOWED to speak with the doctor, the doctor’s refer request was totally ignored by their own front desk staff. No notes would be put on your profile, no request sent to your hospital, unless you keep calling them again and again to find someone who can do their job while I didn’t find in the end.

Nearly impossible to get a hold of them due to the fact their phone system seems to be a can on a string. My phone could not maintain any kind of connection while trying to book an appointment. If you need any services try calling once and if it doesnt work just drive there.
While explaining my symptoms the Dr. Cut me off to inform me that because I went to a walk in (because I couldn't call the clinic nor drive there) he lost money on his paycheck. Little regard for patient well being.
The front staff are super lovely.

It's been about a week since this review and the centre's reached out to me to address any issues which I thought was really great of them. They are working on the phone issue and took my concerns seriously. I have increased my rating based on that.
