Adam came today to help us set up our home Internet. He was so helpful and explained everything to us. He has such a great personality! 10/10 would recommend Fergus Wightman:)

After many years of being a wightman customer, they had zero interest in price matching way way better deal thru a competitor. I’m cancelling today and on to better things.) good luck trying to keep current wightman.

Wightman provide efficient and friendly service from the representative in Store to the installer to the tech support. Refreshing to have such friendly skilled service in a very timely manner. Incredible examples of what customer service should be.

Mike Garvey set our internet, phone and TV this week. We are so impressed at his professionalism, his manner and his way of helping seniors understand the remote and the latest technology. What a wonderful efficient employee you have Wightman!

Have had to repeatedly contact support for email issues, which continue to go unresolved. Have been forced to use a 3rd party email for critical emails as I cannot rely on Wightman to deliver my messages. Their default mail client (webmail) is totally unusable as it cannot display my messages. I will be requesting a rebate for the email portion of my internet package! This is unacceptable support!

I have talked to three different people each of them have been rude and ignorant with my husband and I. I was also told there was going to be a 6-8 week wait to get Internet? RIDICULOUS. We went with eastlink and they have been wonderful!

Good internet at a good price - had an issue with the 2.4Ghz and Cameron was about to sort it out promptly. Pleasure to talk to, thanks man:)

I have been a bell user for 40years.when bell said there was nothing they could do for a few years to fix the internet problem.there lines need replacing. I called wightmans a young chap named Zac came to install to house.the job took a few hours but worth it.best choice I ever made.thank you Zac and thank you wightmans for making the transition so easy for an old girl.if your with any one but

Although I previously gave a bad review, I am updating it which is long overdue. Wightman has been there to assist with all TV and phone issues and been very helpful since that first troublesome install. Customer service and the service technicians are friendly, helpful and prompt! Thank you! My family and I appreciate everything that you have done to help my dad.

Hi I’m in Orangeville and have recently been made aware of Wightman since there are fiber optic cables sticking out of my lawn.
Normally I would toss out flyers since I am happy with my rogers gigabit service bundles…which would be Wrightman’s competition in this area.

I thought I would call the number on the flyer. I specifically want to know what services are being provided. I like details like; channel packages, speed of service (fiber optic sounds cool but since you can throttle it this fact means nothing). Is there on demand? Can I get movies? You know, like I have now.
The sales person was extremely unhelpful and did not appear to know her stuff. All kinds of red flags are going up in my mind. If you can’t answer simple questions is it because you truly are incompetent or you are minding your words because of issues.

Well I don’t want to find out. If I go with the actions to date of the install crew in my area ; I have never had issues with rogers until Wrightman crews began digging up rogers cables putting the neighborhood into internet black out. I got apology from rogers and a rebate for that, but no such courtesy from Wrightman.
My lawn (boulevard) has had thick wrist size cables on it since last fall. You know I’m very particular about my lawn and I cannot maintain it. It’s unsightly. My personal main lawn (which is my property) had service location flags all over it. Looks like a lawn blowing arena.
I had to pull out rusty flags this spring because all winter they sat under the snow.

Are you guys gonna keep this up? I am not going to order your service for the lack of support already. I need to cut my grass today… so guess what’s going to happen to the locate flags? What a waste of time and money guys…. I don’t see an install crew even on the horizon. Why locate? Grass doesn’t stop growing.

Please clean up this mess. Who partly builds a service then pesters neighbours to buy it?

I was interested briefly with this type of sales tactic, but am now frustrated.

Call teck support had a problem with our internet and had a problem that a service technician had to come out and 4 hours later Zack show up and had as up and running in less than an hour oh by the way this was a Saturday morning unbelievable service thank you wrighman and Zack for getting is back on line.

Absolutely the best internet provider in the Centre Wellington area, period! We were with another company until Wightman brought TRUE fast speed optic fibre internet to Fergus. What a difference, no more throttled speed like the other providers, no monthly data cap so you can stream 4K movies while kids game and not increase your cost. Plans are lower cost than the competition. Plus all the local government services are using Wightman - township office, police etc. What does that tell you?

This review is about the TV only.

The PVR allows only a maximum of three shows to be recorded at the same time. Cogeco allows six-twice as many.

And I said 'maximum'. If you set three shows to record one after the other on the same channel (or one football game), that counts as your three shows and you won't be allowed to record a show on a different channel at the same time.

There are some straightforward software fixes but instead of addressing this major problem, the latest update added a distracting 'Live' label to the channel guide.

Miss a show? Wightman and Bell tease you with all sorts of content being available online. But after frustrating you with an endless registration loop, it turns out that only a fraction of their services are available online. And of course neither Wightman nor Bell bothered telling me that before I worked myself into apoplexy.

No wonder Wightman demanded that we sign up for three years. If it wasn't for my wife's unwillingness to go through the learning curve of a different provider, we would have returned to Cogeco.

They’re digging up to instal fibre cables. They’re leaving a mess all over the neighborhood, not cleaning behind them. Cutting up other provider cables even through they are all already marked. Irresponsible and careless of their staff on the community.
