It's a gorgeous close to the Victoria Day long weekend! A comfortable 20 degrees Celsius & beautiful sunshine for taking a relaxing nature walk in a City of Toronto park.

This beats being in traffic coming back from the cottage on the busy GTA highways, unless you happen to own a cottage!

Pay and display parking is $2.50 per hour with a two hour limit. Enforcement is 24/7 as per the posted signage.

Huge trees, flowers, Wilket Creek, wildlife, bridges and paved pathways zig zag throughout the forested parkland.

The only annoying thing are cyclists buzzing park goers on foot. Yes, we all have to co-exist in our enjoyment of this green space but mine the 2-metre social distancing rules.

Good place for a walk but can be very crowded on weekends and holidays. Also there isn’t much shade while walking unless you go into the woodsy areas like the Thomson trail but then there’s lots of elevation. Also note Gypsy moth caterpillars are quite present because of the current infestation cycle in Ontario. If you don’t like them, avoid!

Beautiful place. Huge variety. Great for walking, biking, picnicing on the grass. Leads to other parks along the Don River.

There are slightly steep entry/ exit points to get to the long trail of the park. But it is worth it, it is so beautiful to follow the water walking, running or biking along the well maintained paved trail. There you can see lots of wildlife, trees and flowers. There are also lots of romantic wooden bridges that help take you across the babbling creek. Additionally, there are many places where you can have a picnic, sit on benches, or sit on the grass and just look around.

Currently Southern Ontario is having a outbreak of an invasive species, the gypsy moth. There are millions of them feasting on tree leaves stripping the trees bare. I hope that this infestation doesn't cause too much damage to the trees and the habitat.

If you like my reviews, videos or photos creek your thumbs up.

Nice trail for a bike ride or walk. Super busy on the weekends, so you might want to avoid. Best during weekdays and early mornings.

Really beautiful place. Lots of bridges, paved pathways and wild life. Saw some nice squirrels, birds and ducks. The pathways or big enough to maintain social distancing. Great for families, couples, self adventure, biking, walk with friends, and walking dogs. I stayed on the main pathway but there are opportunities to move away from it and go uphill. Saw lots of bikers out and about! Very clean environment also. Little to no litter anywhere, which is great. Wish there was some garbage bins throughout the path however to help prevent people from littering. Overall really beautiful place. Bring comfy shoes!

This is a beautiful walk in any season. Creeks and bridges and natural beauty everywhere. And the paved path is a great bonus over any natural trail.

This park is really out of this world! Everytime I'm here, It feels weird. It's like someone is lurking behind and watching you. It's creepy but nothing really bad happen to me, so maybe I'm just watching a lot of horror movies. But sometimes you know, you have to go with your gut. Be safe out there, carry a self defense stuff.

Loved this place. The hike is quite short but the views are great all year around. I love the autumn views. One of the best in the cities and the place is very peaceful. It's right close to Edward's Garden

A great park that makes you feel like you're not in the city with it's nice smells, sights and sounds. Good to visit year round for a walk, jog, run or bike ride.

Absolutely gorgeous scenery in every season. Often too busy for cycling so slow down and enjoy the views

Great place to walk. Bikes are a bloody nuisance and shoild be banned. We saw one woman ride into an elderly woman standing on the edge of the path. No excuse for this. Too many pedestrians to allow bikes.

Very nice, tranquil walking trail. The only thing is there are lots of people on bikes, roller blade or scooters so you have to be careful and watch for quick incoming traffic. Would be nice to have a designated bike lane separate for it. Had to pay for parking it's $2.50 per hour.

Great place to take awalk. It connects to Sunnybrook Park, Serena Gundy Park and if you walk far enough - Edward's Gardens. Lots of people bring picnic lunches as there are lots of spots to sit and enjoy nature. Very popular on weekends.
