We often visit the store, not always intending to make a substantial purchase but rather to draw inspiration. It seems that for such intentions there is a pleasant laissez-faire attitude, which suits the quest for aesthetic pleasure.

In our smaller purchases, like the Rock dinnerware pasta plates in black or the Vine&Sprigs dessert plates in indigo and turquoise, which, to me, are pieces of art, we've experienced a subtle yet thoughtful touch – a simple but appreciated offer of a bottle of water.

The special collection for children, the seasonal serving sets of tableware, some interesting interior decisions, the thoughtful choice of designs and designers are the main focus of the place.

PS while our chosen plates were not in needed amount in store, a delivery from the warehouse was promptly organized.

I always have the best experience with the staff at William Ashley. They are attentive, knowledgable and keep everything on record and pull up my file so easily! The products they carry are exceptional but what makes it worth it is the amazing customer service! Recently I was particularly impressed with the service from Renee and Carolyn. Thank you ladies so much!

As a very young professional couple who probably couldn’t normally afford stuff from this store, we were completely ignored. No one offered service at any point and when we went to look at the more expensive cutlery, an employee appeared nearby to supervise us. We went downstairs and a very friendly lady helped us when we asked, she was the only person who treated us with the quality of service you’d expect from a place this nice. Had me second guessing buying from them.

Edit: a member of staff reached out to me and apologized for the service, they said they had talked to the staff present about the issue. They were wonderfully friendly and offered a gift certificate for future use.

I asked the staff there where the washroom is. Without any eye contact, continuing to look at the monitor, he said ‘by amal’. I didn’t knkw what that means. I asked again if that’s outside the store. He then said again ‘ya by amal restaurant’. I went out followed the sign which led to me a washroom next to disposal and restaurant/hotel prep area. The door was locked and says call security office. Very much like a public washroom. I have been to this shop a few times and this didn’t seem like the one I used before. But whatever. Went back to the store, bought some gifts for my friend and asked for gift wrapping. While I was waiting, another customer there asked where the washroom was and she was led to their own washroom inside the shop right next to the cashier area. I asked another staff there if this washroom is for their customers and she said yes. What? I was so upset. Did I look so poor that he thought I don’t deserve to use their washroom? What does he know about me or us (I was there with my husband and my kid on a stroller) that he treated me this way? We have spent a few thousand dollars over the past couple of yrs. I felt like returning them all. The other staff who helped us felt bad about the incident and offered some chocolates. Nope. This will be my last visit!

They have beautiful stuff but if it’s not in stock in the store is takes a REALLY long time to get it. I waited a year and a half for a set of dishes.

Claudia was incredibly helpful, pleasant, efficient and responsive! Carolyn was amazing too! I ordered a special gift for a special client. They arranged everything including gift wrapping and delivery, and even confirmed that the package was received by the client! This is white glove customer service on the front lines at its best! Thank you both again five stars!

I wanted to see exactly what I was getting (rather than purchase from a photo online) so I called William Ashley, where a very pleasant sale rep named Marilyn was kind enough to hold my item (the last of its kind they had on hand) for me. I went in person a couple of hours later. Marilyn was just as warm and attentive in person and had my item beautifully gift wrapped while I waited. I had the chance to look around this absolutely exquisite store. For an establishment that sells predominantly high end items, it is still definitely a warm and welcoming environment and there truly are unique and beautiful gifts for a wide range of budgets. If you are looking for an elegant and tasteful gift, I would highly recommend giving this store serious consideration.

I received my online order today. It was professionally packaged and the items were exactly as described. I have never received goods this well protected. Thank you for taking such great care, I am very impressed with your service from start to finish.

I would not recommend them as a gift registry when organizing anything to be shipped to a residence in the USA. Their customer service department is extremely slow and disorganized. I would recommend using a firm based out of the USA.

I had the most amazing experience at the William Ashley Warehouse location. Extending a huge thank you to Rina for her outstanding and exemplary customer service. She went above and beyond to help me find what I needed. A great example of ensuring customer loyalty! Thank you so much Rina!
