I wanted a Vitamix medium-size blender but wanted to ensure it met certain criteria. I asked questions by e-mail and received quick, thorough responses. I have not dealt with Williams before but wanted to go through a Canadian company (and not the online giant that sometimes sells knock-offs of well-known brands). The fact that the company is located in Ontario and offered free shipping were also factors in my choice.
I love this website. Their prices are usually the best, and their selection of brands is the widest. Whatever you can think of, they have it. I would highly recommend. Thank you Williams Food Equipment!
They show products “Stock” were it’s not. They need to order from the manufacturer so expect long or unknown delivery time with this company. No wonder why people are looking at big foreign companies when ours are behaving like that. Please just be honest with you and your clients and shows the real status of the product, something like “Special order” with realistic expected delivery time.
I like your products and delivery program very much. I am not a person who likes to repeat myself, spoken or in action. I gave up trying to get through “checkout. ” You e-mailed me to try again, though I was prepared to give up on making the purchase. In future you might consider possible lost sales due to your computer bumbling. Before I moved to next step I triple checked my info. I scanned my card. I didn’t make a mistake! I did exactly the same thing after your e-mail when it went through.

It's hard to believe that online buying could be so easy. I was amazed at the offer of Reid's Family Recipes. I truly feel like part of a new family. William's Food is now bookmarked so I can explore all the products.
Disappointed in customer service when items were taking longer than advertised time to ship. After waiting 3 weeks, part of my order was ready to ship and instead of graciously waiving shipping so I didn't have to wait even longer for those items, they told me my order doesn't qualify for free shipping.
Terrible customer service. Would not listen to the customer. I wouldn't shop again with William Food Equipment moving forward. Does not stand behind their products or appreciate customer satisfaction.
In addition, be wary of not free return policy. Please visit a site that accept free returns for brand new, unused products. I made my mistake.

I had a terribly disappointing experience with this company after purchasing (what was supposed to be) a high quality, brand new Lodge cast iron dutch oven!
Upon the birthday recipient opening their gift, their eyes were immediately drawn to the multiple chips in the lid. So disappointing!
It took me multiple email attempts to get in contact with this company and have the issue dealt with. The only resolve they offered was for me to return the product or to send me another chipped lid as they had 3 in stock and ALL of them were chipped. I was thankful the owner at least admitted upon seeing photos how terrible the shape of the lid was in.
Initially I was told the chipping is normal after cast iron is used and just needs to be reseasoned. Which is super frustrating as I am well aware of what cast iron requires, however, I purchased a brand new product and should not be expected to accept an unfinished or worn product and have to finish it myself. Such a disappointing and frustrating experience.
After a couple weeks of trying to get this sorted now I have to go through the hassle of shipping it back and finding a new company to order from. Long story short, save yourself the time, energy, and frustration and don’t order from here.
Mistakes/problems happen but how you remedy the issue speaks volumes of your company. I don’t feel like this issue was dealt with well at all!

I have shopped at William's over the years off and on and have always had a great experience. The people who work there have always been courteous and willing to answer all of my questions. Their product line has always taken care of my needs. I have ordered online on a few occasions as well which I'm pleased with their service with also.
I used to work for a company located near Williams, and whenever I was in Windsor for work, I would stop in to this store and browse their showroom. They have an absolutely huge selection of items in stock and on display - and it is all "better" and "best" quality stuff. One of my favourite purchases was a $15 corkscrew with a hinged lever on it. I have had it for ten years, and still going strong! I loved it so much, I bought several additional ones, and gave them as Christmas gifts to my siblings years ago. My most recent purchase from them was a carry-cover for my Ooni pizza oven. Williams was one of the only places in Canada that had these in stock, and their delivery charge was quite reasonable. This store is definitely a fun place to visit, if you are in Windsor, and you like "kitchen stuff"!

The equipment I got from Williams is perfectly fine. The reason they get one stars is because the people at Williams seem to have a real attitude problem.after making my order I emailed them a question just for clarification. Then I got a really condescending email in response. Then suddenly my order could not be filled until August and I placed my order in February. Ironically when I contacted their supplier and discussed the situation with them a miracle happened. Suddenly Williams food equipment mailed out my order right away. I will never order from them again. I don't care if I have to pay more to avoid businesses that behaves like them. Oh and the carbon steel pan that was on backorder is still listed on their site as in stock. Apparently they list many items as available and you only find out after the fact that they're on backorder. However when you get the email from Williams that your item is on backorder, it'll still be listed as in stock and on sale on their website. That's pretty shady.
Within the past few weeks, I've put in 2 separate orders online of Le Creuset cookware. Not only are the products amazing, the service with Williams was great! Delivery was super quick and online ordering was easy. Customer service was also fabulous - I had initially received the incorrect size (it happens) but it was quickly addressed with my replacement delivery and a pre-paid courier label to send back the incorrect one. Highly recommend shopping here!
The all clad roasting pan I was looking for was on back order for a long time but when arrived I was notify and bought it promptly. I received it in two days to my amazement and the quality of the product surpassed my expectation. So easy to clean, can be used on the top of the stove for making gravy without any discolouration. They also sell the Universal Stone cleaner which I used for years but couldn't find any more at local stores. I'm reluctant to shop on line, but dealing with Williams is very encouraging.
I got well stocked on necessities and found almost everything I was looking for. Very helpful staff who helped me find what I needed, and when I mistakenly selected ship to home rather than in store pick up they accommodated me and allowed me to pick up my items only an hour after the order was placed.
My entire family has been shopping at Williams for decades. Each and every time, we are treated with utmost respect from every one of the professional staff members. It truly is a candy store for anyone interested in cooking. Perhaps the greatest attribute of this store is that their staff will certainly find a solution to every cooking need, sometimes one we may have never previously considered. I enjoy every shopping experience there. As a business owner myself, I love to see that this business is multigenerational and I applaud Reid’s professionalism at the helm. We love Williams! Honestly, it just doesn't seem like this company knows how to run an online business (and, judging from some of the other low-rated comments, my case is just one of many).
To wit, I'd ordered a present for a friend. *Nowhere* on the site did it indicate that it was out of stock, and yet, a full two days later, I received an email stating "We are contacting you to inform you that we have to receive the [... Product] you have ordered in from the manufacturer at this time. The estimated time of arrival is late January as they are on backorder. We will notify you when your order has shipped via e-mail, and you will receive a tracking number for your package. "
Late January? I'd ordered expedited shipping and was expecting the item to be delivered in *days*, not *weeks. This is what's known as the bait-and-switch: offer a non-existent product on the online storefront, then claim low stock, then order the product in at the expense of the customer's time.
It goes without saying that I will never shop at Williams Food Equipment again—and I don't recommend that you do, either.
I purchased the Gastrolux Wok and am so in love with it. It really is non stick, food just rolls on it with no stick at all. Exited to use it every time. So easy and quick to clean, basically rinse and wipe. Have had other woks and nothing compares to this one. Very well worth the extra dollar. Best kitchen purchase ever.
Bought a home appliance for my wife for christmas, sent few hours after my order, arrive before christmas:) awesome!
only suggestion: you should show the estimated arrival time with the different shipment options on your website.the fact that I had to wait AFTER buying it to know when it would arrive almost made me go to another website where it was shown that it would arrive before christmas.but this is only a suggestion. Decided to buy it from you anyway and see the result and until now I am a satisfied customer:)
Williams is amazing to deal with! Great communication over the phone and prompt delivery of my order! They literally saved my Christmas this year by coming through with the pizza oven I wanted for my husband. I had originally ordered it with a more local company and only after I started inquiring did I find out I wouldn’t get my order until Feb! Thank you Williams! You answered the phone instead of directing my communication to email only. My Ooni Koda showed up in fours days. I will always come to you first!
On november 21 i ordered a hand mixer and to this day still haven’t received it or any corespondents from Williams. Called today to speak to a rude employee and canceled purchase her response was.wait for it.coronavirus.if you want items quickly buy from Amazon. Williams doesn’t care!
I ordered some items on Nov 23. I heard back from Williams Food Equipment the day after that they did not have it in stock (website day before did not indicate this) and let me know that they estimated it would take 2 weeks to arrive there and then it would be shipped to me. They did indicated due to"current health concerns" the timelines maybe further delayed. But that they would keep me posted.
I reached out to them on Dec 9th (past the two week mark) as I had not heard anything from them. At that time they told me that they were expecting the items towards the end of the week (Dec 11th) if not then the beginning of this week (Dec 14). Here it is the 15th and no message from them. I again reached out to them and their response now is "Due to delays these have yet to arrive and are still 1-2 weeks out". And offering a full refund. Problem is I need the items by this Friday!
Willaims Food please update your website indicating out of stock items. Common customer courtesy if you want an online customer base. In particular around Christmas time when timing is everything during a pandemic.
My experience with Williams Food Equipment is excellent. It’s their choice of courier I am having trouble with. My parcel has been waiting in our local CANPAR hub for more than a week. No communication about why it is delayed.
I purchased a Le Creuset licorice stock pot which was sold out everywhere but here. I bought it and at the same time I also bought something similar from Amazon. I am from Alberta and the Le Creuset came faster from Williams Food Equipment than Amazon. You have a new customer for life and I will recommend your company to all my family and friends looking for new cooking equipment. I actually returned my Amazon product once received and reordered another purchase a week later.
