Williams Fresh Cafe

I came in at 11: 30 to this location it seemed like the manager bald dude he seemed pissed unhappy didn’t let me choose what I wanted without being impatient kept yelling at the other employee I ordered a classic breakfast never got asked what toast I wanted or how my eggs should be done I wouldn’t even consider these eggs they’re super weird (look at photo) waffles are so hard it’s literally like brick hard.
Overall very disappointed

About a year ago there were 2-3 girl staff who were merely useless in their services and kept forgetting my orders and utensils. I was dining in and had to get up from my table and check on the POS line a couple of times to remind them about my purchases. Absolute irresponsible garbage experience.

My total came to 7.70 for breakfast coffee and a scone, I paid with a 50. Received four 5$ bills back and one loonie and a toonie and 30 cents. Asked for my money back then left. Nearly robbed me for 27.70. If I’m paying top dollar I expect top service and food quality. Sorry, but this place ain’t it.

Out of the Williams cafe this is the one with a limited variety of goodies and the service is not the best. We went there yesterday and as we were ordering, the lady at the cash register told us: “We are closing in 15 minutes and at that time I need to put all dishes in the dishwasher”. It was unnecessarily rude for her to make that comment. The other Williams are much better options

After reading several terrible reviews about the service at this diner, I decided to still give it a chance, and oh boy did I regret doing that. I came in with an open mind and a hungry tummy. The young lady at cash stared coldly at my friend and I we walked in. Usually, a smile or even a “hello” would be the usual greeting one would receive when walking into an empty room. We walked up to cash and asked if we could have a table (not aware that we have to order up front). After ignoring our greeting, she started at us for a few seconds before rudely saying “you know you have to pay first right? ” My friend and I instantly got a gut wrenching feeling - SO UNWELCOMING AND DISRESPECTFUL. We politely said we would look at the menu and let her know when we were ready. We left. It was so disturbing being treated this way after having read all of the reviews. There was not a second thought about staying as such an atmosphere is blatantly off putting. The customer service is simply terrible granted that I now can confirm all of the other reviews under this location. I would not recommend coming here, unless you want your day ruined by rude employees!

Came here a few times to do some work and the wifi has been awful. Would not recommend if you’re coming here to be productive.

I visited the Cafe yesterday and everything was great. I truly appreciate the great service and the great food. Small and very cozy.

Visited about 2-3 weeks ago. We planned to meet here for a meal but saw limited info on dining in, so I took a gamble knowing that they do have seating. The food was great as always which was the only redeeming factor. I was legitimately floored by the unwelcoming staff. It came across as if we were an inconvenience the second we were in the door. She continually made remarks they were closing soon in a condescending tone. We were nothing but nice but felt like we were trespassing - and this was all after giving her a tip. We cut our night out here short because they closed the store an hour before close listed online. I won’t return to this location.

One of the best cafes in Waterloo very clean, Friendly staff, welcoming environment. The sandwich I had was very delicious.

This is a smaller Williams, doesn't seem to have a full a menu as larger ones do. Fine for coffee and a snack.

I had a business meeting at this cafe and it was up to the standard. I had corn beef sandwich and it was by far one of the best sandwiches I ever tasted Thank you!

Loved their bagels. The gingerbread latte was delicious too. But the man at the front cashier was so rude that I don’t want to visit this branch again.

The cappuccino was very good, but the eggs were cold and clearly had been microwaved. The man who served us couldn't smile for the life of him and was very direct and borderline rude. Would not recommend eating here.

Love the coffee club, coffee quality is great too. Quick and kind service, highly recommend this café. Music is a bit loud for my tastes though, but this is just a personal preference.

Absolutely nasty how dirty everything is, from tables…cutlery and plates/cups! Health inspection is due asap! This is a complete joke how such a small location can not keep up with basic stuff. And this is why Fairway location closed!
