Williams Fresh Cafe

This place is a hidden gem right in the harbor nestled with the boats and a fireplace. It’s fantastic food. Bella makes handmade croissants, fresh every day. Oh my gosh you’ll think you’re in France very good food and a great setting. Keep up the great work.

Their drink station was closed and they ran out of lemonade at around 4: 00. At least they had a free water station.

You guys have so much potential and it feels like your just riding the wave of customers that come in for the location.
The menu is ok for what is it but the food is such low quality as the eggs taste like they come from a carton and the bacon is like low quality cardboard.
A location and atmosphere like this should not be operated by children and retired staff and run on a low expense budget.

Wifi has not been working for the past couple weeks so I haven’t been coming. Used to be my usual spot for studying and coffee.

Nice cafe! Friendly staff, only hangup I had was waiting an extra 5 mins for coffee, they got caught up on orders and forgot me, but quickly resolved the hangup!

Nice cozy location. Warm and welcoming yet doing what they need to do to comply with regulations.

Was great! Really enjoyed the patio with my girlfriend for lunch. Umbrellas would have been a bonus but nevertheless it was a beautiful day by the water

I've been to Williams a handful of times and always enjoyed my stay. This week I decided to go enjoy a waffle and cappuccino on the patio with my family. Upon arrival we were told the kitchen was closed (it was still an hour until their advertised closing time). Waffles were out of the picture already so we decided on cheesecake and a slice of chocolate cake. I asked if they make cappuccinos and the worker said yes. Another worker comes around the corner and let's us know unfortunately it seems they were in the process of cleaning their espresso machine so they wouldn't be able to make one. I ended up leaving with a really badly made coffee and some old slices of cake. We did still enjoy the patio and company.

11$ for a sandwich with the end piece of stale bread, took 30mins to make. Poor experience all together would not recommend.

Kitchen closed on a weekend, is this place in dire straights or what? What a shame the last place to get real food down there.

Food was delicious, service wasn’t that great. We had to ask a few times for sugar and steering stick. Also, when I took my water bottle inside at the kitchen, they told me to take it to the front and they should be able to do so, when I went and asked if they can fill it out, they told me to fill it out myself from the washroom.

A perfect cafe with patio for summers, cool breeze water sounds with great great taste of food, we have had some drinks. Overall I'd say the only best cafe on Pier 7

Great place to enjoy the outdoors. Service is beyond slow and employees seem to lack any sense of urgency.

Poor service and untrained staff. The sign at cash says 20 minute wait. After ordering a rice box to share, my wife and I waited 35 minutes on the patio. They brought out our coffees after 5 minutes so they knew we were there (most coffee shops have coffee already made). Finally my wife returned asking where our food was. The order was sitting on a table behind the cash. No apology, just handed her the bag. They werent busy. The food was cold so we returned it and left. Wont be back for more pittiful service.

EDIT 2: we were in the area and decided to get something to eat. While I was waiting for my food I watched the staff turn off all the screens showing the menu WHILE SOMEONE WAS TRYING TO ORDER! I will never understand the poor service this place offers. Once could be a fluke, twice is a pattern. It's also worth noting that their web site says they have over 20 locations, yet they don't post nutritional information on their menu displays, as is required by Ontario law for any chain with more than 20 locations.

EDIT: The time to make this right was when I was asking for a refund, not the next day when I'm writing a review. Every customer should be treated the same. By providing a different level of service to customers who complain, as opposed to customers who simply decide on their own to never return Williams, and by extension, Druxy's, is saying they care more about their online rankings than they care about the actual customer experience. My reviews can't be bought for any price. No amount of freebies or other incentives will ever increase the rating I give a business.

The food at Williams Fresh Cafe is incredible - if it ever arrives.

My wife and I went for a late breakfast around noon on a Sunday. She ordered a waffle and I went with a more classic breakfast. They gave us our number-on-a-stick and we went and sat outside in the sun to wait for our food. Ten minutes passed and my wife's waffle came out. Normally she waits to eat until we both have our food, but today I suggested she start without me since there was a frozen component on her plate. Well I'm glad I did. She's not a fast eater, and after 25 minutes her food was gone and mine was nowhere to be seen. We asked one of the wait staff to find out, but nobody came back out. We were forced to go back in and ask for a refund.

Their story? One order came from the drinks kitchen, the food kitchen was backed up. "We should have told you when you ordered".

My take? Don't send a table if the whole table isn't ready to be served. If you absolutely must send a partial table set an expectation when the first plate is delivered. When people are ordering make sure you inform them if there is going to be an exceptional delay.

Great location. We wanted to order shakes and food. But, due to no staff and only two cashiers (who advised 45 minute) wait for shakes. We left with a order of disappointment. Get some staff! Your current staff all look and act disengaged.

Waited over one hour both times in the last week to get a simple order. By 1pm they were already out of most food options as well. We are talking about 1 hour for a simple sandwich...

Service was terrible, cashier told us our food and drinks would be brought to us, waited for over 20 mins, went to see what was going on and the food was just sitting there on the serving counter. Ridiculous.

Nice location, staff were fairly courteous but the real stand out was the service. It was HORRENDOUS - the waffles came right away but the rest of the food - well over an hour wait - some of it was warm, some of it was cold. No excuse accepted - it was a Wednesday and not that busy. IF I go back it would be just for the location and I certainly would only be ordering stuff I can carry out to the patio.

Williams closes at 11 pm and I placed an order of their Turkey Waldorf Wrap at 9: 50 pm and I was told they couldn't make the wrap due to the kitchen was closed. Over an hour before they close? Hmmm.been here many times and ordered from the kitchen a half hour before closing and never have had a problem before. Can you say lazy staff? Oh and on top of that, I order a slice of cake and asked for a second fork, so I could share the cake with me girlfriend and was given a plastic fork after being given silverware as my first fork. Can you say getto?

Went here this morning with some friends. The only good thing here is the fresh air and the view. Ordered classic breakfast, egg is fake and the bacon is half-cooked. The tall lady server is rude. Atleast the tall guy at the drink station is a bit nicer and cheerful.

Service was incredibly slow, both at the counter and waiting for the food. We had a breakfast: the scrambled eggs were as tough as leather and obviously cooked in a microwave. The bacon was probably cooked in a microwave too. Very disappointing.

Went for breakfast this morning. The service is slow, by the time the food came my coffee was finished and they don't offer a refill. The scrambled eggs were like rubber and the bacon was half cooked. I had to ask for jam for the toast. I won't be back in a hurry.

The staff at this location all act like you the customer are a burden on them. They all have the worst attitude, consistently make orders wrong and pick and choose when they are going to serve basic coffee shop items like lates and mochas. I strongly encourage grabbing coffees elsewhere before visting west harbour. The owners should try employing adults instead of kids who hate their lives because they have a summer job.

Wonderful location. Food and service is ok. Overpriced. Should have added service is slow and hot food by the time it gets to you is anything but. They need to hire more staff.

Good lattes, and desserts, bit pricey, you pay for the view of the lake I guess? It is quite beautiful at sunset.

Ordered (via Uber Eats) an Avocado BLT, an iced frappe, and a bottle of grenadine. My $9 avocado BLT arrived with not avocado and they completely forgot the grenadine. This place charges way too much for this poor level of service, will not be ordering from this location again.

Worst experience I've ever had. The staff were rude and discourteous. I've never felt this humiliated. I will never be coming back.neither will any of my closest friends.

Nice location on the water. Currently surrounded by construction in November 2020 making it hard to get to. Persevering is worth it. Free WiFi too.

Salad was good. Washrooms clean. Bees were an issue but that just happens in September when you eat outside

I love ordering from here when working.the food tastes like it is made with fresh ingredients, also tastes wholesome which is important to me. My favorites include their red pepper soup, the avocado egg and bacon bagel, and their ice tea.thanks for the yummy and clean food

We've been to the harbourfront many times. The location is beautiful- one of the nicest places in the city. Unfortunately the quality of the food has gone downhill. It was edible, not good. The staff were very nice.

Long line food is ok. Ariving with a boat that was only choice. But patio and being close to boat is big plus

Food is good, I like that you order at counter and they bring the food to you. They need a better system for ensuring tables have been sanitized between customers. Food is a bit overpriced.

Last week we ordered food and they forgot my wifes wedges. This week they forgot my soup. Not impressed.

I love William's. I go there often with friends. I ALWAYS get a waffle, EXCEPT their salted caramel waffle. All salt barely any caramel. They really need to rethink that flavor combo and their execution of it.

If you want to go out and celebrate post Covid -19 outdoor life, don't go to Williams. Tasteless food. Absolutely opposite of what is in the menu, not very clean. Sorry but this is what we have experienced three times in a row. I am done with Williams.

Going down to the Hamilton Harbour is a must.

For about $20.00 you can get something nice to eat.

They have done a re-development in the area and is a really nice venue.

Lovely place but the washrooms were very dirty. Not good during this terrible time with Covid 19

The view was great, and food was not bad. But the service was not that great. I'll probably pack my food and come by the lake next time

I ordered a Chicken and bacon mac n cheese based on a picture of the display, It was showing a plate with a good amount of food, almost the same size they have for salad bowls. Unfortunately, I got a standard soup-size mac n cheese that didn’t full me up at all. Don’t recommend it! The portion is not worth the price.
