The receptionist can be occasionally indifferent, but overall, they're quite nice. On the other hand, Dr. Shakib is an exceptionally professional and caring family physician who has been taking care of us for six years since we migrated here. He consistently addresses our health concerns and prescribes appropriate medications. Dr. Shakib creates an open environment where I can discuss mental health problems without judgment. He prioritizes treating underlying health issues first, ensuring a comprehensive approach to care.

The Doctor Manijeh Hasanzadeh in this clinic is an expert physician with expertise knowledge and she is so kind to patients. I appreciate her work and honor has she as my family doctor.

Very poor and substandard customer service. The staff are quite unfriendly and showing attitude towards customers.
Very late test results. If you are looking for a family physician, I recommend you to go somewhere else.

Dr Shakib was very friendly and professional but the receptionist was very rude and unprofessional. I would not ruin the reputation of my clinic with hiring inexperienced and unfriendly receptionists.

Didn't mind them when I used them but now trying to access my medical records and am having issues.

Also I requested a call back (twice) via their automated phone system and haven't received a call back.

No point making an appointment. They told me there were 2 people in front of me and I watched countless people just walk in after me and go ahead

The doctors here are good but you can’t waste your time when you cannot get a hold to talk to anyone there they don’t even call you back and if you are lucky to book an appointment you have to calculate to sit there waiting for about one hour or more. I had had so much pain in my lower stomach that i went to a hospital emergency, After a week i have came to visit my family doctor who is Dr Shakib and he was fully booked so they told me to come and see another doctor in clinic Dr Hassanzadeh, she told me i need a kidney ultrasound and she will fax my requisition to the radiology clinic i’ve done X ray before but she didn’t fax it. Nnow, I’ve been trying to reach them to fax my requisition again so I can book an appointment but no one is answering or calling me back for a week now, I can’t drive or walk because of the pain and I don’t know what else can I do, I might want to just switch to another family doctor in somewhere else

They have biiiiiiiiiiig phone problem! They never answer! They have call back option but they never call you back! Doctor shakib is an amazing doctor but he really needs to reconsider his staff starting receptionists!

I called and emailed to confirm whether or not their FAMILY DOCTOR is accepting clients - NOT WALK IN CLINIC. They confirmed and set me up for an intake. When I appeared and requested a family doc, and provided my medication list (including medication for my mental health) they changed their mind and said they only operate as a walk-in clinic. THE GASLIGHTING AND DISCRIMINATION IS REAL HERE. DO NOT go to this clinic if you want to be disrespected and turned away because you might need a bit more help than others. I am planning to file a discrimination complaint against this clinic, attempted to call the manager asking them to call me back to discuss this issue, and they avoided me like the plague, never called me back. I expressed my frustration to the receptionist and what she said is, "The doctors here get to pick and choose who their patients are". Is that not discrimination? If you are taking patients, you cannot decide who is worth taking on and who isn't. It needs to be equitable. I see that others are also having a horrible experience, and it is very clear why their 2.1 rating exists. It should be ZERO STARS.

The most disrespectful and disgusting receptionist that I ever spoke with.called couple of days and couldn’t get a hold of anyone to make an appointment, finally made an appointment through WhatsApp.when visited, the receptionist was rude at the first place and asked to sit and wait.she was busy with herself, playing with her hairs not responding to anyone and if anyone wants to talk to her, she was rude and not responsive.shame on her and her customer service. I will definitely file an official complaint against them!

I have been going here for nearly 4 years for regular appointments and always receive great care. Doctor Alireza is a fantastic medical professional who always makes me feel at ease and thoroughly explains all my options and any procedures. Writing good review also for front desk, who always being positive and friendly attitude.

Although sometimes it’s tough to set early appointments, the only reason that my husband and I visit this clinic is Dr Shakib.he is very professional, patient and respectful.

This clinic is a SCAM! They onboard you as family doctors and there is NO way of contacting them. They don't answer calls, they don't call back, they don't respond emails.

Very unprofessional service dont go there if you want to waste money and time! They are scammers!

Very rude staff, They charge their client for every little things, specially iranian new comers.

Unfortunately, Dr. Aslahi is very angry and does not treat the patient well, and she sent the wrong note to my specialist doctor. But Dr. Shakib and Dr. Baghaei are very skilled and well-behaved with the patient.

Avoid this location. Long wait to see the doctor. For virtual appointments they dont give you a time, on the day of your appointment, you have to be available by your phone all day and if you miss the call you missed your appointment so you have to call again and rebook

Receptionist hung up on me. I’ve had bad experiences over the years with this office but this is jt. I was just released from the hospital and was advised that I need to see my family doctor (Dr Shakib) ASAP to go to a specialist. I called for over an hour with no answer (and they have no voicemail). Once I finally got through, the horrible receptionist (working on Friday, Jan 7) insisted that I can’t make an appt with an actual time, and rather insisted I come in as a walk-in TO MY FAMILY DOCTOR. When I told her that’s ridiculous and I want an appointment with my family doctor, she HUNG UP ON ME. What kind of practice is this? Based on the other reviews, this is a serious problem.

Unfortunately, Dr. Aslahi is impatient and angery, and ignores the sick and hurried and does not have a proper tone of speech. Dr. Baqaei and Shakib are very patient and respectful.

Horrible receptionist

Horrible receptionist – (who works on Friday evening December 17,2021) extremely rude, unprofessional and just appalling. Acts as if the practice is her own. Decides on her own which of her patients gets access to the Doctor and those who do not. She is equally unhelpful, argumentative, uncaring and so impolitely, rude rude rude

The doctor (doctor shak**) asked me for 2000$ to sign my own current document, that's ridiculous,
He never called me back to talk about my issues! Even about an important problem like HIGH LDL, I don't wanna talk about regular check up (I bet you never heard about that).
you and your team and all the office members have the worst client support. I wish I could give you zero star, you have to close that office, such a shame for you and all of your crew!

No respectful and they are not even answering the phone call. I’m so sick today and called many times to get appointment with my “family doctor “ which is their responsibility to be available for me and answering my call I don’t what those lady’s behind the table do there and they didn’t answer my call and I’ll change my family doctor asap and don’t go here they are not good you can find a so many better family doctor in Toronto.

Arguably the worst walk in clinic in this city. Wait times are absolutely atrocious. The staff are not helpful. Terrible experience. The only saving grace is its location.

No respect and even minimum care to patients. They don’t answer the phone nor you can leave a message. I was in complete limbo and then decided to go there in person yesterday early afternoon. I was not feeling well l, in pain and really in need of help. I was very kindly and respectfully asked the receptionist if she could just let me get visited by their doctor as I was walking in very hot weather from home all the way to the clinic. Even though there were two other patients waiting and she simply told me that “we are closing”.

I called at 10am to see if I could see a dr the same day. I was told there were no appointments but to come after 2pm. I arrived just before 230pm. I watched 7 people arrive after me and get seen before me. At 4pm I asked how much longer Im going to be here waiting, the receptionist asked for my name and said she didn't know as the previous receptionist never told her anything and my appointment was scheduled for 320?
I am absolutely infuriated by this experience and will not be returning again. So unprofessional and zero concern for customer service!
I ended up leaving at 430 without ever seeing a doctor. Complete waste of my afternoon.

Worst customer service ever Dr shakib is trying to charge you for free stuff which i believe is illegal and very unethical, all he think is money, money, money.
He has no respect for his patients and all he wants is to charge his patients for nothing.
I tried to get child vaccinations record for my daughter, he told me you have to pay $60 for that, what a scam.
When I told his secretary that it's must be free and every where is free (canada wide) they gave it to me for free, which is always free.
He is trying to trick new comers and new people with lack of proper knowledge of their rights and their OHIP cards and abuse them by charging them extra money which he only accepts in cash. (black)

This is a "business center" rather than a medical clinic! Lacks every aspects of knowledge field and professionalism.

I’ve been going here for a long time, and I get more disappointed every time.the staff are not professional and not organized.
I confirmed an appointment with them and when I called them the week after, they said there has been no appointment under my name.

Do not recommend this place beside waiting for over an hour with booking appointment a week before, receptionist are not friendly, also they are very RUDE and disorganized with appointments. I try to call 6 times before making my over. NO one answered. I wish I can give them less than 1 star.

I had an appointment with Dr. Shakib today at 17: 10. I arrived 10 minutes earlier than my appointment and I was told by the secretary, there are 4 people infront of me as walk-ins and she doesn't know who gave the 17: 10 spot to me. I am a frontliner, I am tired of my morning shift and suffering from a bad asthma attacks. I had a virtual visit by Dr. Shakib two weeks earlier but it did not help me, really needed to see him. Anyway the tired me just grabbed my OHIP card from her hand and left the clinic. Is it really too much to ask to value your patients time or energy?

They don't even pick my call up! I try to reach them by phone many times but no service! Wanted to see dr. Shakih.

I like dr.fouladi works in this clinic.she is very nice and experienced. She is the only reason that I go to this clinic. Unfortunately, the receptionists are not very professional and their costumer service is really weak!

I have been trying to see my family dr for the last three days and no use. Even in the evenings they close registration at 7: 30. The receptionists are very rude. Of course i will be looking for another options. Worst service I have ever experienced in Canada

This is possibly the worst walk in/family doctor place I have ever been to. Currently trying to find a better family doctor at this point.if there was less than 1 star I would put that!

My girlfriend walked in with an intent to take a vaccine, and was utterly disrespected by a middle aged female receptionist with a pixie cut. The receptionist was extremely rude and condescending and gave attitude to my girlfriend as she was asking questions about the vaccine that she was about to take.

My girlfriend also claimed that this was not the first time she had an issue with this receptionist at this location, the only reason she went back to this clinic was because she really needed that vaccine, and the location was more convenient for her. I am not surprised with the way the receptionist treated her based on all other one star reviews on here. My girlfriend ended up not getting the vaccine and decided to go to another clinic instead. If you cannot treat people with respect then you need to find another job that does not involve dealing with other people. That woman should not be working at this clinic. Neither myself or my girlfriend will be coming back.

Bad experience. Staff is rude and unprofessional. “Drs” don’t let you explain why you’re there. They quickly see you and want to pass to next patient.

I have never waited more than 10 mins to be seen by the doc. And everyone in there is so helpful and nice. Dr. Shakib is the best Dr Ive ever had

I went to the walk-in clinic with 4 different medical issues to be looked at. The female doctor only allowed me to present her 2 of them and refused to provide treatment for the other 2. I will be taking legal action for medical misconduct. Horrible human being.

I have been coming to willowdale Clinic for the last 5 years and i ve been dealing with Dr. Alireza Shakib for the last 2 years. I ve been always having a great efficient service from the Doctor & the secretaries. This is one of the best clinics i ve visited in the last 17 years Accross Canada. I strongly recommend this place! The wait time is not long and the team is very professional

I am SO disappointed with this clinic. The only Farsi speaking clinic near us. Every time it take me 3 hours waiting for a doctors there! Doctors do not anything, They do not care about any complain and follow up. Dr Shakib never listen to you!

Hello. Bad service for people with significant injuries. I had car accident and I have concussion, I asked to more me up in the line, but they reject. After I asked to give me bad to lay-down, they say no.

Waited 2 hours to talk to doctor for 5 mins.there were only 3 people infront of me and it seems everyone just went infront of me eventho i was there earlier then them.

This is a walk in clinic located on Yonge street therefore very busy at all times. So busy that they are open on Saturdays and until noon even on Sunday There are usually 2 doctors here who have to handle so many patients and their responsibilities. Dr. Alireza Shakib has been treating my family for almost 4years now. He is a very good physician. Very patient and takes his time to listen to the patients concerns and addresses each one of them. No doubt, it takes close to 10-15min with each patient. But it is very appreciative, especially if you are the patient!

For those complaining about the wait times and other patients who seem to walk in to see the doctor before them. These patients usually book appointments or their names with the receptionist ahead of time, check in with reception about the time it would take, go home or do their other tasks and then walk back in when it's time for them to be seen. I've myself been through this long waiting experience. But it hasn't stopped me from visiting the doctors because I know how good they are and proximity to my residence.

Surely everyone knows if you need immediate medical assistance you call 911 or visit the emergency and not a walk in clinic.

It's very easy to nitpick about the negatives with the system and the doctors, but people need to understand that doctors and their staff too are human beings, yet sometimes go above and beyond their required role and doing the best they can under the situations.

Aah, this Clinic is a Piece of work. I tried to see a Doctor this Sunday, during weekend hours because I am Running a Fever and needed to see a Doctor. This Clinic's Hours of Operations is Clearly posted on the Internet and on the Doors of its Facilities.

For this Sunday, the hours said open: 9: 00am til 1: 00pm; I arrived at this Clinic at 12: 23 PM and after waiting for About 5 minutes, the Receptionist said that they were Not taking anymore Patience. So, I reminded her, of their business hours posted on their Door and that I was running a Fever and I needed to see a Doctor. Her response was, go and look for another Clinic.

Even one star is too much this clinic. Doctor shakib is only there to make money. Thats all he is thinking. He refuses to refill the simplest prescriptions unless you go there and wait for hours. His opinion on medical problems are weak. Basically they are running a business there not a medical center.
