Willowdale Off-Leash Dog Park

Nice dog park for rainy days, as it’s loose pebbles and doesn’t get muddy.
Also has a ‘small dog’ area, if your tiny fella often gets frightened or bullied by bigger dogs.

Great place to bring your dog/s.
People should obey gate rule where stated that dogs 20lbs or less only allowed in other part.
Lots of friendly people & dogs.

All gravel, nothing else! Make sure you put in sunblock if you are going here mid day.

Keep an eye out for the occasional cigarette which has been tossed. Obviously not safe at all for puppies.

People who visit are nice.

Great location and we'll maintained. Parking is never an issue. Pretty popular spot lots of dogs of different sizes. My only complaint is the gravel.

A great place for people who have dogs, to let the dogs run free without their leashes. It has a section for smaller dogs, and a separate section for bigger dogs. There are also some places for people to sit down inside.

Small and quiet, not very busy. No grass other than outside the dog park boundaries. The small and big dog space is about the same.

Pebble base is a better description then gravel as the stones a more rounded that what you usually get with gravel. Like others said, good option on wet days if you want to avoid mud. There's small and large dog area. Park is not very big and there's not much shade but it's right next to the power corridor park so you can just leash your dog go there for break or a walk.

This dog park is not especially scenic but it has the advantage of a gravel service so it does not get muddy. There is also a very large sized small dog area. Garbage containers are provided for poop. Generally very friendly clientele and dogs here. Busier in the evening. Plenty of parking in the community centre now as it is closed for COVID.

Would be better if Doug Ford could explain why a dirt bike track is closed due to Covid? How much transmission could there be when there's nothing to touch but hills and being outdoors

Looks like a good place for dogs to run around in a fenced in area. I don't see any locks, and of course, dogs and owners need to behave. I wish my dog was around to enjoy this nice place.

Pebbles are nice for the dog, tons of dogs and not much space. There isn’t much etiquette of other dog owners. They allow for their dogs to crowd around the entrance when coming in, call their dogs over to “train” when they are playing with others and some people came and left their dog on leash walking around.

This dog park is a great option for rainy days. I would not recommend it as an everyday dog park, but when the ground is wet, the gravel is a good option to make sure your dog does not come home muddy.

I don' t understand the gravel. There was poop everywhere and it was hard to walk in gravel. There was very very little shade and not many places to sit down. Good for downtown.

The gravel ground for this dog park was not a thought out idea. My dog could barely run, and none of the other dogs were sprinting around due to the flooring. Noticed some owners take their dog up the hill from there to run and sprint around on the grass, water bowls were left out and a green bin for poop was left on the hill. Would not recommend this park as the dogs don't get exercise, however they do get a lot of socialization as lots of dogs come here.

Beautiful weather with many dogs that came out to play. Park is divided into two; one for big dogs, the other for small dogs - very nice. Good way to tire out your energetic dog.

It seems like a good park with both small and large dog sections and both a good size. Landscape was nice with lots of benches on the outside of the area. Only issue is the gravel is hard to walk on and had to put pawz booties on for our little guy so he was comfortable. Other complaint was there was dog poop left in the areas by other owners.really inconsiderate. Otherwise great spot!

Great place for letting your dog get some exercise. Hockey Arena and bike path are close by. Can use Arena parking lot.

Located next to a bike path. Good for taking your dog for a long walk on a sunny day after some play time in the off leash area.

There is a small and large dog separation which is nice since my dog is a bit reactive and still learning. It is smaller than other dog parks but spacious enough. Owners do not pick up after their dogs so there is poop everywhere so watch where you're going. The floor is also gravel which makes it hard to get through and didn't spend more than 10 minutes here. Nice thing is that it's connected to this walk way that we did enjoy.

Nice medium sized fully fenced dog park. Had separate areas for large and small dogs. The ground is entirely made of a sort of gravel or loose pebbles and no grass though.

I would love to give it more stars but two of the four gates are broken, making one of the enclosures useless.

I'm not sure the gravel at this dog park is the best they should have grass. Nice place to let your dog run around though

Our dogs favorite local dog park. Has both a small dog and large dog space so no matter what size dog you have its a great spot.
