Willowdale Park

Great for young children during the day: playground, water sprinkler feature, Muskoka chairs, picnic tables, and lots of green space. However, some users of the park let their dogs off-leash (I am unsure of the bylaws for this park) ; I have also witnessed a young child just squatting to urinate in public which is unsanitary! There should be public restrooms nearby, but I have never used them. At night, users of this park are mostly teenagers and adults; some of them are smokers.

Great little park with swings for the kids, tables for adults and enough space for dogs to run around. Clean, friendly and well-maintained. There is also a water fountain just in case you get a bit too warm ;)

I bring my dog here everyday for his walk. It's not very big but it is nicely maintained and clean.

Plenty of space to spread out during COVID, well covered by trees and a great place for a picnic

Lots of people out enjoying the park. Splash pad is open. Very well maintained, smell nice too!

Small but sweet in the neighborhood. There was a lot of black squirrels searching for food around. And they don't get afraid of human to get close and ask food. Poor animals.

Always a good quick place to escape from the busy urban life. Nothing fancy, but never short of peacefulness

One of the better parks in North York! Water fixtures and activity centre offer fun for young ones

Nice little neighborhood park, with splash pad, playground equipment, large field for football etc. Part of a nice walking path.

Clean and safe. Has a small splash pad. Lots of trees and shade. Summer parking available at adjacent tennis court

Excellent park with a splash pad and playground for kids to play with a couple of benches and a tennis club adjacent to it.

Love this place, so accessible for all those living in the High rise condos just east of Yonge, to walk through the park in a serene surrounding or in the recreational parts for children to play including the splash pad or listen to some music too

You never go wrong with a combination of slides, swings and splash pads.

Fun little park with a splash pad and kids play area. It is quite outdated though. Floor around the playground is sand, and the playground equipment is made of wood not plastic. It is very highly used and should be upgraded soon.
There is also a large grass area for this neighbourhood. There are often people having picnics while their kids play!

It's a very nice walk from North York all the way to Sheppard and beyond to 401. Easy to stroll, water fountains evey now and then, especially closer to Sheppard, kids area with water themes. Kudos for doing that, North York!
