Incredibly warm and friendly staff. When calling to book my first appointment for my puppy, they took time to ask how she was doing so far and offered to answer any questions I may have ahead of my appointment.
During the puppy check up, Dr Lofsky took lots of time to walk me through the different resources online, taught Pickles a new obedience trick and built a great rapport with myself and Pickles.
I highly recommend their services, reasonably priced as well!

I found it hard to find a new vet when my previous vet of many years retired. I was fortunate to find Dr Loftsky and find him a knowledgeable caring and kind vet. I do find the prices high at this time.but I am a believer that in most cases you get what you pay for. The clinic is efficient, clean and well organized. Staff is courteous and efficient. Location is great (for me!). I am very happy with my choice.and like all pet owners we want the very best for our pets.

Recommend by family and friends I went there with my puppy and she was nervous at first but then she warned up. Amazing place. You can tell they care about animals. And this is our new place from now on?

I came to the clinic with my new puppy after the loss of my old guy. Dr. Rob & Alan are compassionate, very knowledgeable and a fantastic resource of information for a new puppy owner. They are the team I want to care for my new family member.

We recently moved to the area and chose Wilmot Veterinary Clinic as our vet for our one year old pup based on a friend’s recommendation. After our first visit with Dr. Lofsky, I can confidently say we made the right decision. The staff are welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable. Dr. Lofsky answered all of our questions and addressed any concerns thoroughly. Our puppy Moose was actually eager to be there, and looks forward to going back! Thank you for providing the best care for our fur baby.

They are Great. They did an awesome job of teaching me how to trim my dogs nails. Very friendly and personable.

Absolutely the best Vet in town. We have been with them for years and our family now uses them too.
Alan is the front line and is extremely helpful. I have MS and Alan always helps me get food or our pups in/out of the office. Dr. Lofsky is always professional, courteous and friendly to our pets and us.

We had our first visit to Wilmot Veterinary Clinic with our 12 week old puppy and it was a great experience for us and the puppy. Alan was super helpful and Dr. Lofsky new exactly how to befriend, handle, examine and give the appropriate shots to our puppy. He also gave us good advice for some of the behavioural issues we were having and provided us with links t his excellent website where you can find all the info you would ever need for your dog.

Wilmont did more in one visit then my previous vet had done in many years. Disappointed I didn’t come here sooner. 10 stars.

The vet was informative and willing to answer all of our questions, the secretary was so joyful and sweet and our cats were not upset or stressed at all in the relaxing environment. Totally recommend bringing your pets here

We have been impressed with the care we have received from our first visit with Dr. Lofsky and the team. As a family we feel supported, our questions are always answered and the love for animals is evident in the service we receive. Ari is well taken care of by the team and we are grateful!

My cats (one British Shorthair and one Ragdoll) get treated very well at this place. For the past 3 years, this is the one and only veterinary clinic we visit in Kitchener/Waterloo. I recommend this place because of their good people, their proficiency and good online booking system.

They do not accept patients. I wish they took the time to update their website with this info. Not friendly over the phone.

When we first started using the Wilmot Veterinary Clinic, we were surprised by how clinical Dr. Lofsky came off. It seemed almost cold. However, in time we came to understand his absolute commitment and passion to animals. I now believe that the distance he seems to keep is the only thing keeping him sane after the years.
When it comes to end of life care, this is where Dr. Lofsky really shines. His compassion and empathy, in our experience, are unsurpassed. He even has an entire room dedicated for this purpose.
It is a wonderful small clinic, reminiscent of a small town vet.

Our dog is quite fearful of veterinary clinics. It was no fault of his previous vet clinic, but he just wont cooperate if we go back there. We appreciate the fear-free measures taken at this clinic. His recent visit went much better than most previous ones (at another clinic), and better that the first time here last year.
Dr. Lofsky took his time with our dog, trying to gain more trust and went out of his way to make him feel OK about the visit. I appreciate being able to get more of the calming drugs if we need them - although the only time seems to be for visits to the clinic!

I have been taking my guys to them for about 10 or more years now. Dr. Lofski, Allan and all of the staff are fabulous, whether it's when we're there for an appointment or a call with questions or concerns. No other place I'll take my dogs too!

Our pup gets excellent care at the clinic. As a first time dog owner, I am grateful for their support in answering my questions and following up with me to make sure my pup is doing well. Willow says thanks for the peanut butter!

Had a very good first experience here with my cat. Doctor gave multiple suggestions for solutions to the particular problems we are having with our cat. Came up with a good plan of attack to tackle the issues in a step by step process. Took his time with our visit and handled our cat well. I also like how this clinic has individual examination rooms with doors to directly outside. This is great for not having animals mix it up with eachother in a common greeting arena. As we know, sometimes some animals can be more active and curious then what the situation may call for.

I love the care I get at wilmot! They are always professional and take such great care of my dog. They always follow up with any concerns brought forward and check in to make sure your pet is improving.

The vet and his admin are great to my cat. They have a way to relax him during a visit. Always attentive and answers any and all concerns. They take their time.

Very kind and understanding staff. We bring our rescue pup there and they did everything to make her feel comfortable.

I have been to a few different vets and would hands down recommend Wilmot Veterinary Clinic over all others.
Not only is Dr. Lofsky knowledgeable, professional and trustworthy, he goes above and beyond to create a fear free environment for my dog (and probably every dog) each time we're there.
The entire staff is beyond friendly and it always feels like such a welcoming place.

Easy to get too lots of parking. Because of covid haven't met vet (though spoke with him) yet, but staff are very helpful and treatment have been great.

Great vet.my cat loves coming here & is always rolling around & exploring the room.
They use these cat diffusers that make her comfortable & she gets treats and I never doubt she’s in good hands. I drive the extra few km to come here because it’s so worth it!

Always happy with my dogs care here. Last time it took us longer to get ready than the appointment was, it was so speedy! But that doesn’t take away from the care. My pup is happy and healthy and it’s thanks to the vet and his team!

My dog has been a patient of Dr Lovtsky for 3+ years. Although she has not experienced any major health issues, our visits are handled promptly and in a professional manner. Dr Lovstky is knowledgeable and a good source for information. The clinic is well designed and clean. I would recommend his services to all pet owners.

Everything was great. Wouldn't have changed a thing.

I choose Wilmot Veterinary Clinic when I obtained a male kitten in February 2019. I had visited 4 other vets in my area and choose Wilmot Veterinary Clinic. It was a toss up between Wilmot Vet and one other clinic.

When I dropped in to visit Wilmot Vet, Al took a great deal of time to explain their services, shots, neutering / spaying etc. I left with brochures with additional information and their website which is full of useful information.

Dr. Lofsky and Al are very professional and happy to provide lots of information regarding pet care / health. Having a pet was a new experience for me. (I hadn't had a pet in over 35 years) I wanted to be a good pet owner and Wilmot Veterinary took the time and patience to answer all my questions.

Now a year and a half later a beautiful female stray kitten found my home. I called Wilmot Vet the next day and although they were very busy they took the time to ask me some questions about my new feline and dispense a flea treatment that this stray most certainly had brought with her.

They were able to see her a couple of days later (for initial exam and shots) and book her in to be spayed (due to her age it was important to get her spayed asap) within 2 weeks even with a schedule that was completely booked. Dr. Lofsky made something work. Thank you for making my life as a new pet owner much more relaxed knowing you are just an email / call away.

They truly care about your furry family member and go above & beyond! Only good things come to mind when thinking of this clinic. 100% recommend if you’re looking for a reliable & caring clinic. Can’t thank them enough!

I respect Dr Lofsky very much and his team- they are caring and genuinely show they love your pet. He goes the extra mile to talk life in general over and above your animals needs I recommend 100 percent and do not doubt you will be pleased with your choice

I am very glad that we have made the move to Wilmot Veterinary Clinic. Both Dr. Lofsky and Alan Hartry are caring individuals who have best interests of your pet at heart. Dr. Lofsky lays out all the options that you can do as far as your pet's health is concerned and he will do whatever you decide. I would highly recommend this clinic to anyone who is looking for a vet.

I've taken so far 3 of my 4 cats (yes I know. That's a lot of cats), starting with Makea my one. I've been slowly switching them all over from their old vet to here, because when I brought Makea, he was quickly able to diagnose her with a uterus infection and come up with a solution (he saved her life really because I had no idea & neither did her old vet. Without him figuring out what it was and coming up with a solution it definitely would've been bad), as well as make her feel comfortable. As a shy scared cat, it's important to me that she remains as calm as she can be at the vet, and she was so calm she was giving him nose boops!
All of my cats since then he's made feel very comfortable, even the youngest most afraid one, and he takes amazing care of them.
I trust him whole heartedly with my pets, and for anyone who thinks of their pets like family, like I do, that's not an easy thing to do.
Very recommended, especially if you have to drive a bit (for KW and surrounding), its well worth the drive

Sorry, this review is long overdue. Over my pups lifetimes, shes had 3 vets - because of relocating. I always try to find the best possible care in each area I've lived. I have to say Wilmot Vet Clinic is the best out of the 3 I've used. Their staff truly care about the pups. Dr. Lofsky clearly loves his profession, and makes the best decision for your pet. The value of the service is also hard to beat. I dont know how you could rate it less than 5 star.

We have had two dogs that have been patients at Wilmot Veterinary clinic and I can’t see us ever going with anyone else. The staff at the clinic are so helpful and friendly Dr. Lofski is really great with the dogs and has always been able to help us with any questions we have about our dog.

Been taking my dogs here for about 4 years now. Absolutely amazing staff who go above and beyond for your pet. Best vet in town!

Started taking a new kitty of mine here. There are entry and exit rooms to ease conflict, soothing music playing in rooms, and lots of treats if need be. Everyone there was incredibly kind and helpful. Looking forward to going back!

This vet is amazing! Not only am I comfortable brining my kitty here, but she loves coming here as well!
They have a ‘cats only’ room where she freely roams around, while they have an essential oil for cats that makes her so calm and relaxed! She also gets spoiled with treats:).
The staff makes my kitty feel right at home and I’m always greeted by Allen, the vet assistant, at the desk every time with a smile and a happy to help with anything attitude.
I Will never go to any other vet and I’m happy to drive the extra mile to come to this one.

I’ve used this vet a few times, and not even by choice and my experience there was nothing short of my most unpleasant professional experience. The only Vet there by the name Rob displayed a complete lack of basic knowledge on how to handle patients comfortably. He jumps to massive conclusions and heavy medications that nearly but my own in a coma. He once released a very large and aggressive dog into the waiting room where my 8 year old and new born kitten were without any warning, I was left feeling upset and concerned for theirs as well as my own safety as the dog darted and nearly attacked the newborn kitten which had caused him to urinate in his carrier without any provisions or apology provided. A heads up would have been appreciated. At another visit I over heard an argument happen between the Vet and his desk clerk regarding where she was eating her lunch, and that she refused to eat it in their break room because it’s the same room their euthanasia’s take place. From my experience this particular Vet has absolutely no regard for his clients or even staff members, rather then the size of their wallets. This is not a safe place to go. It’s far from freindly and it’s clearly unsanitary. This Vet should be placed under a detailed review and his practice reconsidered before ever getting the chance to care for our furry loved ones.

We have been taking our golden doodle here for the last 13 years since he was a puppy. Every interaction we have had with the vets and all support staff has been positive. All team members seem to truly love the animals. Our dog loves going and has never feared a trip to the vet.

Took good care of my puppy for neutering on Friday and dentistry, removing two impacted baby teeth

He saved my dog's life.my dog is very skittish but she doesn't freak out there. Would never go anywhere else. They are amazing there.

Although my husband and I have been with this vet for our dog for years we will be going elsewhere for treatment as he continues to age. I agree with other reviews stating that the vet acts nervous around large dogs and this absolutely reflects on the treatment we have received. He attempted to take biopsy on our dog, was "unable to get a sample" twice (we paid $200 for the first unsuccessful sample too) and suggested we go ahead and pay for the $1500 surgery. Another vet in Guelph was able to collect sample for under $50 and let us know it is non-cancerous and there is NO NEED for surgery. Save your money, do your research and don't risk your older pets health with unneeded surgeries! I wish I would have left this vet much sooner.

I took my German Shepherd to this clinic for about 5 years. Robert was never comfortable around her and his nervousness transferred to my well behaved dog. My new vet was able to palpate her full abdomen on first visitor when Robert was never able to because she tensed so much around him. This clinic is resistant to providing prescriptions to be filled elsewhere which is contrary to regulation under the Veterinarians Act. My dog required an expensive medication that I have been able to get through a pet pharmacy at a great discount thanks to my new vet.

This vet saved my puppy's life and it was a very complicated diagnosis. I'm very thankful to him and his team. He's very knowledgeable and give reminder calls, which are helpful. He charges reasonable rates as well.
