Wilson Park

I've been living in the area for 10 years and watched the park improved. Walking/biking trails were added, creek banks beautified by landscapers, rest areas along the creek added as well. Overall it's a great place to go for a stroll, run, ride, enjoy some piece and quiet, watch a game on one of the baseball fields.

If this is the park with the baseball diamonds the trees need to be cut back at diamonds 3 and 4, other side of the park much better.
Can be scarey walking thru the forest side of the park, at sundown. City needs to do something about it.

Edit: Recent renovations have caused the rain water to pool and damage the paths.

Lots of great amenities at this park. Multiple baseball diamonds of varying sizes, picnic tables, and sheltered area. There's a pool, spalsh pad, and playset. Let's of great preserved nature spots as well.

Name a sport and you will get a place for that in this park. In summer always gets busy in Tuesday due to the baseball match.
Currently, some construction going on besides the creek.

Took my little man for his baseball practice at Wilson Park. Its a nice ball park with 3 diamonds, field space for soccer, splash pad and a pool. Park is well kept and there is even a little forrest for your bathroom needs. I'd suggest bring toilet paper and sanitizer lol

Easily accessible on foot. Plenty of parking space available.

Its very beautiful come the fall and summer, though while my friend and I were cleaning the garbage up the lawn maintenance (wasn't city crews) just ran it over and never even attempted to clear any debri or much attention to wildlife around the equipment.

The area is very lively which is great however the soccer field needs to be watered a bit more. Other than that, nice facility for soccer use and baseball as well as community centre across the street.

Nice place to visit and take your pet to a walk. Park is well maintained and restored. Not so busy maybe due to pandemic. If you are bored and stuck indoors give it a try you won’t regret. Maybe we’ll cross paths with each other
