Wimpy's Diner

Great visit, food was excellent.
Got Southwestern Benedict with added spinach and was no issue to order, came exactly as I imagined it and was a perfect temperature to eat right away.
Service was good despite it being a full house for brunch.
Definitely worth a try if you haven't been

We went here twice for breakfast. The first time, two of the diners in our party wanted 2 eggs instead of the 3 eggs that are on the menu for every breakfast that has eggs in it. The server was not very nice about telling us that the breakfasts come with 3 eggs and there was nothing she could do about it. I thought that was weird. I mean, how would it not be possible for the cook to make one less egg? But whatever. The food was good and the server was fine after that.

The second time was better. This server was very friendly and when one diner again ordered 2 eggs instead of 3, she did not bat an eye or say it wasn't possible. However, when the food came, there were 3 eggs on that diner's plate. He was upset because he didn't want to waste food. And again, why can't they just make 2 eggs? Very weird. But the server was very nice and attentive, and the food was good. Will be back, but I might not order anything with eggs!

WOW, this place is 100% better then Brampton.
The liver and onions were tender and delicious.

Food was great. Breakfast. Western omelet, hash browns etc. One thing, the pancakes were a little overdone. Service is fantastic, fast, friendly. We're going back for dinner next visit.

We love Wimpy's Pancakes the best of all the breakfast spots! Light, fluffy and full of flavor. The staff are very friendly and efficient! The portions are much larger than expected and have been unable to finish the 3 pancakes in one sitting, but they are just as good warmed up with a little butter to keep the moist when you put them in the microwave for a mud morning top-up!

Tha ks to the staff at the Orillia location on Memorial Ave, they are now our #1 Family breakfast spot!

It was very clean. Waitresses were nice. A little bit slow and forgetful on things they messed up our order and food was okay. Definitely I would try it again but have the three strike You're out rule. My burger was a bit undercooked. My wife ordered a club sandwich. Wasn't me to what she asked

Honestly, this was a tremendous surprise. Back in the UK in the 80's, Wimpy's was a roadside caf version of McDonald's. I had been purposely avoiding Wimpy's Diners here in Canada, remembering those greasy days in the UK. WHAT A DIFFERENCE! There's no comparison. The food was excellent and the service was incredible. The place was busy, busy, busy but we got our order in record time and the waitress was cheerful and kind. Loved it!

It was a great experience! The food was terrific and they can make a mean milkshake! The decor is really fun!
