Wind Japanese and Thai

Once again, a wonderful experience at Wind Sushi in St Catharines! We decided to come here this evening to celebrate our anniversary and my birthday. Our waitress Jenny greeted us with a smile and Anniversary and Birthday greetings. She was very sweet and extremely attentive! The food - absolutely fantastic! Everything was super fresh and delicious!
Then, at the end of our meal, their robot came to our table with a piece of delicious tiramisu cake with Anniversary & Birthday greetings written in chocolate sauce, and sang Happy Birthday to me!
A lovely and enjoyable experience all around!

It was a cool experience even if not too into sushi lots of tasty options. And the robot seater and server is so cool

Really good, I like that the seating is very intimate and the atmosphere is comfortable. The service is great, I was surprised how quick some of the food arrived as well. The food itself tasted amazing. No complaints other than I don't have a robot Butler at home.

I can't resist giving "Wind" at 131 King St.in St. Catharines, Ontario, a glorious five-star rating! My family and I are sushi fanatics, and this place has become our ultimate destination for scrumptious sushi lunches and dinners.

The atmosphere sets the perfect mood for a romantic date night – it's cozy and inviting. And speaking of sushi, my absolute favorite is the Unagi – it's eel in a special sauce that's truly mouthwatering. The tempura is beyond fantastic, and the crab cream cheese wontons are simply out of this world!

What makes it even better is that "Wind" is conveniently close to our home. I often pre-order so that my food is ready for pickup on my way home. Parking can be a tad tricky, but you can usually find a spot near the library in the back.

And here's the kicker – they have a cute robot that escorts you to your table and delivers your order. It's the cherry on top of an already amazing dining experience. "Wind" has unquestionably won our hearts as our beloved sushi sanctuary in St. Catharines!

Superb service; fantastic, fast, fresh food here. They actually ask how your meal is, check in with you, talk to you like a human and not just reading off a script! Kerry took care of me and from all the sushi place I’ve been she is the best server I’ve ever had. Super friendly and knowledgeable but still a chill person who’s company I enjoyed. I’ve been going here the past few times and I am NEVER disappointed.

A step above the rest. Try Wind sushi and you’ll stop trying anything else.

The quality and price are so much better than All you can eat in the US. Even if you just go for sushi, it’s good value for money~

Based on reviews we went for sushi…
Unfortunately, we couldn’t find anything to get excited about (not even the silly robot that takes you to your seat) …we ordered ‘a la carte’ sushi rolls…all poorly constructed, stuck together and breaking apart at the slightest nudging…we had to ask (twice) for wasabi & ginger (really?) The tempura was soft and limp, not crispy and the batter fell off the shrimp when dipped in the sauce…
This is a pricey ‘pretend’ sushi restaurant with a low end diner atmosphere

Food is great with many selections! I come here quite often. Only thing I dislike is being constantly asked about the pieces I want to eat. I don’t like to waste food and why are you assuming I can’t.

Questions/statements I’ve been asked have been, “you know you’ve ordered this the first time. ” My response, “Yes I enjoy it so I want more, hence the second order. ” Or “you know that’s 8 pieces, are you sure you want that? ”

Last time I checked, this is an all you can eat restaurant.

This had been my favourite restaurant but the last two times have been terribly disappointing.

We spent close to $300 on take out and a drink while waiting. We bragged about this restaurant to our family but when we got the food home it was lukewarm. Still, I craved the dishes as they are usually flavourful so we went a few days later only to be disappointed again. We began with the NY Strip bbq nuggets and they came lukewarm. Once again below the temperature most consider acceptable. The cashew chicken was another simply warm, not hot. We didn’t eat it and told the waitress we were leaving. She felt the food and claimed it was warm. They didn’t seem to grasp that food in a restaurant should not simply be warm but rather hot.

I doubt we’ll go back. Twice in a row is a good indicator that the standard has slipped.

The food was amazing! June was really helpful in recommending new food items for my first time trying sushi! Will definitely be back.

I have been ordering Pai Thai from here for years. I can't review on uber eats, but this was the worst Pai Thai that I have ever had. It was sweet and sour with noodles. I will not be ordering from here again.

Wind is simply the best. Great food, great ambience (especially for date nights). They have a cute two seater section which has dimmer lighting and feels more private. The sushi is fantastic!

Fantastic sushi restaurant! The cocktails are very fairly priced and well made. Food was so delicious. We can’t wait to come back!

The peanut chicken curry and red curry chicken are amazing. Never been disappointed and have never left hungry.
