Wind Japanese & Thai

My kids love this place! The food is fresh and tasty. The service is always good. We frequent often as a family and the kids always go with their frieds. Only thing is I don't agree with the weekend upcharge.

Fish was not the freshest and other dishes were very bland. Threw up after consuming their sushi dishes. Service was poor as we were ignored by the waiters several times.

If you’re going to advertise as Japanese and Thai, you should be able to back it up. The food we ordered was horrible the spicy Thai seafood dish had allot of unopened clams which is a big red flag, the Thai basil fried rice had one piece of basil and absolutely no flavour and the spicy noodles with chicken wasn’t anything special. Would definitely not recommend thus place for Thai.

Incredibly fast and fresh!
I've never ordered a la carte or had take out so I'm not sure how large the portions are when you're ordering dishes individually.

I've dined in the restaurant many times (including on their outside patio) and enjoyed the lunch/dinner buffet.

You place your orders on electronic pads, the waiters make sure that there are no errors and then they bring out your food (only order what you can eat. Don't be greedy and order a ton at once)

Everything is incredible. The presentation, taste, the textures, the smells, I have never had a bad dish. I love the Thai mango salad, I love the big hand rolls, I tried a few of their stir fry dishes, I never have room for dessert and that's okay. They have a variety of hot food and cold / raw food that is sure to delight the senses!

Of the the times we come here, we always have an amazing experience. Tonight I want to personally thank Parker, for going above and beyond making our experience wonderful. I have a bad allergy and he super amazing to check with the chefs to make sure that their be no or limited cross contamination. Thank you chefs and thank you Parker!

Our plates were dirty when we arrived, and replaced by anothers also not well clean.
A server took out the soya sauce from our table before we finish.
Some of our orders never arrived and others arrived while we were living.
The drinks arrived soon as well as our server was attentive to us at most part of time.
Too expensive for a so mediocre restaurant.

The service was awful. From the moment we sat down we were ignored. Servers were sweeping the floor and wiping trays but didn’t have time for us at all! This was at 4 pm on a Saturday. Didn’t receive multiple dishes that were ordered had to ask for them. Overall a disappointing experience.

by the quality of the dishes. The calamari was perfect. The food came quick. They have a good choice of dessert as well, deep fried Mars bars, mango cake, deep fried bananas. Also the sushi was delicious and they even have strawberry sweet sushi, my daughter and I had 2 plates. Definitely will be back

At Wind, you get amazing value for the money, excellent food, and the friendliest service. I look forward to going back when I'm in the neighborhood

This place is amazing. Most sushi places seem to offer the same regular options, but our family found that Wind really offers better variety and quality food.

In terms of service, they were great. But one awkward moment was when a couple of the dishes came with chicken. We strictly don’t eat any meats and we told this to the server. He was skeptical and told us we must’ve ordered it… so we told him there was no away we did. He checked the iPad and realized he was wrong.

Not sure why it’s okay to put customers in a position where they feel like they need to defend themselves.

Very futuristic. The food was excellent. Also had fast service and even a robot to bring your order out. It's all you can eat and in small portions.

This place is really good. Loved the food and the atmosphere, it’s clean and huge I. Sushi was so good, unlike other restaurants they don’t put too much rice to make you full. Will be coming back.

The food is so fresh, delicious, and as plentiful as one wants. The sashimi is our favourite especially the salmon and beef tataki. It's all very good. We love the sushi rolls as well but we try and stick the items with not too much rice or one can get filled up very quickly. The coconut soup and Thai mango salad is so delicious. There are curry and Thai dishes to also choose. It's pricey but you get what you want and how much you want. Love it here

Best tasting sushi in Niagara falls. Always great food, servers are always coming around making sure your taken care of and don't go hungry. Will definitely continue to come back here!

Probably my favorite all you can eat sushi place ive tried. Highly recommended, service was great aswell.

Average of the average, food is average, price is average, decor is average, service is average but best choice in the area since there arent any other options of the same type.

We tried Wind at St. Catharines and it was great so we wanted to give this location a try.

Our reservation was for Sophie's table, 5pm, Sat July 31st

At first, shashimi was fresh. The second round with shushi and everything after that was a disappointment. The shushi rice tasted old and cold, made it feels like grocery store shushi which definitely not what i expect from Wind. I tried few handrolls and the same situation. I left lots a rice out but out of my surprise, my server never ask how my food was.

Third round i tried some beef teriyaki, beef and chicken skewers, some wok dishes.the meat was so bad you can totally tell it was a low quality of meat. When i asked what cut it was, got told i was strip three A? I asked to return all of them, and again, surprisingly, my server does not ask why i want to return my food nor sorry for the quality.

We decided to only tips 10% since we did not have the best experience with this place, but the billed came up as 15% added? In some review, the owner said 15% added automatically with table of 6 or more, but my table was 2?

I work in the restaurant industry and i don't want to give a bad review, this is more of an honest review. None of the server or MOD came to ask how was our food, we would have speak up more. I know its AYCE and you want to cut corners for profits, but the quality of your food was a joke.

Wind, we are very disappointed. We don't feel like the food and service we received worth $100. Not talking about you secretly go behind our back and added extra tips on our card.

Amazing sushi and customer service now as compared before.we got disappointed with the male server 1.7 years ago.

I loved it. I thought I didn't like sushi it seems I was wrong. The food and the service are awesome. A very happy customer. And it is worth the money

Food is really good. The setup with ordering through the tablet is cool. They added mayo or something to the rolls I normally get like the shrimp tempura roll and it brings down the quality. Never used to have it but that'd the only reason I dropped one star. Servers are nice and promptly bring out food as soon as you order.

We had Ann as our waitress, she had great customer service and very friendly as well! Thank you again:) The food here is amazing, I recommend if you are craving sushi!

What an absolute gem! This place is amazing. Their service is out of this world, they are very attentive without being annoying, they are kind and accommodating, food is very fresh and flavourful. Food came very quick, despite they were packed on Wednesday evening. The place is very clean, washrooms are stocked up and cleaned well. Fish is very fresh, I tried salmon and white tuna, they melted in my mouth. Shrimps are succulent and huge, nicely flavoured. Their desserts are absolutely delicious and they have some unique items. Creme brulee is heavenly delicious. Kids could not get enough of their tempura mars bars. Highly recommend if in the area. I will be back next time I'm there. It is hard to find a place that ticks all boxes but this one takes the cake!

Bagged frozen mixed vegetables in basil fried rice? Imitation crab meat (first in hundreds of times getting this soup at other places) and 2 sad oysters in place of shrimp in tom yum? Nothing really looked fresh really cutting corners there, is this place going out of business or something? Pretty disappointing. Maybe this place does sushi well but they should leave the thai side alone. Not anything memorable here. It really seems as if they don't take pride in creating any of these dishes. Should spend less time decorating the place and more of quality.

Good service and good food. The system for their All-You-Can-Eat is simple and straightforward, you order on their tablet, they validate it and the food comes.

The food was bland and had no taste at all, the only thing that had some sort of taste was the meat skewers, and the sushi, if you go there don't order anything else.

Order was wrong but by the time we got home we didn’t want to turn back. Pad Thai was huge, lots of shrimp but too dry.

Seriously amazing service, take out, and loyalty program. My gf and I come here all the time and the staff are always friendly and go the extra mile for any requests.

Food is incomparable, beats East and August 8 from my experiences!

Got Sick!

Service was slow, we had to keep on calling the waiter to send the order to the kitchen. And not once did the waiter refill our drink! And on top of that, I got sick after eating the sushi! Won't be coming back!

I have been going to this place for years, it's great! I love how they offer both sushi and Dim sum.

We had dinner at the Niagara Falls location on Sunday August 8th our first time here. Service was fast and good and the food good too.
Only thing when the bill came we were charged $146.87 this was for 1 Pad Thai, 3 orders of Sushi (6 pcs), 2 orders of steamed dumplings (2 pc each order) 1 mango juice, one ginger ale, one Canadian beer. Not sure if this was an error or just overly priced. Would like to know? As it was our first time here. Besides they gave us an iPad to order with no prices against the meals and the bill did not have a breakdown of price. Can someone from the restaurant comment please and thank you.
