Great place, we took my granddaughter for her first trail ride. She had a great day and asked to go back again. They really give u a great experience and lots of memories.

Highly recommend the ranch to the folks who love horses and experience the riding like cowboys. The orientation is very informative and insightful learning about horses and the riding techniques. Moreover, the owner and staff are very patient and thoughtful throughout the whole experience!
It’s 100% beyond the 5 stars, and would be the memorable place that you want to visit back!

I have recently joined a riding group at Windsong ranch…. I really had not been on a horse for years. My experience was out of this world…the instruction was second to none, they have trails on over 100 acres, over streams, hills and the view is amazing. I have decided to join a group of like riders from march until end of October. The rates. Are very reasonable and the horses are beautiful, and well cared for. Thank you for the patience you had for me Gord, and for the trail rides Heather…see you in march.

Went riding today and was very impressed by the experience. It was important for me to see that the horses were treated well and this is very apparent here! I was a little nervous and everyone here made me feel calm and confident the whole ride. I would highly recommend windsong ranch to anyone looking for a great trail riding experience!

Afraid of horses, Afraid to ride. Well this is the perfect place for you to come and experience and get rid of your fear. We have only been on a horse once in our lives and that was being led around a circle. At Windsong Ranch we were learned everything about horses themselves and how they react to people. Their mannerisms and how to go about handling them. We spent time walking the horses through an obstacle course following our commands. We then mounted and walked the horses through the same course. Once all were comfortable with our rides, out we went on a very challenging trail ride that offered everything we practised in the barn. We spent an hour each in the barn and on the trail. AGAIN we have only been on a horse ONCE in our lives and here we were galloping and walking on the trail. EXCELLENT. Thanks Heather and Gord and Splash, Monty and Cleo The Ranch Horses. We loved everything about this experience. We spent some time getting familiar with our horses which made us all feel comfortable and confident even though some of us were first time riders. It is obvious that Heather and Gordy are passionate about what they do and that they love their horses. Highly recommend!

I can't say enough About the amazing experience you have at Windsong Ranch. I now have had two of my horses boarded and trained there. I have been riding since I was 7 and eventually got to showing hunter in my teens. I have been at several barns, with many different coaches and I can not say enough about how amazing Gord is in both his teaching and training. If I could I would keep my horses here all year round!

Amazing, amazing experience. If I lived closer, I would ride here everyday. Gord is the horse whisperer. I learned so much about horses and riding. Gord tailored the ride to our interests and our experience level (which included some loping). This is the best trail ride I've ever been on. We did the 3-hour experience. We will be back! Was lucky enough to meet this terrific family. New to the area and drove past often. Last year my spouse signed us up for lessons and we carried on for fun rides. Gord and Heather are very knowledgeable and took much time and patience training a newbie. Their family is terrific and we were blessed meeting them all! They are terrific neighbours and run a very wonderful operation.

If you are ever looking to go out for fun, take some lessons or a place for your horse to call home. This Is definitely the place to go.

The trail ride at Windsong was one of the best experiences our family has ever had. Gordy and Heather taught us so much and then let us hop on a horse and get out on the trail. Definitely worth the price. I had to send a tip because it should be more expensive. Make sure you ask to meet the barn cat. Dynamite experience!

Taking lessons at Windsong is a wonderful experience. Gord is an amazing teacher. He is knowledgeable, patient and has an excellent eye for the needs of each level of rider. Heather is an absolutely lovely person who is genuine in her support and encouragement. It is obvious that they both love to share their expertise and love of horses with others. The horses are so wonderful. They appear so content to be cared for so well in these beautiful surroundings. It is such a happy place for me to be each week. Thank you!

Fantastic horses, fantastic trails and fantastic guides (and owners)! I recommend this riding adventure to all ages and skill levels.

What a wonderfully blessed family adventure! Gordon & Heather were great and took the time to assess our personalities to select the best horse for each of us. Gordon educated us about the horses before the trail ride and we even got to brush them which the kids loved. We are a family of 4: with 2 adults 2 kids aged 10 and 8. I was nervous but the horses they chose were amazing and beautiful! Heather took some great pictures of us too. We will definitely go again!

Amazing experience, very knowledgeable family we learned a lot. We went for our daughter’s 8th birthday and our family of 4 all participated. Normally it was supposed to be an outdoor trail however the continued rain made the trails too muddy. Fortunately they were able to let us ride in their arena. Overall I think the arena made the experience more amazing because it helped us connect with the horse and really understand how they think, move and their mannerisms. I feel this made us all more comfortable to go out on a trail when the time comes. I have ridden horses in the past, most of the time you jump on and follow the leader with no lessons and no information this was such a better experience. Monty is as stubborn as me but by the end we bonded.

Boarded here for year. Gord and Heather are amazing, and are great teacher and caretakers of your horse. You wont find a better place.

My wife took me to Windsong to horseback ride for my birthday. We went once before in Colorado. We thought that experience could never be beat. We were wrong! Gordie and Heather were there to guide us with the utmost care on how to ride and respect the horse and at the same time how to lead a horse with simple but effective commands. That was before we hit the trail. Words cannot describe how diverse, beautiful and fun the experience was. The group that we shared the ride with were also very nice. I highly recommend this experience to anyone. These people are the real deal.

Gordie and Heather made our horseback riding experience incredible! They took their time in teaching us, and guided us through a gorgeous two hour ride while telling us facts about the area and taking photos of us. Highly recommend if you're looking for a fun fall activity with friends:)
