I always find that this location has very good customer service. Unfortunately this time they did not have the vacuum bag replacement I needed so I went to another location and they did have it.

Was looking for shelves on amazon, but nothing compares to buying your own wood, staining it and making your own shelves. Was able to get cut wood pieces from Home Hardware, stain them and mount them for less than 1/4th the price of buying premade, and practically would ha e taken te same time.

Always a great place for those last minute items. Very personable and have alot of outdoor decorations.

Bought a item in lasalle at home hardware tried to return this location manager was rude told me she wasn't going to take the return I had to drive back out lasalle explained my car was being fixed and I wasn't able to go back out there she didn't care terrible service website stats can take returns to any homehardware

Online ordering is NOT from store stock - THE WORST ONLINE ORDERING EVER!
Individual stores don't get the online orders, instead all orders go to a central location. If you see the item in stock, go to the store and forget the online scam. I waited 5 days for an item that was in stock at the store 5 minutes from my house, frustrated I called the store to enquire about the delay. First time no answer. I call again, get someone, get transferred to another department to see about the "possibility" of getting one off the shelf, only for it to go to voicemail.

Very poor experience! Totally ignored. Store was not over run with customers. Cashiers looked right through me when I greeted them good morning then turned away without response. Customer service desk the same. Patiently waited my turn (I am a senior). Totally ignored. Staff were busy at keyboards but no acknowledgement. When finished at keyboard, turned away so not to catch my eye. Disgusted. Put down items intended to purchase. Will not make the effort to go there again. Shame on them.

Just gotta say that David in the yard today loaded me up took special care of my service.

They have no idea what a handicapped person is.they are to busy talking about there night out and how they wished the costumers would leave so they could party.it was 10am!

I've never had a good experience shopping here in person and online was even worse. Tried ordering from here twice, 2nd time was to give them another chance in case the 1st time was just a fluke. Both times, it took over a week for them to respond saying item was not available. And whenever I called to get an update or ask if an item was in stock, no one answered. Plus there was no way to cancel the order online when I no longer needed something. Essex location is just a few extra minutes drive for me and we'll worth the time and gas.

They treated me like I was going to steal something in their store. I may be dark but that does not mean I am in there stealing. I was embarrassed and angry. Money in my pocket to buy what I went for but I just walked out in disgust instead. How would you like being treated like a thief and followed everywhere?

I called three times and no one picked up. I drove there and attempted to speak to an employee, and they cut me off with a sharp "ma'am" and told me that I must place my order by phone. I am at your store, asking politely to get one little item. Can we pantomime a phone call? I went to the Home Hardware 10 KM away in Lasalle. Never go to this one. Their staff are rude.

I would love to thank Charlie for correctecting are lumber order today. We mistakenly got the wrong color of pressure treated wood. He was very acomidating during this current lockdown. Also for the staff of young men in the lumber department they were very helpful aswel.

Terrible customer service. When I called to find out if they sold extensions for patio awnings the cashier said that they did, but she would not check on the price as "they were at the other end of the store". When I arrived at the store not only did they not have any, but " to my knowledge we have never carried them".
Assistant manager Evan graciously offered to make me one up and deliver it that day or the next. (WOW!). I paid for it. 3 days later no extension. Evan stated that he was doing me a favour by making one up and was tired of listening to my "sob story". He could not promise a date for delivery. He also said that his cashier had offered to check on availability but that I had refused their offer. Lying and not following up on promises made

If I could give 0 stars, I would. After making an online order and receiving an email confirming that the order is ready for pick up, we waited in your Curbside Pickup spot for over an hour after calling in to say we had arrived. After calling the store 3 times, we were finally called up to the door to pay. We paid for our order and then sat in the parking lot for another 30 minutes waiting for our order. You system is not working for you or you customers. The girl at the door was running around like crazy, she kept having to scream people's names to get their orders. It was all very disorganized. When we finally got fed up and went to the door again, the girl was very rude and said that we had to go to the back to get the wood we ordered. Could've told us that in the first place. Awful experience. Be prepared to wait anywhere from 45 minutes to 1.5 hours for your stuff and be spoken to like you're a 2 year old.

Not thinking about hardware store being curbside only, I went to the Tecumseh Rd West location. I was greeted by wonderfully pleasant people who advised me to order my piece of lumber. I do so from the comfort of my car. Everything was ready for me in less than 30 minutes! Such a great place, no wonder it's my first choice for most of my home hardware needs.

Bad service, you have to wait a long time outside and nobody from the department you want to order will answer you. The workers in the delivery and payment department are constantly shouting at customers, except for two of them are very kind. I do not wish to return to this place.

They say they have curbside pickup, but you have to go to the front door. Unable to reach anyone by phone when I went to pick up my order, and the staff did not respect distancing rules.

You try to order something for curbside pickup and these guys never ever ever answer the phone how am I supposed to order something that's not on your website that I know that you have if you don't pick up your phone pick up the phone I will never come back here again just because of this

I called this store to order and do curbside pick of 2 items. I gave Sean the item numbers. He checked that they had them & told me I could come & pick them up. I did so. However, when I got there 2 hours later I was informed that they didn't have one of them & do I still want the other item? No apology or concern for my wasted time. Then I had to drive my truck through their crowded warehouse to pick up one piece of lumber. It was a tight squeeze. Don't drive in there unless you have a very small car & if you really need something, don't count on this Home Hardware.

Was in a pinch today and seemed that all other hardware stores were to busy or didn't want to help but the staff at this location are fast professional and efficient despite being slammed with customers and contractors. 5 stars is an understatement

On more then one occasion this location has gone over and above with their customer service! Kudos to you and your team! In these unfavorable times we have turned to Windsor Home Hardware because the other big box stores could not deliver on product and definitely not on service.

Went in to buy some supplies. Right away as I entered I was greeted with a friendly "Welcome. " Very friendly and helpful staff. The trim section was nearly empty but so is every other store right now. I was given a 50% on one piece because of a defect at the end of the board. Didn't even have to ask for it.

Helpful staff were able to point me in the direction of everything I asked for just missing a set of screws I needed. Had to go elsewhere for those.

has a serious attitude problem towards other employees in front of customers and thinks its somehow "funny" to roll her eyes and make faces behind the other employees faces. Rude and extremely lazy, incompetent staff in the warehouse and nobody yhat wants to do their job. Refuse to shop here anymore.

I gave 3 stars because of my last couple visits there. I went looking for a specialty paint and the guy working the section asked me to wait a minute. I waited and continued to look in the aisle. A couple minutes went by and still wasn't available but as soon as a man walked up to him he was available for him. That was a clear enough message for me.
Some of the employees are helpful and others are downright rude, ignorant!
I will only deal with the people I know are good at their job going forward.

Stopped here last week to purchase something and my 2 year old granddaughter needed to use the washroom - it was closed but the staff sympathized and allowed her to use the facilities. Actually the whole time we were in the store the staff was warm and friendly. I highly recommend you spend your money here. We were at Canadian Tire store last night and we had a horrible experience we told the bathrooms were closed - no exceptions. Guess its too much to ask that the bathrooms are cleaned so PAYING customers can use it if they need to. Home Hardware over Canadian Tire, hands down, better customer care. Thank you for making our experience a pleasant one.

Worst homehardware in town. Worth driving across town for another store. Employees are constantly rude, unreliable and miserable.

Be sure to call ahead to see if its in stock most likely won't be. 1 time i got a flyer in the mail went in an hour later and nothing waste of time spend ur money where its appreciated

I was in there today bought 3 peices of wood they were plastic strapped I asked and older short guy that works there in wharehouse if he could cut the two straps he kept walking mumbled something I could not understand and I said can I have your name please he kept walking dealing with public is not good for business with him he is very ignorant

My mom and I went in there because they had a glider chair on sale but didn't have any in store so the lady that was waiting on us ordered one. It will come in in two weeks plus we found a couple of other things we were looking for. It is a friendly store and they are helpful.

I asked almost 5 employees about 5 different products, one of them barely gave me an answer.
Definetly there is something wrong about this store, either employees ain't aware of the products or they don't want to work!
Very disappointed and bad experience overall

Staff is friendly but customers were allowed to violate physical distancing. Many customers brushed by me in a hurry with no 2 metre consideration. I will not return until this changes. Otherwise many more stars.

Update: A subsequent visit displayed better distancing practices. The narrow main aisle presents a challenge, but most people try to provide 2 metres.

The lady in the paint department I think her name is Anne. She was the best person I have ever delt with in any store ever. Very knowledgeable and saved me a ton of extra work

After waiting a really long time for someone to answer the customer service line, I found out that some items listed in the flyer but not in the store that I thought I had a rain check for were not even entered into their system nor did I receive the promised call when the items came in. Poor service and follow up and even though the staff in the store seem nice, there is very low level of competence. Not going back to this store because of one too many similar experiences of poor customer service.

Got 2 keys cut here a few months ago.didn't use them for awhile, I've never had a badly cut key before, it's a simple copy machine.
I brought the original to someone that left town for a bit recently and had both copies on me, came home that day and had to break into my house because both copies wouldn't work!

Not impressed, I've had many keys copied at many hardware stores, even did a few myself when they were too busy at home Depot before (lol) and still never had a copy that plain just didn't work like these!

Local home hardware store. Staff are pleasant and easily available. Guys in loading are very helpful as well. Good selection of building and household maintenance merchandise although variety is a bit more limited than the big box stores sales are good. Prices are moderate for a local store. Lots of parking and handicap accessible parking.
