Windsor Urgent Care Clinic

Don't bother going or call before you go! They are always closed. Said open until 6pm so we took our sick 10 month daughter and they had closed at 2pm. This is second time this happened to us. Lack of compassion from receptionist.

Just went to this urgent care after getting attacked by a dog. Gordana was my nurse. She went above and beyond to make sure I felt comfortable and even provided me with some laughs. She was gentle, efficient and truly caring. The woman at the front desk was also a delight. She made me feel welcomed and helped ease the tension I was having due to my injuries. Highly recommend them

I have gone to this clinic for years and have had nothing but great care. I have gone in for myself and also brought my kids for different things in that time. The doctors, nurses and receptionist have been brutally harassed while doing their job during and even after COVID which is ridiculous. If you don't like their rules and protocol go somewhere else. You don't have to berate people for doing their job. I will continue to go back as I am thankful for the job they do and the care I get.

My daughter had a lump under her arm one of the doctors did the incision and called us after two days. We went there and they were taking all the other patients who came after us. On asking why they said procedure is being cleaned. After two hours they were still cleaning the room. I had to go to work so we left. Be carefull about doing any procedure there. It will be cut and run.

10 out of 10… do not recommend.receptionist is extremely rude and clearly unstable and unsure of her job.she refuses to accept a child with a temporary health card meanwhile any other clinic will accept it.we only came here because it’s closest to our house but driving somewhere else is a way better option.i would avoid at all cost

The wait time can be seen online. Was in and out within 10 minutes! And all the staff were great!

The wait is longer than I'd like but that's to be expected unfortunately. I was seen as I needed stitches. The doctor and nurse were very kind. The procedure was pretty painless, all things considered. They were kind enough to let me bring my girlfriend in so I could hold her hand while they were pushing the fatty tissue back into my wound so they could stitch me up. It is not there policy to let other family members in but they made an exception for me and I really appreciated that.

Very very slow and taking for ever from the waiting room till you see the Dr another 2 hours for 2 minutes meeting and i don't know why they taking forever if the Dr see you only for 2 minute's ‍️

Went in for pink eye. It took forever for them to give me eye drops because my heart was racing and they thought I was using drugs. I explained that I had anxiety. The nurse who saw me was very ableist, constantly berating me as well as the older patient in the next room. It really didn’t help my racing heart at all.
I think everyone there should take up some accessibility training. They don’t know how to treat disabled patients with dignity or respect.

My daughter was just in as she has been fatigued since being diagnosed with the flu in Mid-December. She also has been dealing with pain on her shins (likely stress fracture from sports training). The doctor was very rude and short with her. She chastised her for asking for an X-ray referral for her shins and the doctor wondered why she didn’t seek medical help while still back on campus (my daughter goes to school in the US and has to return this weekend). She is hoping to have a better grasp of her problems before heading away from home. The attending doctor could not have shown less concern. So much for being a “care physician. ” Could have been handled with so much more compassion. Try to avoid this place. Dr. Beattie was her name. She made my daughter leave in tears. Maybe we drew the short straw and the other doctor’s on rotation are better?

Treated with care and compassion. Very short wait time. Grateful to be seen so quickly. Overall a very good experience.

My 9 month old was turned away today because she had a cough. I show up at the clinic, the waiting room is completely empty. The receptionist confirms that they aren't full for the day. I explain that my baby has had on and off congestion and coughing for over a week but that today she started having quite intense coughing fits and I just want to have her checked to make sure it's not something more serious. My baby hasn't been exposed to COVID and I explained that I had tested her numerous times this week which always came back negative. I just wanted the reassurance as a Mom that these coughing fits weren't anything more serious. The receptionist rudely told me they wouldn't see her because she has a cough. If you have a SINGLE ONE covid symptom from their list they are refusing. When asked where should I go I was told to go to the hospital ER. So let me get this straight, we have over worked nurses and not enough hospital staff and ER's overloading with patients but we have EMPTY urgent care clinics because they're turning away patients if they have a cough? Will be filing some type of complaint or getting a higher authority involved. The doctor I finally saw at another clinic was absolutely appalled to hear this.

When you go tell them you don’t have a cough, or fever, only to the doctor when you ENTER in, otherwise they’re afraid of Covid even though they’re in healthcare they can just wear ppe like the rest of the world

A group of loser doctors that are there to bill OHIP and dish out scripts. Dr tome doesn’t even know his antibiotics dosing!

The receptionist, the nurse, and the doctor were all efficient and friendly. I was seen quickly, was able to get a prescription and have it filled in the same building. I would go back again next time I have any medical issues.

Excellent staff, I had gone early, so no real wait. Receptionist and nurse very friendly, and patient. Do not give healthcare workers a hard time! They are only doing their job to keep us all safe.

What a disgusting place, my grandson who is one.one years old, was directed to wear a mask, he is a BABY.what a joke!
The staff was extremly rude, especially the lady working the front desk, not to mention they were pushing a covid vaccine on the baby, telling his mother she needs to book an apt for his vaccine.all of your staff should be ashamed and embarrassed wish I could give zero stars

I was there with my sick daughter at 2: 15 and they were closed. If you have ever had to take a sick child out, and then find out the place is closed prior to the time on the website. Fuming doesn’t even come close.
If there was a 0 stars that would be your rating. You should put LAST PATIENT SEEN AT 3PM PLEASE Call Before wasting your time, and gas! Or closes between 2-3 pm on Sunday, then on the website put closed. Figure it out.
If you need a clinic to go to Tecumseh Clinic on Tecumseh rd, they don’t close until the time on the website.

Showed up after waiting 6 hours at the hospital to be turned away an hour and a half before they close and apparently the nurse said it’s not on her not her problem couldn’t give me advice where to go just go back to the ER and wait 6 hours I hate the healthcare system

The receptionist is horrible! All the Covid questions are so ridiculous! Never coming back here again! Avoid this place!

The older lady with glasses who's the clerk at the front is very demeaning and disrespectful towards those who haven't had their covid shots. This women is clearly on a power Trip still.so prepare to be berated or have snarky comments thrown at you If you tell her you don't have all your vaccines.

The nurse and doctor were both professional and polite, but the experience and attitude I received at the front desk for simply existing was disgusting.

Says they are open till 2 pm went there at 12: 30 she put the closed sign up right in front of me. With just one other patient in the waiting room. But the sign outside still says open. Worst clinic in Windsor. Very rude

Extremely rude and grossly unprofessional clinic that everyone should AVOID at all costs.
I went in with a very bad throat infection, and got told by the incompetent doctor that “if I didn’t have a fever, I wasn’t really sick”. Wasted 2 hours of my time waiting at this so-called clinic. Went to another clinic the next day and tested positive for strep infection and got antibiotics.

Please avoid this place if you do not want to waste your time with a rude receptionist and a doctor who will leave you without the necessary care.

Person at the clinic is resist she does not talk properly to students. Asking for hard copy of everything however we have been informed by university that just because of covid precautions no hardcopy are required to avoid direct contact. So disappointed

Reception is extremely rude. Will hang up the phone in your face while your asking basic questions and then when you call back, offended. They gladly admit it when you call back.

Terrible clinic, rude staff, incompetent doctor.

Doctor spent more time trying to convince me to take my kid to get a covid test then come back two days later even though he didn't present with COVID symptoms. Spent all of 2 seconds looking in his throat before sending us away. If he had actually bothered to care and examine my child he would have seen what was wrong with him.

Don't waste your time here.

Most unprofessional, unorganized clinic I have ever been too. Receptionist hates her life and takes it out on everyone, close two hours early so they can finish early. Waited almost two hours with six people in the waiting area. Felt like I was in a third world looking for medical care. Nice to see our fantastic Canadian health care is working like a fine oiled machine.

Took my daughter there she had head cold that was affecting her other health issues.yes she had some covid symptoms but we knew it wasn't covid. Because her other major breathing issues due to other health issues if she had covid she be hospitalized on a respirator with her health issues she got sent away told to go to covid Assessment Center for a test and come back two days later.could use help not be sent away. They need rapid covid test at these walk-in clinics. Didn't want to go emergency and end up getting covid and cost her health or her life. This is so sad when somebody can't get medical treatment they need right away and have to wait for a test that could come back negative and go days without treatment for something else this is costing people's Health.

Called to see if a doctor was working. I accidentally called the wrong urgent care. The receptionist answered in a very angry tone and then rudely responded. If you don’t want to be at work stay home…

My wife recently had surgery on her lower leg, and needed the wound looked at to check for infection. Receptionist told us that she should go to ER, but then allowed us to come in to see a doctor. After waiting over an hour, we are let back into the room to wait, and then a few minutes later two nurses come in and tell me that I have to leave. No real justification, just “against protocol” - other people were allowed to have a secondary person in their room but not us.
We never ended up seeing a doctor and left disappointed with the service here, who clearly were more about protocol than providing care to their patients.

The pharmacy here is excellent, but the “urgent care” walk in clinic is a place I will never be patroning again.

The receptionist is racist and unprofessional. My mom and I waited 4 hours to see an actual physician, not someone who did an 8 month course as a Medical Office Assistant. She never called out my mom’s overtly Muslim name. When I confronted her on this she did that thing where someone looks to the side and is very obviously lying. I also noticed, everyone else’s name she called out 3 and 4 times. My taxes pay her salary and she should lose her job immediately. That said, Dr Beatie is a wonderful physician-and I would know because I actually went to dental school. So sick of these racist government workers who treat immigrant families so poorly.

Receptionist is extremely rude and unprofessional. I waited at the window for 15 minutes until she finished her conversation with her co-worker about her dinner plans. I told her I needed a medical form filled out for school and she told me it’s $125. I get this completed every year and I have never ever had to pay this absurd amount of money. She did not give me a chance to speak - as she was so stuck up, snobby and entitled. I do not recommend this clinic don’t bother wasting your time here you will be disappointed.
