Mr. Ramirez was an absolute life saver when my life was turned completely upside down with a extreme unexpected flood! His knowledge put me at complete ease. His quick response and expedition of the clean up, was honestly incredible. I never felt left in the dark, and he communicated every step with me BEFORE it happened. Rather than during or after, like I’ve experienced in the past. He answered every call, email and text right away and talked me through the entire thing in real time. He discussed the options with me and really made me feel like I was the only client he was dealing with, when I’m sure he had serval on the go.

We had a hot water tank leak in our finished basement and our insurance arranged for WINMAR to do emergency remediation. Their Project Manager, Ezequiel, took the time to explain the next steps all the way to the end. He made it easy for us to select Winmar as the company that would complete the repair needed to get our basement back to its finished state. Ezequiel goes above and beyond to make sure we are comfortable with all the decisions that need to be made throughout the entire process. I highly recommend their services to those that would need it.

WINMAR was amazing to deal with. Our fence had fallen due to wind damage. Ezequiel came out to access the damage. He was extremely professional, very easy to deal with. He had his team come out right away to remove the fence and setup temporary fences. All through the process of getting the new fence installed. Ezequiel continued to communicate and keep me informed. The fence is now completed. It looks great! His team did an amazing job. They were very professional and their workmanship was outstanding. Our backyard looks amazing with the new fence. Would be happy to use WINMAR again.

My experience with Winmar was great. Fast to start the work. The site manager Ezequel was with me every step of the way and kept me informed in what was going on. The crews were hard working and very much a pleasure to deal with. I would recommend them anytime to anyone.

They disposed of family photographs and took jewelry from our home for cleaning which they now claim to have thrown away. They did not notify us at all and they were absolutely salvageable. There are also glaring omissions on our contents listing and an entire room at the house was missed. Other items taken for cleaning are also now missing.

When they said the jewelry was gone, Bill refused to disclose the name of the disposal company and it took another 24 hours to get it from James, even though this is time sensitive. Apparently they have been apologetic to our insurance company (who hired them), but definitely not to us. Really disappointed with our experience.

Petro and his co worker did an amazing job replacing our hardwood floors. They are masters at what they do. Very professional and accommodating with time lines. Highly recommend these guys to do any type of work in your home.

They took documents for restoration then couldn't find them for 6 weeks, then advised that they wouldn't clean them until I pointed out we had already been given that option, only then did they restore them.

We had concerns since March over how the asbestos was being handled and that there was no air quality check. Our insurance company advised they would do it at the end, but they did not do it. In April, they sent a message that the abatement had been completed. We have now asked for the Asbestos Abatement Certificate and they do not have it. During this time we thought it was safe to re-enter the house and some casual Windmar employees were only wearing N95s to enter which do not protect against asbestos fibres. Our insurance company is now sending the engineers in again to test for asbestos as no new company will continue work without the Asbestos Abatement Certificate.

I do not personally believe that the recent reviews here reporting excellent service could possible be real reviews as they do not align with our experience in the slightest. We have not had a good experience with them.

Terrible, Jamie has failed to respond to my secondary/follow-up phone calls. The one time we spoke, he seemed flustered, unprofessional, and brief with me.
I feel that everyone deserves a second chance.
But with him not even having the courtesy to answer his phone, or to respond to my texts and emails, he isn't cut out for customer service type of work.

Melina, John and the packing crew did an awesome job taking care of our belongings. They packed items like their own.

I have just had Petro HomeRenovations do work for me and Iam very pleased. Everything went very well. They paid a lot of attention and detail. Very pleasant and easy to deal with.at themed of every day, they cleaned up and left my place in excellent condition. I will certainly have them again! Thanks Winmar and Petro!
