Lunch there is great, particularly the fried rice and fish ball noodle soup. Dinner is also good at reasonable price. Love the steamed fish and fried chicken.
Very friendly service. Only one server was decent in English. Beef in the Cantonese cheow mein left little to be desired. Overall taste was ok. Sticky rice very savoury and the rest was as expected from decent to good chinese restaurant but the curry chicken was not tasty according to my Malaysian Chinese wife and daughter. Im Cdn-Korean. I found it to be just fine for myself. Green bean with minced pork was outstanding. We went when it was empty near 245pm on Sunday. Food is more like 3.75. I hate when Canto Chow Mein is disappointing.
No chance to have the service. That day I was told fully booked and also refused to serve take out. They said their business are very busy and need 2 weeks to reserve ahead. People are nice.
Food was fresh and really good. They did get an order wrong but no big deal. If your going for Peking duck you would need to pre order. I would suggest to go with a Chinese speaking person as I am a cbc and my Chinese isn't that good and my table spoke other languages so communication was a bit difficult. Overall great experience. Servers were so nice.
Came for a dinner the other day. Pretty standard Cantonese food options. But it's cool because you have your choice of dessert at the end: silken tofu, green bean soup, red bean sago, or herbal jelly.
I actually like the lunch here better, lot of dishes to choose from, and comes with a drink. Milk tea is pretty decent.
I used to come to this restaurant every week before Pandemic. Recently I came back for my first dine in for lunch and it’s a little disappointing. The price has gone up which I think it’s ok as it’s happening everywhere else, but the portion is? Small which is why I’m only giving it a 3 stars. Taste and quality are ok but I likely won’t return as there are better options out there.
Delicious Chinese food. Service was great and food tasted good too. Prices were reasonable. They also have private rooms which was nice for privacy. I especially loved the eel. It was super soft and flavourful. Highly recommend.
Came here for big lobsters in 2 flavours. Wonderful service where a party of 5 feasted on nothing but 11 lbs of lobsters until we were stuffed. Got complimentary cold drinks and desserts too!
Came here for lunch, they gave us short change and they came out asking for more service charge with an offensive attitude. Have been coming here for years but this will be the last time.
Surprised to see the significant improvement on food and service, new management took over the restaurant this July and had made a great effort to do their best! Bravo!
Excellent! Everything we had ever ordered for dinner was good to the value. Even we just ordered couple dishes (not the combo), they would give us soup and sweet soups for free, ever since we placed our first order there.
Made a last minute reservation for a Saturday evening, we ordered the lobster and maggi sauce, Vancouver crab (30$/lbs), vegetable dish with abalone and mushroom beef. The service was quick and efficient and the staff were very nice and attentive. The food was pretty tasty as well. The meal had a soup included as well and a variety of deserts to chose from at the end. Overall the experience was good. Would recommend checking out if your in the area and want to eat some seafood.
Avoid this restaurant if you can. The quality of the food is worse than a food court. My recent take-out experience was terrible. Not worth your time and money.
This place has amazing, delicious, traditional, fresh dishes! It's a great place to dine with large groups of friends and family and to fight to see who will pay the billnat the end of the yummy meal. The staff is super charming and I hope this place stays open till the end times when I come here with my future grand kids, despite the fact that climate change will most likely render most seafood, pork, beef, and chicken dishes inexistent in the near future.
Busy place for lunch, The signature fish ball noodle soup is excellent, the fried fish skin is a nice added touch to go with the soup. Service is attentive and efficient.
Highly recommend their fishball noodle on lunch menu. Very nice and tender fishballs. Price are not too expensive. Curry chicken on rice was another delicious dish. Haven't try their dinner menu yet, will try in the future. Overall 4 stars!
Fish Ball noodle and Curry Beef are both very good.
Updates: Recently their Curry and fish Ball noodle have changed. I don’t like it as much anymore. However, other dishes are still pretty good. Also the store does a great job on disinfecting each table and chairs at each table turnover.
