Recommended by my OB.very friendly and experienced staff and they are excellent at time keeping.

I always try to call this place at their business hrs but never could reach anyone! Never!

I’ve always had very pleasant receptionists,
I gave it 3 stars because it’s extremely hard to get a hold of anyone.

I’ve been calling within their opening and closing time and respecting their lunch close. It has been a week and I still can’t get anyone, you call and get a beeping sound, every day, all day.

Most of the technicians are quite nice but others don’t want you to talk or be there. With my first I had a gallbladder surgery and had to go see them and the pressure they were using was so painful. I thought my stitches would open up or my baby would come out: I did say some were nice, and those technicians that I had to chance to meet were kind hearted. They explained everything and went above and beyond making my experience great.

Sadly, out of 2 pregnancies where I had to have numerous ultrasounds I only have one good 3 second video. All of my other images that I’d pay (6$/each) look like I’m looking a brushstrokes.nothing looks human. So, this time around, I’ll advocate first and see if paying for an image of the top of belly is worth it.

If you’re looking for that perfect profile view image or clean picture of your baby in the tummy.even if you prepare and drink all the water, you will not get it here.

With my first baby my husband went in and he had a great experience, for the second is was during the pandemic so I went by myself, so my husband has a good impression of the clinic.

I’ve never felt rushed as I go in with the mindset that it’s a 10 min appointment, so it’s in and out.

I did pay to have some specialized ultrasound pictures at UCBaby where they offer 4D ultrasound and they take their time 20-30 min (depending on the package you chose and how much you pay).

Overall it’s great place, clean and convenient, you have the lab in the same location. As I finished writing this review, my call was taken and after 18 min on hold I spoke to someone, I have an appointment in 2 weeks.

This place would never let you book an appointment by calling. There’s Always someone says “pls hold” and you have to wait in hrs.

I went there twice and I was so lucky to have the best ultrasound technician. She was extremely kind, caring and professional. I wish I knew her name and could add it here.

I have visited this clinic many times, they are always punctual and on time and you do not wait. A technician named MaryAnne done my ultrasound yesterday, she was very detail oriented, experienced, competent and professional. She is lovely by all means! I would say she is the go to technician for ultrasounds at this clinic!

Ultrasound technician was very nice and explained everything she was doing. She worked extra hard to get us good pictures and video!

Only downside is the lack of parking.

I had very positive experience overall especially ith every technicians they are super friendly and patient! Specially impressed by Danniel, so so friendly with every request! My appointment is right on time almost no waiting as well.

I went to the woman’s ultra sound clinic for babies first appointment. They were quick and friendly. Very gentile. Can’t wait for my next appointment.

We have been to 3 ultrasound appointments and everytime it has been amazing. They have answered all our questions and went through step by step on the process. We are excited everytime we come and get to see our little girl.

Nothing but great experiences at this clinic. Emmie is an awesome tech and super friendly!

Dr. Schachter‘s receptionist was cold. At the time, she was the only available receptionist at the desk, I had a quick question to ask. It took her a while to acknowledge that I was waiting on her and when she addressed me, she did so with a rude tone and didn’t look my way as she gave one worded responses. It’s unfortunate because patients can be going through a tough time and her attitude can have an effect on them. The other receptionist were very pleasant and professional to interact with.

Went there for the first time!

Was charged $14 for only digital pictures and a short video. Not even a printout. What a rip off!

Been over 2 weeks and the results have still not been shared with the doctor.

Overall, Pretty bad experience!

Would give 0 stars if I could. I’m 17 going through my first pregnancy and went here, not only did they seem very judgmental of my age, but staff are not friendly at all. The receptionists ignore you, they are very rude and give very judgmental looks. The only time I’ve seen them be friendly to anyone is when it’s a 30 ish white women. The ultrasound technicians are also very emotionless, and don’t tell you anything they are doing, besides them mumbling to themselves. For one picture of YOUR own child, it’s 6$ and they don’t even offer them to you. The waiting room is always dirty aswell I’ve seen, chairs are broken and need replacement too. Just a terrible experience for my first pregnancy.

I have had a health concern that has brought to me this clinic frequently for years. I have always been treated well and cared for. I really appreciate, despite workload and stress that comes within a medical field, the staff do their best! I have witnessed some patient not being very nice (they are stressed too and I understand. But some of the “reviews” here aren’t fair) so I felt it was important to take the time to post a review.

If I could give them 0 stars I would. The lack of compassion and human decency is disgusting. Everyone is making concessions for Covid except this clinic. They charge for photos and videos with the excuse that they can’t allow video calls/personal pics incase we post it and someone finds an abnormality that they missed, it opens them up to lawsuits.
But…. You pay $12 for a couple of pics and an 8second video that is texted to your phone before you even leave the clinic.
They only care about the cash. No human decency. If you can go anywhere else, please do it. Don’t let this clinic ruin your baby experience with their lack of humanity and general decency.

As a pregnant women I didn’t need their poor services. They gave me false informations about my baby ultrasound and didn’t say sorry or nothing. The stress that they gave me made me go to the emergency to be told that everything is ok with my baby.

If you want to avoid a potential stress don’t go there or make sure they don’t play with your baby’s life.

Booking system inefficient and receptionists dismissive.

My first appointment went by without a hitch and the sonographer was kind and walked us through the images very professionally. But, in the end we paid 5$ for a copy of the image and it wasn't even good. We didn't have a chance to choose a second one. However, my second appointment completely fell through the cracks.

I booked an appointment for Friday, Dec 3,2021. When I had made the initial booking call, the receptionist put me on hold 3 times during the conversatio. And in the end, booked me for an appointment at 2: 30 on Friday Dec 3. I emphasized that it needed to be a Friday because my husband can only book time of work then. On the day off, I called at 1pm just to confirm my appointment (they don't confirm it with you unless you call). They said my appointment was yesterday (Thursday) and they cannot fit me in. I would never have booked an appointment on a Thursday.

So disappointing and I will not be coming back here.

The observation screen was broken the first time I was here with my wife and none of the personal information was updated when coming here again (2 years later but same information). What is specifically irritating this time around is the morning of our appointment, no calls were made to inform us that only my wife (1 person per appointment) could be present for the appointment due to COVID risk assessments. Just like every other medical facilities/departments, if you want people to believe in these vaccines, stop being this overbearing on people who have their vaccines; what's the point of getting them in the first place instead of just staying home. Sincere thank you for not allowing me to see the first footage of my child and having my wife to do this alone.

**UPDATE**

Today was a follow-up appointment (initial review/prior appointment was 2 weeks ago)

The observation screen was yet again broken (not sure if this was intentional due to my previous post or if their clinic is just poorly maintained) and my wife was not able to monitor the baby during this procedure. Furthermore, again not sure if this is a coincidence or not but the video and pictures we requested were not completely available; only 1 picture was made available.

I do believe that the medical staff are capable to determine if your child is safe and sound but I do not recommend this place if you have another option. Today, the relief of knowing our child is healthy and growing accordingly was rewarding but the experience of being able to see our child live on screen and or via video was non existent. Again, if you are looking for a full experience of this type of appointment (specially if it's your first child) I don't not recommend this clinic if you have another option.

Front receptionist was very rude and aggressive in tone. I unfortunately arrived 15 minutes late for my appointment, my tardiness was outside of my control and I was very overwhelmed. The receptionist instead of handling the situation in an understanding manner, proceeded to make degrading comments. I strongly believe this was due to my appearance as a visible minority. Horrible and overwhelming experience, that made me incredibly overwhelmed rather than comforted and understood in the least.

Me and my partner were looking forward to doing our ultrasound together. Clinic refuses partners to enter to it. They kicked me out as soon as I walked in. We tried to do a call during the appointment, and they also refused that. Only thing we could do was get their pictures, and they also charge extra for that.

Clean, professional, friendly and informative. My husband and I couldn’t have been more pleased. We received a digital copy of pictures and a short video which are great quality. After reading some of the reviews and ratings I was a bit nervous, but our experience was amazing.

I had such a great experience from the receptionists (who seem to basically work non stop) to my sonographer who was patient, kind, and informative. Plus the quality of their equipment and imaging was excellent. I will be coming back for the remainder of my pregnancy!

Two stars because I was disappointed with the ultrasound images I received. I had my first child in Toronto and was given a beautiful print out of my ultrasound with my name and date. It wasn't any special clinic, a regular ultrasound clinic.

But at the clinic at cleopatra, I paid $14 for a digital print and a video of our second child, but no identification on the image that it is my ultrasound. At least my name on it would have been nice as a keepsake. But these images are random and very unspecial. The front desk isn't very responsive either. Once the receptionist was friendly but the other times I went, they were borderline unfriendly and fail to acknowledge you for a long time while you're at the reception.

The office is clean and the staff are nice.

The photo they sent me of the ultrasound had a cursor in the middle. For $5 a photo the least you could do is make sure there’s no cursor in the way!

The parking is also a little annoying. You’ll need to buy a specific token to exit and nobody makes that clear to you.

The front desk staff as well as the technician were very friendly. The facility is clean and laid out well. The front desk staff should be commended for their excellent customer service and friendliness considering how busy they are and how many people ignore the (large) signs asking people to stand behind the red line.

Getting charged for a text messaged image in 2021. What am I paying for? Not ink or paper. And to have to have to pay when your partner can't even go in with you. So silly. Will avoid this place as much as I can.

I normally go to a different ultrasound clinic but decided to try this one. I was amazed with the staff and how quick and efficient they were. I don't remember my technicians name but she was very polite and made me feel at ease. I would definitely recommend this clinic 100%

This office is actually quite far away from my house but i insist to go there because of the great sevices. The staff are nice especially Maryann. She is knowledgeable and explain everything thoroughly. Thank you!

Two years later and STILL would only give one star. Front desk majority seem unfriendly and robotic and same with several of the technicians. Cold, no bedside manner even when dealing with a miscarriage. Took an entire week for results to be sent to my Dr.

I'm from Toronto, but had my last ultrasound done in Ottawa while visiting family. The Women's Ultrasound Clinic in Nepean was closest to where we were staying.

My experience was an overall positive one, and I was seen immediately upon check-in. The technology was quite advanced, which I appreciated, and my tech was nice (not outstanding, but kind enough). At the end of my appointment, she asked if I wanted photos and a video. Of course, my answer was "yes". I was a bit taken aback, however, when I was charged for both (I had never had to pay for US photos at my clinic in Toronto), and wish I would have been informed in advance. My response wouldn't have changed (it was worth the $14 for that eight-second clip of my baby's heart beating, alone), but it would have been good to know that there was an associated fee.

If I could give five stars, however, and what really prompted this review, it would be for the front-desk staff who I have called a few times to move an appointment around (I have another US scheduled at this clinic towards the end of December, when I'm in town next). The staff I spoke with was/were extremely kind, patient and helpful, and catered to my need for flexibility with dates. It did not go unnoticed.

That said, I've noticed several one-star reviews for this clinic, and hope that whoever is operating behind the scenes of the business is heeding the words of those clients who have not had a positive/satisfactory experience.

From my perspective, service should be consistent enough to warrant high marks across the board.

I was 10 minutes late for my 20 week Ultrasound this morning. After checking in and sitting in the waiting room for 20 minutes they called me up to the desk to tell me that because I didn’t arrive on time my ultrasound was cancelled. Unbelievable!

It’s a very busy clinic, make sure you arrive early!

The building doesn’t open until 8 am and I was checked in by 8: 10 am. I do expect them to be a bit more flexible.

Amazing service and procedure I had my ultrasound done by Nicole today and she was just fantastic! Super kind, fast, efficient and explained everything she was doing softly through out the entire ultrasound.

I came here for all of my ultrasounds for my first child back in late 2017-early 2018, and now with this pregnancy. Every time I call the ladies on the phone are pleasant and friendly. Every technician I've had (I have had different ones every single time) were so friendly, chatty and thorough. Yesterday, I was booked for the anatomy scan. I wish I could remember the name of the lady who I had. She was exceptional. Her 'bedside' manner was out of this world. She even double and triple checked the gender just so she could be 100 percent positive as baby was crossing her legs. She offered to write the gender on a note so my husband and I could find out together. She made an already exciting experience that much better.
Bonus, out of all the times I have been here I have never waited longer than maybe 5 minutes after my schedule time. Love this location!

My first two appointments at the clinic was great. The staff working those days were super nice. My my doctor booked my anatomy scan at 18 weeks, I was super excited and anxious. Unfortunately, this scan and the one after that were absolutely horrible.

Pretty much the same story as E. W and Jessica's review. I had the same tech Rasheeda. First thing she said was "why are you here? " At first i thought she was joking, then realized she wasn't, following with "your doctor should know not to send you so early. So did you book the appointment? " I said no it was my doctors office who did. She went on complaining though out my scan the baby is too small to see anything.
She was able to get most pictures excepted for two things because my baby decided to flip.

Went in a second time and it was her again. Once again telling me that I should have waited 4 weeks. I left the appointment very upset thinking something was wrong with my baby’s growth. My doctor reassured me my baby was fine and the tech was outline. He said he would look into it, but not sure if anything will come out of it.

I had several routine pregnancy ultrasounds at this location with multiple sonographers. The place is clean and tidy. The receptionist is ok. I always get the appointment times I request, and never have trouble finding free street parking. The procedure was done professionally by the sonographers. Although, it was tough due to COVID-19 and with new policies of not being able to bring the partner in due to which my husband missed out on seeing the baby’s profile and hearing the heartbeat during all the scans.but the sonographers always made me at ease during the procedure, even explained in detail which baby part we are looking at on the screen which I found was very helpful for the first time mothers like myself.

However, I am disappointed with their technology and printer. It is extremely old due to which the ultrasound pictures are very grainy. They charge $5/pic which I find is very expensive. I recommend them to update their printers for better quality pictures. They can also send you the pictures and videos digitally via Tricefy; however, the charge is $10 which is soooo expensive. The pictures should be a gift to the mothers who are so excited and want to take the photo’s home. Atleast, digital pictures should be of no cost so that we can get them printed professionally ourselves.

4. I was told to put my phone away when I pulled it out to note the age of the baby. It wasn't even pointed near the screen.
5. The electronic parking machine was out of order.
6. The on-site ATM charges $3. $3 paid parking soon turned into $6. In Nepean!? !?
7. The person running the cafe chased after us once she saw we were changing $20 to loonies in the change machine. I guess the parking situation is such a mess that she is unable to keep change. I can't fault her at all, just a victim of terrible building management practices.

There's plenty of ultrasound clinics with free parking and pictures, which is where we'll be going in the future. What should have been a happy and exciting day turned into a very uncomfortable experience and added unnecessary stress.

I would have given 2-3 stars as the staff were generally nice and friendly, but the phone incident just made me want to leave in the middle of the procedure.

Personally I had a good experience. Everyone was nice, it was quick but I didn't feel rushed and the tech I had was super informative.

This place has awful customer service. I went in for an ultrasound at 7 weeks pregnant, and after the ultrasound was complete, they handed me a sheet and said “give this to the doctor next door”. This sheet literally stated at the bottom that I had miscarried, and they had the audacity to simply hand this to me without any care in the world. Either they thought I was too dumb to bother reading it, or they are completely heartless and have no ability to handle such a serious matter in a sensitive way. The doctor i saw after this displayed no empathy or condolences for my loss of my baby. She was cold and spoke in a patronizing tone to both me and my partner. Everybody in the office was both condescending and rude, despite the fact that they were aware that I had just suffered a loss. I am extremely disappointed with this clinic and how they handled my situation and I will never be returning.

I needed to come and share my experience because I was a bit worried after reading the reviews once I'd already booked my appointment.

The receptionists were very friendly and informative when booking my appointment and checking me in, my appointment was slightly early which was much appreciated and the tech was very kind and informative throughout the short appointment. I never expected to be there for very long, I was in for a dating ultrasound so once the info is obtained that's all there is to it. I think with realizing they can't do diagnostics it makes the experience much more enjoyable. I appreciated that my husband was able to come in with me as well as I've heard other places that do these ultrasounds don't allow them in. Overall, I am very happy and will be continuing with this ultrasound clinic as my pregnancy progresses.

Read the (mostly negative) reviews before going so I wasn't sure what to expect.but I can't find anything to complain about. Easily found free street parking, directly in front of the building. Receptionists were efficient, not overly friendly but not rude either.my appointment was on time and my technician was very nice and answered my questions.waiting room was big and clean enough, cant complain. I will go back here for my next ultrasound.

I loved them because they're nice and the little place is clean and quiet but the ultrasound pics they give you are very bad and you can't even chose them. Super blurry and they charge 6$. Everywhere else they give them free and they even give multiples. Never paid for pictures for other pregnancies until I went there. Not fair.

I have been going here for years (10+) due to stage 4 endometriosis. Went here yesterday June 20th and had a scan tech who was extremely rude, no bed side manners and I had to say sorry for all the questions, “I’ll shut up. ” I told her about my surgery in October, making sure my requisition said I had my left ovary and tube removed (I am only 26) and it felt like I was nothing her. No compassion when I teared up or said I was in excruciating pain. The appointments are usually on time and receptionists are always friendly but due to this the scan tech I will be going somewhere else for a scan in the future.

Good clinic, girls at the reception are working very well, nurses and doctors are attentive and competent

This place literally deserves less then one star. It’s a horrible place. Everyone that worked there were so rude. They didn’t wanna answer any phone calls and made everyone look so stupid. They were super disrespectful and made us feel worried about the baby. They didn’t care at all. I do not recommend for anyone.

I've had 3 ultrasounds at this clinic so far and all have been great experiences. The technicians are friendly (I was originally worried after reading other reviews, but my ultrasounds have all been wonderful!).
You do have to pay $6 per sonogram, which I think is a bit ridiculous but oh well. My only complaint is that it's really hard to book appointments as the phone lines are seemingly always busy and you can't book online.

Super rude girl working this morning. In terms of patient care, I would recommend elsewhere. Kept cutting me off when I was trying to speak, and I was polite and in no hurry.

Great experience! Great location, nice clean medical clinic.very courteous reception staff.have been 3 times already with 3 different technicians and all were really nice, and patient with me and my husband. Highly recommend.
