I've been a patient of Dr. Giftochristos for the last 21 years, and over the last couple years I've noticed that I don't matter. When I call for help, there is none. You're better off looking for a doctor anywhere but here, because here, if I died tomorrow, they wouldn't care in the slightest. You don't matter to these people, and they will leave you on hold for hours just to remind you later that you and your health mean nothing to them.

Oct 26,12: 20pm called in and spoke with Shona to leave a message for my family doctor, Dr Davidson.

Once I relayed the information, we proceeded to end the call. However, Shona was not aware I was still connected on the call and proceeded to share with her work mate, Charlette, " I don't know how you do this day after day, listening to patients bla, bla, bla"

I replied, excuse me I am still on the call.

This is disrespectful and could have been handled professionally.

Dr Jaine is great but I’m switching doctors because of the rude receptionists and when you call you have to wait over 2 hours and then they hang up on you so you have to call back and wait another 2 hours and the fact that I can never get an appointment when I need it. I tried to get my six week old son his six week check up and they offered me a date two weeks after he’s six weeks like he’ll be eight weeks then. I thought babies were important and were to be seen first before anyone. Especially a baby who was born six weeks early and was in the nciu for twenty days.

Called to get information bout any nearby Raam clinics or if any doctors could pursue in information. The receptionist had no clue what a raam Clinic was so I ask if any doctors could examine but was told no but yet was told I could from another sorry for trying to get healthy and live a better life they cared so much for me she even huffed and puffed like she reaaaaly cares time to get people who actually want to help people may as well go to the hospital, plus just being told how their receptionist aren’t even trained properly and to be told to make a doctors appointment.very professional I have made a doctors appointment thank you

Love Love that they now have same day appiontments. You just have to be there when they open (M-F 8). Or call but you are running the risk of not getting apt) they go very fast. It's a fantastic addition to their services. Dr. Nick is the best. Very kind and doesn't take any chaces with your health. I have been with him for almost 20 years and wouldn't go anywhere else.
They also added online but I haven't tried that yet.

This clinic is terrible. You can't ever get through to them and extremely long waits. Called today at 11: 15am now 2: 30pm still waiting in caller wait list, I asked my partner to call and clinic was closed! Why wouldn't they answer the calls before closing. Over 3 hours wasted. This is the first I had extremely long hold times with them. They need to get their secretary service in line.

You have a better chance of getting good care by going to a walk-in clinic this Office has gotten to the point of being almost a useless waste of time

This place doesn't even deserve 1 star. Most unprofessional office I've seen in my life. Took them over a month to send 1 piece of paperwork, which was needed so that a procedure could be done. Have had to wait for them, and reschedule the appointment twice. Then they sent it to the wrong place.no words for the level of sheer ignorance and disregard here. 12 Admin staff and not even 1 whole brain.

EDITED TO ADD:
During pandemic related lockdowns everyone at this clinic went above and beyond. After personally experiencing what they go through on a daily basis, I can't even imagine wanting to get up and go to work in the morning. Very proud to have this clinic and Dr Stribbell available to me.

Dr. Stribbell is amazing. I have no complaints regarding the other doctors and Bailey at reception is a gem.but trying to get through on the phone is IMPOSSIBLE. I have been on hold for a combined total of 160 minutes today alone as well as multiple times during the week.
Hopefully this issue is being addressed as otherwise this clinic and its doctors are fantastic.

My partner has been a long time patient since childhood but once moved to Toronto we changed doctors STAT! This has got to be the absolute WORST experience I've ever witnessed from for a family doctor and medical facility in my life! From the extremely long waits for a requisition, the lack of bedside manner and waiting for tax forms to be signed FOR MONTHS because the family doctor refused to sign because he felt the specialist should be signing it, despite the form allowing either a specialist or family doctor to sign. Absolutely good riddance and so happy I never have to watch this train wreck experience again!

Wait times are insane. 45 to an hour hold time when you call. Most of the reception staff are great.some are rediculously surley. Dr.stribbell is incredible. Building is nice and clean.

Reception is always rude. Reception treats patients as if they are an inconvenience. Thankfully the doctors themselves are amazing and do not treat patients in the same manner.

I have been a patient for over 20+ years. During that time I learned strategies to avoid wait times (Like booking the second appointment of the day to ensure my daughter and I didn't have to wait 2 hours to see my family doctor), but never have I waited 20-60 minutes ON HOLD to speak with reception to book an appointment. This is INEXCUSABLE AND UNPROFESSIONAL. It wasn't until I went in to the Walk In Clinic that one of the administrators at my doctors office came and offered to fit my daughter in. I agreed, and asked about the new phone system and how I couldn't believe I had to wait an average of 40 minutes to speak with someone.they were apologetic and explained that there are now have 8 doctors. Okay, SO WHY DO THEY NOT HAVE MORE ADMINSITRATIVE STAFF TO DEAL WITH THE HIGHER VOLUME OF INCOMING CALLS?

I like my Doctor but the practice is overwhelmed. Wait times on telephones can be very long and the music is bad. Disorganized probably because of sheer volume of patient's needs. Staff could try to reflect more empathetically. Please

Dr Stribbell is a fantastic doctor. She’s very easy to talk to, and has an outstanding work ethic. She works very hard, and seemingly never drops the ball. The support staff are the same. They are efficient, knowledgeable, and work their butts off the keep this very busy clinic running smoothly. Thanks for all your hard work! It does not go unnoticed.

Absolutely ridiculous to reach anyone. New phones are brutal. Have to invest an hour just to speak to someone who tells you that you need to wait 2 weeks to speak with your doctor or a month to see them in person! No wonder hospitals are overwhelmed.

This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my entire life. The hold times are atrocious.then you get hung up on and the receptionist could care less. They almost have a higher than though attitude when talking to them. Absolutely ridiculous. Currently been on hold for 51 minutes.another 20 minutes to go to get a prescription renewed

Doctors are fantastic here. Their phone system is awful and never works. Front desk staff put up with a lot of unpleasant patients making it difficult to deal with them. 1.5 months to see your dr NOT ok

Love the new phone system, although it doesn't need to give me a minute by minute countdown for my hold time lol, my doctor is great, the front ladies are usually fairly pleasant to deal with and I love the new location, better parking plus access to xray/ultrasound on site if preferred.
