Wooden Heads Gourmet Pizza

Delicious food, really warm atmosphere and polite service staff. Will definitely return when in town.

The Cesar salad was great, very fresh and seasoned perfectly. The Americana pizza had a crispy thin crust and toppings were not salty. The pizza was delicious.

I've been to Wooden Heads several times, but I think they have outgrown their status as a high end restaurant. They offer no specific Vegan options (no vegan cheese), their indoor furniture and decor is quite dated and worn. Their food is good quality and their patio is a great location, but there is much better in Kingston now a days. I expected more from a place like this, they will be one of the last to update their offerings.

We have eaten four times previously at Woodenheads, always liked our meal. Maybe it was an off night but the pizza crust was soggy, the pizza toppings were sparse so it tasted like dough with marinara sauce. For an upscale pizza place, it was disappointing.

Gourmet pizzas are the way to go at this restaurant. The crust is very thin so the toppings are the highlight. The Nona Mela was amazing; the chicken has a bite to it, and the apple butter is a unique flavour. The cheddar for me didn't add much, and it could be improved with a creamer cheese, but it was still great. Our second pizza was a Campagne, the tomato sauce is chunky and tangy, the double smoked bacon is like dice sized pieces of prosciutto. We also had caesar salad, it was okay. It is tangy more than creamy like a Renee's. The croutons are crunchy and delicious. I also had the salmon vivace, which was excellent. The salmon was not overcooked, which is unusual at a restaurant. This is our 4th visit, and so far, everything has been excellent. This is a family-friendly good eatery. Dinner for 4 will run you $120-$150.

Service was excellent and food was equally as good if not better! Highly recommend for just a casual night with a friend or two!

Best wood oven pizza I've tasted in Canada! Every time I'm back in Kingston, I go to Wooden Heads Gourmet Pizza.

We had the Spanakopizza, the coco shrimp and a marco. They were all so scrumptious. Hope to be back again.

Amazing pizza and the service is always top notch. Quality hasn't changed since I was a student living here and we always try to stop by whenever we pass by Kingston.

The staff are so friendly and helpful, even when they’re crazy busy, they take the time to make sure you’re happy and that your dining experience is perfect. We sat in the back patio and it was so cool; it’s the perfect spot to meet up with family and friends safely and enjoy a great meal.

Seating was kind of a nightmare, but we only had a 20 minute wait on a Friday night for a table of 3, so Id say thats great. This is not your local pizza place: it will have toppings you've never seen and have no idea what they are, but just ask questions! The staff was so attentive and helpful, and the end result was an amazing meal.

Instant recommendation to family and friends coming to visit Kingston. Exceptional thin crust pizzas and also some incredible entrées. The Kai Mekong chicken has become one of my favourite dishes in Kingston!

One of the most authentic gourmet pizzas I’ve had in a long time, reminded me of a trip to Florence. The staff & service are great, they have a road side patio and seating in the back if you’re looking for something more private. Very diverse menu, including a lot of vegetarian options and make your own pizza option (works well with kids)! Loved the iced coffee!

Amazing! I cannot say enough good things. The food was incredible, the staff were fantastic and the atmosphere was great. Super clean and great about following covid protocols. We will DEFINITELY go back.

Best pizza in Kingston. It's less convenient than fast food pizza places, so I tend to come here less often, but fast food can't beat the experience of sitting down at the restaurant and ordering a custom, high quality pizza.

Great food and service. So much much more than pizza on the menu too. Edit - make sure you have a reservation it is crazy busy and not so good that it is worth waiting an hour or more.

Amazing wood oven pizza options to choose from as well as appetizers & sandwiches. True authentic Italian feel to the restaurant. Nice little patio on the sidewalk and road. Make reservations it does get packed Bon appétit

The pizza here was so good. I would definitely stop by if you’re in the area. Dough is excellent, toppings are fresh. The dessert was also really good. Service was good. They don’t take down names or a number if you walk in, you just have to wait right outside the restaurant until a table is ready so I would suggest making reservations ahead of time.

I took my buddy Zeke out for dinner and it was great. My server was sarah and she was super nice and accommodating. I would love to come back and have a serving experience like this again soon. Thanks woodenheads for a great night.

Amazing food, and impecable service. Blackened chicken, potatoe cake and cream sauce.one of the best meals I have had in Kingston in a while (and I work in the industry) Worth every dollar, highly recommend if you want night out!:)

Never before have I gone three days straight ordering a salad from a restaurant. I can’t get any sleep dreaming of woodenheads insalaté.

Somehow we weren't as impressed as everyone else. Nice ambience, food extremely average. For us just didn't live up to the hype

Food is unbelievably good! We order take out from here during these tough times. Even by the time we get home and enjoy it, it is so good still. We usually get a small pizza for the kids and various main course meals. Haven't been disappointed! Pick up is super easy, will definitely be going back numerous times.

I’m not exaggerating when I say that for a “casual” place they have a customer-centricity normally reserved for the finest of dining establishments. And don’t get me started on the food. We shared 3 starters and 3 pizzas and everything was delicious. Great food in a great atmosphere, with great service.
