Had a neck reset done and very happy with result. Other minor issues were addressed in the process too. Guitar plays great, sounds great!

Seems to be someone who not only truly cares about doing a solid job on the instrument, but who also wants to serve his clients. Importantly, by all appearances he doesn’t try to ‘up sell’ either.

His YouTube videos are exceptional. You end up learning a great deal. Yet with the bonus that you never felt at all like you were being ‘taught the lesson’. Rare these days to say the least.

I would send my prized (sentimental) instrument to Mr Woodford without any worry at all. As long as the shipper got it to & fro without issue, I know he would care for ‘it’, and for ‘me’ as the customer.

From what I’ve seen online, this guy is deliberately, painstakingly, slow. He’s also accurate, and also detailed in his pursuit of excellence.

People giving one star due to non contact or long wait times or other. Is not worth taking the work. Never happy types

Ted does amazing work. He's done neck resets to simple setups for me and everything in between. Always top notch.

Does excellent and goes the extra mile to make sure his customer is satisfied. I wish there were more like him.

I'm sure his skill is as mentioned but don't waste your time for an inquiry, he claims he is booked for the rest of the year (it is February of 2023) Just go somewhere else, don't even bother.

Seems to just be a out-of-home business and probably shouldn't even be listed as one; as you will never get to actually get your instrument serviced unless you are willing to wait an entire year or are closely associated with the owner.

Ted is the master of guitar repair.and has great merch (sent to the daughter of Barlow Guitars, master luthier)

Thoughtful craftsman charging reasonable prices with good turnaround. Specializes in structural work on acoustic guitars. Can not
recommend more.

Found Ted’s videos on YouTube and was pleasantly surprised to find out he was local. I booked an appointment to have our Martin set up and he was super quick and knowledgeable. I would recommend Ted to anyone looking to have excellent quality work done to their guitars.

I have seen every one of Ted's videos on his youtube channel twoodfrd. I went from a musician who had never played guitar to a luthier and fine woodworker throughout the process and have learned much of what I know from Ted. He is a master of his craft, and his work is impecible. Ted is an excellent luthier and educator on the craft of building, repairing, and maintaining stringed musical instruments, and I am certain his work has left an impression on musicians, luthiers, and woodworkers across the globe. Thank you for your service to humanity.

I've watched every single one of his Luthiery videos as I've become one myself. His knowledge and experience is second to none. I equate him to the Legendary Dan Erliwine. You'll find no better in a thousand mile radius.
