Woodlands Wildlife Sanctuary

We were referred to Woodlands by Shades of Hope as they were not accepting any animals at this time. We found five orphaned squirrels on our property over the course of three days. Called Woodlands and they said they could take them in. Told us how to care for these little guys until we could transport them. Every person I spoke to was so kind and caring. I’m happy to say all five babies are doing well. Thank you for taking them and all the other critters you have in your care. We need more places like Woodlands.

Working and volunteering here over the summer was one of the best experiences of my life. The people are amazing and the ability to play a part in the rehabilitation of an orphaned or injured animal is a truly rewarding experience. Monika and the volunteers are incredibly committed to the welfare and recovery of every animal that comes through the sanctuary doors. I learned so much from my time there and can't wait to go back.

What a wonderful place that takes such good care of injuried wildlife!

Great spot run by dedicated people who truly care for the animals they rescued. Had a quick chat with them and was very impressed. But shame it's not open to the public to be able to see the progress of the animals being cared there.
