I don’t see the hype. Burgers are a funny texture, small and lacks flavour. Fries are boring

Ive never had a bad burger.
Everytime I've been in its busy and saying they have usually 3 members of staff working, they've always provided kind, communicative and friendly service whilst making great burgers without long waits.

A tasty burger joint with a lot of choice. The portions are very large (by European standards anyway). And the food is very tasty. It's not too expensive and has a great atmosphere. Definitely recommended if you are in the area. There is a lot of parking space in the area so that's great too!

Outstanding!

Quality burgers cooked to perfection with quality ingredients. I had the 'coronary' and I could taste every ingredient in every bite. The crisp bacon, the fried egg, the cheese. I had the Yukon Gold fries as a side and they were delicious as well.

I highly recommend this place.

I got the Nashville Chicken burger and 5p/50 fries (half regular half sweet potato) and everything was delicious! You can smell the wood fire the moment you walk in. The lady who took our order was very nice and helpful. I would definitely return to try more of their menu. They have quite a few tables inside and on their patio.

Great and delicious hamburgers for a good, decent price. The people are friendly and courteous. I recommend it

Been looking for some tasty burgers when near the long branch area. Finally found myself one! Delicious burgers great vibes! Excellent customer service.

Also love the patio seating and the staff being super nice and welcoming of pets to the point they even provide water for my doggy.

We were super hungry and went out of our way to visit Woodys. Looked up their menu online, everything sounded great!
Ordered 2 burgers, drinks, frings, coleslaw & had a seat.
Very very hot inside right off the bat, and an overwhelming smokiness in the air. To the point where it was hard to breath.
Food didn’t take too long but what a disappointment. Burgers were way overcooked, bacon tasted like it was precooked and reheated to the point of leathery texture. A few strings of fried onion and a tiny slice of mushroom on my burger. French fries were fry bits, so tiny. Onion rings were good but that was it. Coleslaw was a hard no.
Overall terribly disappointed, we left feeling greasy, inside & out, & very down on the whole experience.
Will not return and what a waste of almost $60 for 2 people.

Frozen patties, cheese between 2 patties doesn’t mean stuffed, bacon was totally burnt and the place is dirty, I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy.

Best burgers in Toronto. The fries are out of this world. I'd travel across the city to eat here.

Great burgers - thoroughly enjoyed. Even though ownership seems to have changed, the food still tastes great! Quite pricey but a nice treat.

Wood-fired burgers! This is the best burger joint in Canada. Beef, bison, chicken, and even stuffed burgers. Huge selection of burger toppings. Beer on tap. Nice patio.

Greatest burgers around. Such a wide selection including gourmet burgers! Blue cheese stuffed burger was unbelievably tasty as was the cheddar one.
Fried onions on top a must. AND fantastic homemade sweet potato fries with chipotle sauce!

This place is disgusting, I have been in the area for well over 16+years and they changed ownership before the pandemic. It’s owned by Indians that serve you frozen burgers from a nofrills box. The original Woodys you could see they had fresh Pattie’s, never frozen on the grill and were always so juicy and extremely fresh. Please go elsewhere, this place went completely downhill.

Not as good as it used to be. We went on a Friday, and waited over 40min for food, the place wasn't super busy, but definitely understaffed. Felt bad for the one staff that was taking orders, servibg food, tending to the icecream bar, manging deliver orders all at the same time.

If you want a delicious, fresh burger, this is the place. They actually have a turkey burger which is difficult to find at any burger place. Service was friendly and fast. I recommend this place to anyone who enjoys a good burger.
