The khichuri is my most favorite but the amount I got for 18 dollars is ridiculous. It didn't make me full. Twice of that portion would make me full but that would be 36 dollars. The amount of food I got for 18 dollars is the smallest ever I've got in Toronto. Not recommended.
It’s in new Bangla town. You will take stairs to go downstairs for the restaurant, it’s not in street level. I loved the part that this restaurant opens late. We went there on Friday night at 2 am. We ordered desi tea and daalpuriand Halim. The food was presented nice. The server was very friendly. He accepted whatever we wanted to order with his smile even though it was almost time to close. I would give all the stars except for one that there was no bathroom tissue in the washroom or paper towel or soap. I hope management will keep an eye. If you want to bring more customers in the restaurant compare to other Bangladeshi restaurants, you must have a clean washroom. It was clean, but other stuffs were missing. It was a happy feeling when we walked inside the restaurant and food smell yummy and a Bangla song playing. I hope this restaurant will stay longer and we will have a regular meet up or hang out place whoever are missing Bangladesh and want to have a taste like home. Best wishes.
Simply i would like to say food quality and service extremely good.i wish and hope everyone should visit get the experience… and best wishes for woondal family.
I was there for dinner with 10 people and spent almost $200 without knowing the test of the food. Chicken chaap was smelling really bad, Morog polao was not even close to the test, kala vuna has no flavor, Teheri was cold and test less, It was a horrible experience and really frustrating after having dinner there even onion in the salad was bad too. City should close their place asap for Robbing people
I think I became their family member cuz I been there so many times actually I always go. Their food quality excellent service outstanding. I will recommend this restaurant to visit you will definitely fall in love with their food n service. This is my most favourite restaurant now. Thanks to everyone who involved with this restaurant. Thanks Tanvir, Arif, Tonni and everyone else
It was our first time at this restaurant when we saw that they are offering chicken chaap. However, when the food came, it was nowhere close to chicken chaap. If the chef thinks that basically calling chicken Tikka pieces as chicken chaap then they really need to learn what's authentic chicken chaap is. We haven't tried other food items yet but we had tea, puri and their tea is nowhere close to what other 3-4 bengali restaurant offering basically water and quantity wise let's say nothing. One restaurant closed down in the same place and woondall opened up and they really need to pick up the pace.
Started going to this place recently & loving their food but finally got upset with the service. Today I went there to buy some food & was waiting at the counter for 10 minutes. Although there was a crowd at the restaurant, 3 guys were standing at the counter doing nothing & didn’t even look at me let alone talk. To be honest, I appreciate the cordiality of the lady. She is the only person to maintain professionalism but the others are not ever. Never going back.
I am the regular customer of this restrurant from day one, Best service in bangla retrurant. All are friendly with warm welcoming. Always quick service. Me specially fan of beef tehari. I strongly recommend to get the best service even though its busy all the time. Best wises for them so that way they can open more branch in Toronto.family friendly environment.
Starting from the service, food, quality and atmosphere. This restaurant checks all the boxes when it comes to authenticity. Wide range of Bangladeshi dishes to choose from, friendly service, great portion sizes. A cozy spot that every Bangladeshi or anyone wanting to try Bangladeshi food for the first time should definitely try.
Had the butter chicken and beef curry and they were out of this world. The meat was fall off the bone tender and the sauce was just perfect for dipping the garlic naan. Our server was an absolute gem and was kind enough to offer us free rice and a drink. I couldn't recommend this place enough and will definitely be back.
Specially recommend Beef Shatkara, Beef Kalabhuna, Beef Tehari, Haleem. Praiseworthy efforts from a group of YOUNG Bangladeshi-Canadian entrepreneurs. Kudos!
