Wyandotte Medical Building (Wyandotte at Lauzon Walk-In Clinic)

**Updated May 2023 - One of the only clinics in the entire city that still insists on enforcing masks, even though all COVID restrictions have been dropped long ago. And I get really tired of all these medical offices that insist on blasting dance and hip-hop music in the waiting room. If you have to play music, you should be playing something relaxing and gentle, like classical, not dance club thumpa-thumpa.

Staff are friendly, although ferocious about not helping anyone over the lunch hour, which means you should never attempt to go to this clinic between noon and 1: 00. And don't go immediately after lunch, because the entire clinic, every examination room, reeks of the god-awful spicy food they eat over the lunch hour. Sitting and waiting for the doctor to come in and see me, I found the stench absolutely nauseating. But time your visit right, and you'll likely have a good experience.

Dr. Gandhi was so nice and did a thorough examination. The wait time was also very short for the walk-in clinic. I only waited for about 5 minutes. It was great!

It is the nicest place i ever visit. Dr. Lee he is really good in explain the things and treating. And the staff in the reception also really good.

Doctor Lee or whatever the asian doctors name is was extremely rude when describing the symptoms I have been having like they were not big deal.looks like he is 10 years old and acts like he is 8 years old.

Let me get the obvious out of the way: just an awful overall experience. I called before showing up asking if they would take patients and the receptionist told me that they would if patients show up before 7: 00 p.m (F. Y. I.they close at 8: 00 p.m.). Despite having the flu, I drove 20 km, stood in line for another 15 minutes or so, and when it was my turn to hand over my health card, that same receptionist told me they were no longer taking patients even though it was still 6: 45 p.m. She was impervious to my pleas. Needless to say, that drive back home felt like the longest I've ever had. Do yourself a favor and avoid this clinic at all costs.

Hurt my arm and was sent for X-rays. I was told it may take a day or two. Called them every day for 8 days never got any results so I went to another clinic had my answer the same day

Dr. Lee and his staff are always friendly and accommodating. I needed a doctor that was understanding and dr. Lee and his staff are always there for me. I definitely recommend this clinic!

They dont deserve any star at all. No wonder why there's a lot of people giving a bad review and they are all correct. The people at the reception were very rude, incompetent and unprofessional!

I called Dr. Gandhi's walk in clinic to inquire if I need to book for appointment and the lady that spoke to said I don't have to because it is a walk in clinic and when we got there, they asked if we have an appointment because they are only taking people with appointments and asked us go back around 1pm.

We came back and we were treated rudely and unprofessionally. They have advertised "short wait" for their walk in clinic but of course it was a lie. We have waited like more than 1 hour. I don't mind to wait if the service was great and treated with respect but we were treated the opposite.

Sadly, the doctor is not any better either.

Felt compelled to write this review as so many bad ones exist, which I don't understand. I've been in twice (others in my family have been as well), once for a back spasm after starting a new job and another for ear pain. Each time Dr. Ghandi and staff have been very helpful, friendly, and professional. It's become my family's go-to clinic. I absolutely recommend them.

The girl at the front desk needs to be trained on how to deal with people. Very poor customer service. The new doctor there needs to put a smile on her face.way away from being a DOCTOR

I’m surprised this clinic has so many low stars. This is my go to clinic (we live close by). I have a 7mo old in daycare who’s constantly sick. We are here almost twice a month. They are so friendly from the office girls to the actual doctor. She’s great! I’ve never had a bad visit with her and our longest wait was maybe 45 minutes.

This walk in clinic is amazing. From the staff to dr. Ghandi, we absolutely love coming here. Dr Ghandi is kind, efficient, consistent and considerate. Want to change family drs because of how great the staff is. Well oiled machine here.

Staff is wonderful and caring. Very grateful that Dr. Gandhi and Dr. Lee are here at this practice, always willing to help

I recently visited this clinic simply for a doctors note for work, due to a reoccurring health issue that I have been struggling with for years and felt totally hopeless about, after seeing multiple specialists and basically being told this is a common thing for women and there’s nothing they can do to help me.
Today, Doctor Ahmed Raheem treated me with care and concern and took the time to look into this issue, he shed more light on it than any specialist/doctor ever has. He put a name to my condition, he even went out of his way to print off all the information about it to take home with me, he gave me hope when I had given up.
I truly couldn’t be more grateful and relieved.

These people are doing their jobs. They're doing their very best in a very demanding and understaffed field that they can.

I had a slip and fall, I needed a note and a check up to see if I was up to code. They treated me with respect, I was in and out within 30min. Same with my other experiences that I've had with other injuries or concerns. Been seeing their walk in clinic doctors for years. These people are amazing and I would strongly recommend them.

After being to numerous walk-in clinics in the Windsor area and finding no help and results whatsoever.being treated like just a number, I was talking to a friend about the subject and they recommended the walk in clinic on Wyandotte and the corner of Lauzon at which dr. Gandhi, a great and caring physician is.
I am forever grateful to this friend for referring me there! They are so friendly upon walking in and try to assist and comfort people like me who have multiple medical conditions and are seeking help. At a time when it was very hard to find a doctor to see you in person due to covid restrictions, doctor Gandhi's door was always open and welcoming!
She took her time, listened and was sympathetic.suggesting and asking questions to get better knowledge so she can help me.she actually cared!
I am proud to say that two months later she is now mine and my husband's primary care physician! Talk about being at the right place at the right time! My health is improving and I can finally have peace knowing that something is being done by a knowledgeable caring physician that is in it for all the right reasons.

Was hit with really severe heartburn out of nowhere and the staff were super quick, very nice, and Dr Gandhi saw me immediately. I was in and out in 5 min. Im at home with a prescription, resting now, and I cant thank your office enough!

Brought my daughter (2.5yrs) in with a fever of 104 for 3 days. Doctor wouldn’t see her in person because of covid. The lady at the front desk was horrible and rude ‘what do you want’ is how she greeted me. I’m a CVT so I understand working in healthcare sometimes isn’t enjoyable but people coming in with sick kids don’t need to be greeted with attitude - there’s more going on than just covid. Brought her to the walk in on Lauzon and riverside and got seen right away - she has an ear infection. By the time I got home I still hadn’t received at call from the doctor. Don’t recommend

Wanted to bring my son in and because he had a sore throat I couldn't due to precautions the doctor is taking due to Covid.news flash is been two years it's not going anywhere and if your so worried find a new day Job! How can you have a phone interview and actually diagnose someone properly? What a bunch of JOKES!

Have been going here for about a year now. I am taking the time to express myself in saying how impressed and Happy I have been with Dr Gandhi and Staff. I strongly recommend for fast service, fast results and friendly atmosphere from people who care that you take the time when in need and experience how Walk In clinics here in Windsor should be run. Thank You Dr Gandhi and Staff and hope to continue many more years. Peace

My wife went to see Dr Ghandi to check her aching hand. She sent her for an x-ray. I called after 3 days as it was a long weekend, the secretary told me no results yet from the lab, I called on day 4 same thing so on day 5 I called the lab they said that they sent everything 3 days ago. When I called the secretary she said we have lots of reports the Dr still need to look into. We’ll call you. Why did she lie before and said we haven’t received anything.
WORST TREATMENT EVER. I don’t recommend this clinic. NEVER COMING BACK

I used to go to this clinic to see Dr. Peter Kuhlman who was my family physician way back when and then retired, then came out of retirement to do clinic work a couple days a week. When he departed, I had my concerns.

That is, until I met Dr. Beaudoin who is one of the most knowledgeable, kind-hearted, introspective, and hands-on comprehensive full-on specialists, with compassion and smarts to boot. I can't say enough about Dr. Beaudoin who, like Kuhlman before her, only does work here a couple days out of the week.

But if you are lucky enough to be attended to by this extraordinary individual who takes her oath and profession seriously, but always with a modicum of humor and charm, then be prepared for a consultation unlike any other you've likely experienced thus far.

Here is someone who really knows her craft - better still, how to apply what she's learned with, not only a critical eye, but a genuine understanding that human beings are not just numbers on a page and prescriptions to be doled out like Pez candy.

She certainly gets my vote for 'Physician of the Year' - any year!

RE: the clinic itself, it's been given a complete make-over.and is clean and impressive.

I don't understand the previous comments made here about the staff. They've never been anything less than ultra-kind to me when I've arrived for treatment and consultation.

If they ask a lot of questions, it's only because they've been trained to do their pre-screening well, and do simply that, without fuss or confusion, to move the traffic along as it should. Yes, wait times vary. Deal with that! I have.

Clinic was quick and easy experience. Staff was friendly and helpful! I would recommend to a friend.

The receptionist has alot of attitude and makes me not want to walk in the clinic ever again. If u dont like ur job just quit dont make people feel uncomfortable

Absolutely horrible experience with the receptionist. Treated me awfully and the doctor McClean was rude as well. I will not be coming back to this clinic.

The doctor was good. But there is a big sign outside saying “short wait times” I waited over 1.5 hours to see the doctor. Why the false advertisement?

Staff members are very polite. I understand where a lot of people are coming from with being angry about the hours.but I was told they don’t always accept people due to the amount of patients they have, they’re trying to get it changed online I guess. The doctors are amazing and I feel comfortable talking with them. The two receptionists are so polite when answering the phone. The pharmacy was also quick and amazing! Just amazing staff in general!
