Little outdated as far as the walls and furniture but since I went there treat, burder was good, service was good and pricing was fair. Will be back. Good local pub, with a good selection.

The bartend spent her entire shift chatting with the regulars. She never asked me if I wanted anything. I had to go to the bar and ask her for food and drinks.

Cozy bar, but abysmal service. The bartender (s) were audibly complaining about shutting the bar down at midnight, when last call was still hours away. They appeared lazy and disinterested in their patrons. The highlight of my night was when I asked for an Amaro, and the bartender didn't even know what that was! The unprofessionalism, lack of basic drink knowledge, and the tired demeanor of the bartenders was a turn off.

I didn't appreciate the smoking smell the bar have it, plus I didn't appreciate neither the dirty glass of wine.

Overall it’s tolerable. They’re lucky there’s little competition around the neighbourhood. Once more pubs pop up in the area, I’m not sure it’d survive.
Went here with mixed expectations because of the “not for everyone” five star reviews and owner’s responses on bad reviews. It turns out to be an okay place for food and drinks. But the front of house and services need a lot professionalism, from appearance to interaction with customers - not everyone who goes there more than once want to be your BFF.

When you decide to try a new spot and it was over before it started. Especially for a Saturday night it was very quiet. Btw I have not tried any of the food, kitchen was closed. We were was very disappointed in the unfriendly bar service she lacked customer service and our wait time for drinks or to be even served in a dead bar was unacceptable. My bf and I wanted to leave before our drinks were even done. Not a play I will revisit

It's a great low key bar, and the staff are hilarious and personable, always a good place for a quiet hang with friends.

Great location for the community! Customer service is spot on and the food is amazing! I highly recommend that people check out this pub.

Wychwood Pub located at Bathurst & St-Clair Avenue West is not just a place to have a drink and some food - It is a great place to meet and share laughs and stories with new friends or catch a soccer game with a lively group. Lise and Christina, are the very best! And the Souvlaki Dinner with Double Greek Salad has me coming in every week! This place with amazing regulars, fantastic bartenders and an owner who cares about his establishment and the community is the best:). Formal Fridays is the best idea ever!

I went there with my friend, customer service was terrible. Bartender lady was never smiles, she tried to overcharge for one beer. I never go there again.

Let me start off by saying this place is not for everyone, if it was it wouldn’t be the neighbourhood gem that it is. The staff is incredibly generous and fun and the happy hour prices are extremely approachable. That being said, if you don’t want to sit around the bar and make friends STAY AWAY. If you hate fun and good conversation STAY AWAY. I suppose this bar is not for everyone cause most people aren’t the funny and welcoming patrons that hang around here. The food is good the beers are cold and it’s the only bar in the neighbourhood worth spending your money at. Enjoy!

Generally a pleasant atmosphere and good ol"pub food to enjoy with your pints or other beverages. Welcoming to those in a group and as well to folks attending solo. Wait staff and even patrons usually engage with you if youre alone. Not many typical pubs like this around the area so it's nice as a local go to.

Ordered take out. Never again. It is a good thing I don't eat much because there isn't much to have. Fries & rice are cheap, so load it up! My husband's meal was pathetic! Side greek salad, more like mini Greek salad. Chicken souvlaki and rice which was ordered as mixed souvlaki. Not even 1 cup of rice.
$52 and it didn't even fill us up.

Not surprised the place has such a mediocre review. The place was pretty gloomy and the bartender lady was standoffish and not to personable. Too bad there's not too many options in this area.

I have to say when eating in, the food and portions are fantastic. However, takeout portions are stingy and quite pathetic for the price. I will not order takeout are ever patronize Wychwood Pub ever again.

This place was quite odd. It smells very moldy unfortunately. I had to leave after a drink due to an emergency but I couldn't stand the smell.

Had a meeting at this location and was pleasantly surprised at how kind the staff were and how good the food was. I certainly didn't expect anything except to be able to drink a beer here. This was day one of Vax passports and I was not prepared. The staff were super patient and accommodating as I struggled to find the necessary documents. We actually left and came right back because I finally found them. One staff seemed a bit grumpy but I can understand that, and the other was a pleasure! I will be going again to have more casual meetings as this pub made it comfortable and I like that

The service was excellent. In fact the wait staff went beyond what you might think wait staff would do. The food was cooked perfectly. There was a good selection of entrees and starters etc on the menu. I would definitely eat there again.

I stopped by for no reason. My first visit. The impression is good. The bartender was nice and welcoming. If I need a place to discuss a private matter I'll go there again.

Myself and a few friends went on Sept 19.we came in around midnight ordering drinks. I hate to say this about a local watering hole for the neighborhood but service was terrible.our server Christina had her mask off several times while approaching tables.in a pandemic this is a huge problem especially with asymptomatic carriers of the disease still out here in Toronto and the world with cases increasing.

If I were the owner I would reprimand this server for not wearing her mask while walking around to different tables.and talk tomorrow their employees about providing friendlier and safer service in a pandemic

Great place to together with friends/family for a fantastic meal (Ask for Barry cooking) and great place to have drinks and meet new people.

The owner will always welcome you with open arms.

Food and drinks are meh. Service was absolutely amazing though, and I would definitely go back just for that! Absolutely brilliant staff, regretfully I don’t remember my server’s name but she really made our night.

Stay away from the nachos I would give 0 stars if I could, This place sells overpriced poorly cooked food.

Terrible food and a salty owner who can't take advice. Honestly don't know how this place is still open other then selling old beer to poor people

I moved into the neighbourhood a few months ago and my boyfriend and I were looking for a fun bar to have some drinks on a Saturday night. We thought we'd try the Wychwood Pub. We had one drink and left.

I wouldn't really classify this as a pub. Or even a gastropub. It was quite brightly light for a pub. No character. Adult contemporary music playing quietly in the background. The 2 people working were just watching TV.

I don't think I'd come back here.

Yesterday was our first time we visited this good restaurant. But It is definitely not the last. We enjoyed the evening a lot with the attentive service, with the high quality cuisine and booze and with the comfortable cost. We will absolutely return there again.

Friendly and attentive service and a nice local, community feel to this pub. Shepherd's pie was very good, butter chicken less so and wouldn't order it again. Menu is lengthy with options for every taste. Decent variety of beer, could use more import selections.

Food is average but a overpriced for what you get in my opinion. Have eaten here a few times and all have been just meh.

Excellent service I’ve got ever. I believe that Wychwood Pub is a top-notch bar in our neighbourhood. Normally I don’t do leave a comment, but after I visited, I literally keen to share my experience with everyone being looking for a good place to drink near St. Clair west stn. It’s a really good place to grab a bite to eat and enjoy drinking fresh beer.

Decent place but the expensive beers on tap are high priced enough to make me travel to different bars despite this being my local bar.

The Wychwood is a location I used to frequent and I'll occasionally stop by due to its very convenient vicinity to my place. The variety of drinks and food is definitely enough of a crowd pleaser for me and my roommate. I recommend this place to anyone in the nearby St. Clair W vicinity. Can't go wrong.
