Wye Marsh Wildlife Centre

We had our daughter's 5th Birthday party there and it was a great experience. Our host, Ede, was knowledgeable and fun, and very capable of keeping the kids interested! We've been many times, and we will continue to go back.

Didn't bring phone for our hike, it's one of those things that you just want to go free of everything but yourself and your company

Good spot, paid parking area. We were on the hiking side but there is another spot we saw on way in not sure what that area was for

The Wye Marsh is a beautiful place for all nature lovers. We highly recommend the special events like Marsh at Midnight and the three hour kayak tour. We enjoyed both of them a lot and could observe many wild animals up close. Both of our tours were guided by Celeste, who is a real expert, very sympathetic and knows everything about the wildlife. THANK YOU Celeste for this marvellous experience!

Our family loves the Wye marsh. They put on great events, the trails are are beautiful and there are so many birds and so much nature to enjoy.

Went for the Maple syrup festival. Will definitely attend in the summer to see the bees. Great habitat for swans. The maple syrup demonstration was fantastic. The volunteer talking about the creation of the syrup was an engaging and educational experience for my son. Great volunteers at the site. One lady walked with us to the main building talking to my son about animals he could see and activities he could do.

Beautiful area to hike and connect with nature. 25km+ of hiking trails, interpretive centre, birds of prey area, lookout tower, and so much more to enjoy at this spot. One of the best in Simcoe County and Southern Ontario.

What a gem! Drove by here a number of times not realizing that they had a sanctuary for predator birds and a huge wetland to see swans, geese, ducks. Great photography spot.

A great place to spend the day in the woods. Lots of programs for families with interpretive panels throughout explaining everything along the way. Looking forward to getting a family membership this year.

Went for Sweetwater Festival, but due to high winds there were no outdoor events going on, still walked around as it is a beautiful nature walk, went over to St Marie Among the Hurons that made up for it w a lot of vendors, building 12 outside served up cornbread, maple syrup & raspberry tea w a brief history lesson, will attend again

Fun little spot to hike. It was dog friendly (on leash only), except the bird of prey exhibit. Friendly staff, and very nice facilities.

We absolutely love our visits. We purchased a years pass for the family. Can't wait to return

Our family tries to make an annual visit at least because the Wye Marsh is an awesome day trip. We visited on family day, when the trails were fairly icy. If you have cleats I'd bring them, otherwise we had a fantastic time visiting the turtles, swans, and birds of prey!

It's a nice place to visit the birds indoors and out walk the board walk and trails and snow shoe too and watch them tap trees for maple syrup, climb the lookout, and visit the Trumpter Swans, have a chick a dee land on you or near you and a partridge follow you around till he finds that pear tree, the bat's were asleep and so were the Mason and leafcutter bees waiting for spring and get out and pollinate the flowers and plants they do not make honey, Did not see a beaver or muskrat around this time.

I had an incredible time at Wye Marsh when I visited a couple months ago. The gentleman at the front who greeted me was so friendly and there was so much wildlife to see. Trumpeter swans, birds of prey, muskrats and other birds are just some of what I was lucky enough to see. I would like to come back in the warmer months to see the reptiles and other critters!

Kids loved it, especially the turtles inside and the swans swimming. Good way to get outside with young kids in the winter. (we pulled them in sleds). Can’t wait for the avian bird flu to pass so we can feed the birds again

Amazing place to take your kids, lots of wildlife to be seen, affordable snowshoe rentals too!

Amazing! Beautiful sites, lots of benches along the way, beautiful outlooks and a great place to propose! Atleast that's what my fiance thought! <3
